Nice content. How big is this fenced farm plantation? How many suckers can it contain for a start to test run? Can one invest using drip irrigation system for more efficiency in plantain farming? Thank you
Very informative videos you upload I wish everyone can have access to your videos there's a lot to learn and it makes one begin to see possibilities outside oil in Nigeria . Weldon
This s the best video for this Please how many suckers can be eñough in my one plot(50 by 100) And what should be my measurement by ft before planting the next suckre (ft not mtre)
What a transformation, the accuracy and measurement is top notch. I think this type of agriculture is one we neglect over here, and from what you said, its one of the easiest in terms of maintenance. How can I treat these suckers against Nematode infestation? as you said. 18:07 😩 20:51 Is Victor's screaming for me!! 🤣🤣. I love the fact that you work with such happiness, I mean this video is fun and educative. This is a perfect description of *ALL WORK AND NO PLAY..........
Camera woman, if you want to know how to treat the suckers come and pay consultant fee 🤣😂. It seems you've gotten yourself a job as a videographer, the video is highly commendable by many, and your wicked laugh for the background they make other people laugh😂.
Plantain is not a perennial crop, you can only harvest once on a plant. It reproduces suckers for continuous harvest that does not require replanting except the suckers are extracted and planted in another location.
Thanks for your comment. Perennial crops are crops that you do not need to replant every year, which you also said they produce suckers, and those suckers produce new sets of plantains without you replanting, that simply is what perennial crops are, after harvest they grow back, those suckers that grow is what produces new sets of plantain, all you need do is maintain it. They are people who say plantains are bi-annual, annual, and others say they are perennial, to you it might not be perennial but to me that's what i would call it and I gave my reasons for that. I also talked about suckers gotten from the plantain tree, they can be replanted else where like you said, you can use them to expand your plantain farm or sell it to make money.
lol its your friend laughing behind the camera for me lol. victor must be really strong sha cos all d food u dey chop I dey sure say u go get weight oooo.

If I may know, why do you always cut off the head of suckers after planting?
