I totally hated the whole movie. The story development in the MCU just became worse with every movie, and Infinity War is truely the finish of a storyline that started great but became more and more shit over the time.
It's 2 and a half hours long. And were gonna get a part 2 next year which should also be 2 and a half hours long. I think the movie isn't short at all.
John Marston well it is understandable because of the time it would take to make a 4 hour movie while doing all the other films then trying to fit that film in various theatres when they have other movies to show is near impossible. Also do you really wanna sit in a theatres with some dickheads feet practically on your head for a full 4 hours?
Joseph Sabourin It's pretty much to increase profits, man. Also, I don't know what type of theaters you go to, but I get reserved seating. If a dude has his feet practically on your head, then I'd suggest you tell him to put his feet down, or get the manager/attendant. You should never tolerate that shit.
Infinity War was so much more than I could ever have hoped for. But one negative thing is as you mentioned, that we know some characters will come back. They should have pulled back on releasing the upcoming movies, so that we don't know what will come after Infinity War.
Big deal... it's just like the comics. When a character dies the FIRST thing you say to yourself is "until they bring them back". I see no reason it should be any different in the MCU. It's how superhero is done.
Despite the fact I new they were coming back I was still emotional as they died, spider man especially. For me the big thing is knowing that although they will come back, most of the survivors are likely to die in the next one. Especially iron man and captain America.
Sure, but I found myself engaged in the story and affected by the deaths. While in TLJ I was begging out load in the theater for Snoke (whatever) to just kill Rey, dammit.
It’s also important to consider what kind of effect those characters’ deaths have on the surviving characters. Imagine how tormented Tony will be in the next movie after having Spider-Man die in his arms. Same thing for Steve losing Bucky and Falcon, same thing for Okoye losing her king. It makes their emotional burden greater in the next movie as they have to overcome all odds to work through their pain and somehow find a way to defeat Thanos and reverse the damage.
Same here. I knew that we are getting a Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Spider-Man sequels so seeing them turn to ash didn't have the impact it should have. My biggest fear of Avengers 4 is that when they do bring them back somehow, they will bring Everyone back. Not just those that turned to ash, but along with Gamora, Vision, Loki and Heimdall. If it was up to me, I would only bring some of them back, but still make sure that the other characters stay dead. This ending is way too big and have so much weight only for them to reverse the entire thing and make it like it never happened.
I disagree. He had four movies of plot development before this, and in his few minutes of screen time in this film, you see how much he's grown. He can't help but beg for Thanos to stop killing Thor, he was on Hulk's side this time around, he accepted his title as Odinson, and he tried to make up for his sins by taking out the big bad in his typical mischievous way. He went out in such a sad way that really fit his character, and moved the story forward. RIP Loki
but knowing his character he wouldn't go down that easily and he faked his death again probably to try to take control of earth again like he did when he faked his death by that dark elf and then pretended to be a guard to get back to Asgard and then he managed to overpower Odin and take his power and then imprison him on Earth while he pretended to be Odin I think he could be trying to gain control of earth but I think he knows that would be stupid and he wouldn't do that
You also have to take into account that right after that Thanos beat down Hulk also rather easily, so the whole scene was just to make a point of how over the top of a bad ass that he is that he can easily dispatch of these other superpowered individuals.
This movie just showed us how much talented is David Bautista. I was totally skeptical about his turn on movies after his WWE career, but he made me change my mind when he took the role of Drax, and now with Infinity War he stole every fucking scene he was in.
His end was the saddest for me. I know they all were gut wrenching but the way Drax says "Quill..." so worried and afraid makes me not hate Starlord like most do.
I don’t really have an issue with Elizabeth’s accent especially considering that Infinity War takes place 2-3 years after Civil War. Wanda’s been out of Sokovia and surrounded by Americans for a few years. It’s only natural that her accent would start to change. I have no idea wether this was deliberate or not but it works in this context.
Agreed. I would sometimes speak in perfect American English, and sometimes in perfect British English, and sometimes scrambled Chingrish without noticing myself. My American and British friends notice that and would ask me to rephrase, then I knew to pronounce differently again.
I dunno...Accents can stick around for life if the person left their home country after reaching adulthood. Wanda I think technically left in her late teens so the accent may actually have gone away for the most part.
