Great episode! For another guest, could you and Briahna Joy Gray do an episode about criminal oppression on the basis of classism as a mitigating factor in Luigi Mangione’s case?
Did NOT expect Zaid to agree on *any* aspect of paying for proficiency. Truly thought he would flinch on paying the parents, but he didn't. Wow. Lol. This was helpful in seeing another side of Zaid that I didn't know was there. Still side-eye him a bit, but I appreciate seeing this side of him as a thinker.
Excellent guest and interplay between you two. For every big idea Irami had, the guest had a good real-life example or story, so the ideas felt more whole and achievable.
New York is bigger than the city, and there are affordable area here, and unaffordable areas in Georgia. However NY governance includes Paid Family Leave and Prenatal leave, red states/ most states do not.
Itami, you and Dr. Glenn Loury need to speak. That would be amazing. I know y’all would disagree strongly on economics but I think on social topics yall would align greatly.
Watched a lot of Dr Loury and I think he’s deeply unserious. He is “smart”. He can talk about ideas and write books but he isn’t parenting like Irami or bringing any new ideas to any discussions. It’s all opinions based on reading without integrity of ideas and actions. Basically he admits his whole life is chasing his ego and it hasn’t amounted to anything.
Been loving your output lately, I'd love to hear yall talk more about bigotry/inflammatory discourse and its role in the current political environment
Enjoyed hearing you all on Bad Faith. Glad to hear the convo continue
Irami's reactions pointing to the camera is cracking me up
Like he was that dude in the barber shop when someone makes a really good point.
Love the collaboration, it's a great discussion.

Georgia as a state is generally more affordable than New York as a state.
The Abortion issue is interesting because Woman are more anti abortion then men which are more pro abortion and each fall into the other parties camp

And Irami, you should watch John Q. Lol
Just finished!
Everyone says the Democrats are so kooki on trans issues but then literally never give specific examples I’m really fucking tired of that