For me the worst thing about Infinity War was killing Loki at the beggining of the movie. Such a great character didn't deserve to die that way, so easy, so stupidly. As in Thor Ragnarok, he was one of my main reasons to see this movie.
His motivation is actually very clearly established from the outset. He's a sociopathic megalomaniac. He does what feeds his ego and what he thinks he can get away with. Those types of people are always unstable, with altering alliances and shifting from "good" to bad and, like Thor says in Ragnarok, are hard pressed to grow and change from that. Loki fit that description from beginning to the end. He was not purely evil so to speak, so he would do good things from time to time, but it was all for himself and his own gratification or pride. And he enjoyed intrigue, which is why he was mischievous.
Thought it was appropriate. Did everyone forget that he borrowed the Chitauri Army from Thanos and got them killed? Or how about losing the Space and Mind stones? Made sense for him to die in this movie. Would have been questionable (and stupid) if he didn’t die at least protecting his brother (literally the one thing he could possibly love) or being killed by Thanos.
I was expecting them to kill him off eventually but his death was just rubbish. A brilliant character like that should've had a better death scene, there was no build up, it was too rushed and it was so pathetic especially seeing as how loki has fought alongside Thor against powerful opponents and managed to hold his own.
I don't think he's actually gone. He's far too clever, far too scheming to try a lame frontal assault like that. I was watching it, certain it was a play for Thor to see, so Loki could realign with Thanos somehow. In any case, I don't think we've seen the last of him.
Dragon Ball Black Wong : Oh, they're gonna fight Thanos.. Wong : *looks for a reason to not join the war* Wong : The sanctum is un-guarded, for now I shall be the guardian of it... Good luck...
People naturally lose their accent piece by piece once they leave their culture where they learned it. Scarlet Witch dropping her accent slowly, even within the same scene, is actually a very accurate thing to do. It might even be planned, which may be giving the writers too much credit.
Someone drop their accent in the course of a few years??? Noway. Like with Berry losing her accent for Storm after the first film for no apparent reason than she didn't want to do it anymore, the same here, Olson just flat out didn't commit to it.
Seeing that ultimately it is up to the actor, I don't see who else but her would have made the decision not to do it. It will be interesting to see if anyone actually asks her about it, then we should get a definitive answer.
llcruize I'd be interested to hear how they respond as well. I don't think dropping the accent made much of a difference for me. I noticed it a couple of times while watching the film. I would have preferred it if they kept hough, at least in some part for the sake of continuity and realistic accent development. In any case, I think Olsen's performance all in all was great!
i guess they needed someone with the body of a dwarf, the proportions are different. i think he is kinda spacedwarf, meaning he has the proportions of a dwarf but is bigger than normal people
I really wish the Hulk grows stronger in Avengers 4 and Marvel really shows more of what the Hulk can do. So far, all they've shown of Hulk is that he's very strong and durable. There is so much more to Hulk, they need to implement his anger more. The angrier he gets, the stronger he gets after all. That is still true right?? Come on Marvel, don't nerf the hulk!
I was waiting for the big "Hulk" moment when he busted out of the hulk buster and went on a rampage. Seems like they couldn't be bothered to animate hulk again and put it in the plot that he cant control his powers "again". Hulks real inconsistent.
Yeah we know that Thanos is the most powerful thing we have seen so far. Bit over the top for someone who failed to grasp the context. We just want to see more Hulk. Defending the mind crystal had nothing to do with Thanos and just his minions, Hulk would have rolled all his minions but obviously not Thanos.
Amadeus XLO without the crystals, thanos knows a drawn out fight with hulk is risky due to his anger and strength. He has the power stone in this film and if he knew who tony stark was, he would know who hulk was and would know what he does. Meaning taking him out quick before anger builds. As a hulk fan, all I wish is that, I’m fine with thanos beating him one on one, but at least make him put up more of a fight and to not go down so easily
CDG710 Exactly my point. I'm not saying the Hulk beats Thanos in hand to hand combat especially Thanos with the power stone but he should have put up a better fight. After all Captain America held Thanos back a few seconds, Hulk should be able to do a little better. I just don't like the Hulk being used just for comedy purposes now, I hope the next Avengers movie shows the angry side of Hulk.
DaLeadBull I’ve said this before but hulk is commonly used as a strength benchmark. If it matches or beats hulk it’s strong. We never get to see hulk go one on one with someone similar size or power and decisively win like we know he should.
I agree, they wasted Tom Hiddleston's talent by killing him off at the beginning and we get to see Steve and Natasha so rarely. I would've preferred some more personal talks on their side (maybe some Nat/Bruce scene or Steve/Bucky) rather than Vision and Wanda romance being told so explicitly.
Lets talk some negatives I personally found in this film:(JUST MY OPINION) 1-Black Order were shamefully nerfed and underwhelming, I know they can’t be comic strong but atleast they could have given a more challenge. Maw was the only good one I’d say. Kinda wish they will come back. 2-Cap was such a letdown. He didn’t have a proper fight scene. I’d wished he fought the Black Order properly in Wakanda, would have made the Black Order a bit less underwhelming too. Hope they are saving Chris Evans’ best for the last. 3-The soul stone was not gone into a bit deeper, considering how every other stone got an entire film for it. 4-The entire Wakandan plot felt rushed like a lot of stuff was cut from it. It’s probably for pacing and run time issues. The entire film was jam-packed and I felt 10-15mins more would have done more good than harm. Couldve given hs a glimpse of the decimation of Xandar. Hope we get an extended cut in the Blu-Ray. 5-Loki’s death was underwhelming and extremely stupid for a character who is that clever. 6- Lack of the “Money shot” from Trailer 1. It looked too good to be a fake scene and I’m so fucking disappointed that it didn’t come in the film. Fingers crossed we get something even bigger in Avengers 4. Regardless I loved how they completely misdirected all of us through the marketing campaign and caught us off guard with that ending. Played us really really well. They created genuine interest in Captain Marvel and Ant Man just through some dialogues and a post-credit scene. Simply Genius.
The wakandan plot wasn’t incredibly rushed but maybe it could have been better, but the first quarter and last quarter of that was fucking amazing, and even the inbetween bits like Thor and Rocket+Bucky teaming up were incredible like 90% of that plot was incredible.
Connor What other powers could he possibly use against Thanos (who already has the Power Stone in the Infinity Gauntlet)? Or even the Black Order? Loki isn’t that powerful to begin with..
Absolutely. I refuse to believe that Loki, who is supposed to be smart and a trickster god, didn't have some plan when he so blatantly invited Thanos to kill him. Such a gruesome death, and such a waste of a great character. If they don't bring back Loki when they resurrect the people who were killed, Marvel might as well permanently kill off Thor at the end of Infinity War part 2 as well, because without Asgard, Odin, and Loki, what is the point of Thor? You certainly couldnt make another Thor movie ever. Does Marvel really want to delete most of the "first generation" of Avengers characters out of the picture and only make movies with the "second generation" (Miss Marvel, Spiderman, Ant-Man)?
Jesus, emotional fan boys. It was a smart narrative move to kill off Loki. It actually establishes more weight and pays off the fact that Loki has failed Thanos before and was afraid of him in Avengers 1. There's no conceivable way for loki to win and not die here. Illusions and his magic wont do shit to the power stone. And the film did a good job by making his death gruesome and not some disney shit.
The problem is not that he died. Most people (including me) were expecting it anyway. The problem is that Marvel fridged one of their most compelling characters. Face it: he was one of the most important characters of the franchise and saying that he had a positive reception would be an understatement. Giving meaningless and gruesome death to such a character while the emotional focus of the scene is used to build the previously non-existent personality of someone else is simply not good writing.
About Wanda's accent, she sounds Scottish in a couple of lines when we reconnect with her and Vision, and living in America would adjust her hearing and speech patterns to a more ambiguous style. In certain involuntary responses and stressful situations, her Slavic accent will come forth. In Scotland, blending in to her surroundings, she would have picked up vocal cues from her neighbours, and the rest of the time, being constantly surrounded by people speaking American English would greatly influence her voice. Elizabeth would have thought about this on set for these films, and she probably thought she would naturally lose her Slavic inflections and sound more like herself, so she put that into Wanda's character. I don't hear any complaints about Natasha not sounding Russian, spy or no, she has spent a lot of time with American speaking people during her time with SHIELD and probably learned an American and possibly English accents whilst learning the language when she was younger. Scarlet and Elizabeth do a great job of bringing their characters to life and I never forget they are not American.
So Loki couldn’t have died because as it was made clear frost giants cannot really die physically because they have regeneration. Unless there was a magical force that could’ve stopped that or could’ve just killed them. Another thing to add to that is that Loki had more magical powers then just being a frost giant. He spent over 1000 years with his mom who is literally the queen of Asgard, she knew everything she lived over 4000 years. Since Odin was busy teaching Thor how to be king Frigga had pity for Loki and taught him her magical powers- like: •Astral Projection • Flight •Illusion Casting •Energy Blasts • Inter-dimensional teleportation •Shapeshifting •Telepathy These were taught to him by his mother, according to Norse mythology and the Comics, while he inherited Frost Giants abilities such as •Superhuman strength •Durability (power to withstand damage) •Longevity Now the reason Loki doesn’t look like a Frost Giant (who have grey skin, red eyes, and are at least 20 feet tall) is because his mother had cast spells for him to alter his appearance to the eye, doing something to make him use his shapeshifting ability without him knowing it. Anyways, just before the scene that he dies in, he cannot he found anywhere while Hulk is fighting Thanos, and when a Thanos receives the Tesseract he is nowhere to be found, (trust me I know this because I’ve seen the movies twice and the second time I watched it I was paying attention to each detail in that scene, and just after Thanos places the Space stone into the Gauntlet, Loki steps out from behind a wall in the setting, and says his little speech about how he will help Thanos and things like that, and then, Thanos kills him. But the thing that is tricky here is how Loki has worked for Thanos before (the Avengers) and know better than to just attack Thanos with a dagger, and even if he DID kill Thanos, he would’ve immediately been killed by Thanos’ children. (Proxima Midnight, Black Dwarf, The Ebony Maw, Supergiant) Now in previous films Loki has shown to be smarter than that, even in Avengers when in theory he had convinced Thanos and the Avengers to do things a certain way so the Avengers would win and take him back to Asgard(where he would plan to take over until his mother had died giving him rage and soon forcing him to fake his death) So, I’m theory Loki wouldn’t have died because these things would’ve happened if he really DID die, •He would’ve been turned back into his true Frost Giant form • He would’ve had to be killed by the Infinity Stones themselves, as they were a magical force So- another thing that happened to prove this point is when he died in Thor: The Dark World, he had been stabbed through his torso with a Dark Elf blade, but he had managed to perform a few spells to physically fake his death. He just needed a few minutes like he got in Dark World at the hill. Where do you think he would’ve spent those few minutes? Maybe using the time where Thanos was distracted by Hulk? Secondly, before someone assumes that Loki would’ve died in outer space is wrong, he is immune to being frozen in space, cuz he’s a freaking Frost Giant, and next- Frost giants don’t take harm from no oxygen. Now the reason this seems like it makes him a lot bigger than he is in other movies is because in Thor: Ragnarok, the director Tiakia Watiti, didn’t really like Loki, so he made Loki out to be weaker. In Avengers, he was being possessed and controlled, and he let Thanos control him because Thanos had tortured him mentally and physically with what makes Frost giants suffer the most from. Heat.
JJ, shut the Fuhell up & never speak again, this I command. And as for you AudreyPerson, that was the most insightful and comprehensive explanation as to why Loki should still be alive and hopefully that will prove to be true when A4 arrives in just under a year now and with the only way to bring everyone (or at least most everyone) back who died/vanished at the end being that time will have to be reversed
And the only characters that can ultimately do that, aside from and since Dr. Strange can't be one of them since he of course turned to dust as so many of them did, is either Thanos himself will (the most likely scenario) if his grief over Gamora truly proves to consume him to that extent and since he does of course posses the time stone along with the rest of them on the gauntlet, but the next most likely character that could conceivably effect the timeline is either Loki with his abilities (as you stated his abilities are vast and impressive) or perhaps Captain Marvel but aside from Thanos I believe that having Loki manipulate time and perhaps change the way the events unfold/ed would be the best way for the plot and story line to go in A4 and thus having Loki turn out to be one of the key heroes in the story. That would be the most astounding and outstanding scenario for most everyone I think, or at least certainly for diehard (& hardcore) Loki fans (that I believe ultimately outnumber the fans of the other characters in the MCU by at least a bit or so it seems to me based off of the number of comments I see on both this thread and most of the threads I ever see about and pertaining to MCU characters!) and would therefore make it the most incredible finish to the story/movie, along with the Hulk getting his Mojo back!
Yeah true if Thor knock hulk as quick as possible cuz no one wanna fight hulk when he have unlimited power / fight for hours or weeks. That why thanos take out hulk quicks, even this he not afraid of the hulk but that doesn't mean he wanna fight him.
MCU Hulk is not that strong. Thanos stomped him when he had one stone, Hulkbuster Iron Man beat him in Age of Ultron and Thor would have kicked his ass in both Avengers and Thor:Ragnarok. In fact, Iron Man did better against Thanos than Hulk did and was actually able to wound him slightly.
Yes it is, very bad. But the only reason many of us ever come here is to mock, point and laugh, so it's so bad it's good. I do worry about the people who need SOOOO much about movies based on comic books explained to them. Wow. I hope none of them drive.Or live anywhere but their moms' basements.
Sedna Dragon in the cast list for the next avengers Tom Hiddleston is set to be in it. And also they cant just kill Loki like that. Im pretty sure Loki didn't actually die he has faked death plenty of times.
Loki is definitely coming back, he's faked his death twice now. Don't forget he is the god of mischief, illusions so good that not even Thor or the asgardians could see through him at the end of Thor: The Dark World.
I saw this film yesterday. I loved it alot. But the trailers didn't match up with the film. Trailer shows Cap and hulk etc running into battle...not in the film...other things also but I so wanted to see hulk burst out out of hulkbuster armour like it teased.
Cam kinda did with the editing. Hulkbuster overcome by those creatures and then straight to banners face almost hulking out. Dunno why they show the hulk charging into battle with widow cap bucky and t'chala in the trailer.
Marvel seem to do that a lot recently. In Thor Ragnarok's trailer for example, in the scene where Hela destroyed Mjolnir, they were surrounded by buildings but in the movie they were in a cliff.
Derek Copland they do it to throw you off bc they realize the audience isn't stupid. They want to subvert your expectations so that the movie isn't shown in the previews
its all symbolic though showing the petulance of the character, if he is scared of thanos who the hell can defeat him? He will redeem himself in the next one and it was quite nice seeing puny banner have some screen time in a fight
The bad thing about hulk in the MCU is that he can’t really have any more solo films since Disney and Universal would have to work up some kind of contract deal. So to get around it, Disney has to make his character develop in other characters movies. Yeah, kinda sucks we didn’t get Hulk smashing some aliens in the Wakanda invasion, but from the character development side, what better time to NOT be able to become the Hulk when people needed him most? At least that’s how I look at it
I actually did like it. Cause they let us see that Bruce Banner is a hero too. It's not only the green monster, under that is a genius man who can also fight.
What if Loki hid when hulk and Thanos were fighting, allowed an ILLUSION of himself to be killed by Thanos, saying: "you will never be a god" as a reference to Loki's own immortality, then after Thanos was gone, what if the real Loki escaped with Korg and Valkyre??
Winston Shih she did but it's comics, obviously! It's just text. You can't tell the difference. In the comics, she was raised with her brother by their mother in an Eastern European country and only learned Magneto's their dad when they were adults already. Elisabeth Olsen is losing the accent for the character over a few films on purpose. And I agree with that decision, it's annoying so hopefully that'll be the last of it. She's probably not permanently dead anyway
i think it's okay. she has been living out of sokovia for a long time. she can get used to new accents with the new people she's talking with everyday, especially vision. most people are like that. also, people do tend to go back and forth their accents because of emotion. a lot of people do that too.
I just honestly think Loki’s death was the most pathetic death of the MCU. I hope it’s not a true death and he returns with ‘you still fall for that trick?’ Or something along those lines because it was such a weak attack. If they had killed the original avengers I would’ve believed the ending to the movie a lot more. Also, that soul stone search was the worst. They spent so much of the movie trying to humanize Thanos that I felt the search was completely wasted potential. Unlike in Age of Ultron where you got the feeling Hawkeye was going to die: but instead Quicksilver did, and it gave me some worry, I don’t feel any worry for any of the characters. Mostly just frustration.
While I think Loki's part was well acted by Tom and everyone involved in that opening scene was great as well, I do agree that Loki's death was undeserved and unjustified. I'm upset that Marvel has never shown just how powerful Loki truly is and have forgotten that Loki has taken on Thor and Cap one on one and held his own. He even had Cap on the ropes until Iron Man came in. Loki remains one of the best characters and that's all because of Tom's performance of him. Marvel really dropped the ball with Loki and have shown both Loki and Hiddleston injustice and disrespect. I will not be watching another Marvel movie without Hiddleston. Yes, that's the only reason I stuck with these movies.
mimisuek It's sad really. I actually wanted to walk out of the theater within 10 minutes after his death. Even got upset and one of my friends were wondering if I was crying. I knew it was coming but it was a horrible way to make him go out. I would have appreciated it a bit more if they didn't do it like they did in this movie. They say that he will be back in the second part but in a flashback moment or something. And honestly.. not even the jokes really made me laugh in this movie. Some of them were.. bad. And Thor is honestly nothing without even Loki around. To say at least. I didn't like Infinity War. Not because of Loki's death but the fact Thanos literally got stepping stools to get the stones. And his character is just bleh in my opinion. I agree with your comment though all the way.
It wasn't a bad movie but not something that is worth it's hype at all. I stopped caring after the opening scene. Most of the characters bored the shit out of me. I do like Stark and this being the first time seeing Spidey I enjoyed him to, and for the first time I give props to Hemsworth. But evening in liking them or their performance I still couldn't care for them. Does that make sense?
mimisuek it makes sense. The hype is just bleh honestly for this movie. And honestly the characters just kind of felt.. meh to me. Maybe because of how the writing was for this movie.
the only real thing I noticed was how empty the world felt. We didn't see any normal people in the whole movie except for the first few scenes in New York. After that, it was just the stars and the 3 bad guys in every scene, the world and setting felt like an empty playground and not grounded in reality. Normal scenes like peter on the bus are what balance it out, we needed more stuff like that. Even in Scotland, vision and scarlet were going around an ultra empty city, it just felt like a really obvious movie set and not a real location
there were a couple of people around in Scotland but I get your point. I think though it late out when Scarlet Witch and Vision were outside (that or it was super early)
It had the feel of a smaller town to me, making it a better get away and hide spot. I've walked streets that empty at night in such towns. Small cities even. Edit: ok, I sound creepy haha, but when you live where I do anything late at night is empty, so that didn't throw the movie off for me. Just felt natural to me.
Loki's death was same as Ichimaru Gin's demise in Bleach anime series. I loved both characters, their hidden motives and sheer character. And what the makers do - they come out this easy, unsatisfying way to kill these characters..
You must probably still be in the hype feeling after watching the film. Relax and think about it I’m sure you can find negatives. The films positives outweighs the negatives by a mile but some negatives do stand out.
The only real "worst" about the movie is that we know that the characters will come back i.e spiderman has a movie very close after the next avengers movie, which makes the movie a little more underwhelming. But if you take it as a stand alone and think that the movie ended the way it did, then it was an awesome movie
cnwarry the movie can always be set at a time before the infinity war, the MCU story is quite different from the comics, so we may never actually know for sure, Thanos the mad titan has become Thanos the titan of balance for one, lol.
Loki didn't haft to die. He just didn't. His death was so meaningless and yes Thor gets angry and has a reason for revenge, but he kind of already had one considering Thanos killed everyone of the refugees making Thor the literal last known Asguardian....So, Loki's death was really bad. Granted its easier with him out of the way with the movie and all that but he didn't haft to die for it.
FYI, haft is not a word that exists in the English language. It's "have to", not "haft to"! But I do agree that they shouldn't have taken Loki out like that. With any luck he'll make it back with many of the others in A4.
best: Loki on the big screen! worst: Loki trying to defeat the purple grape with a freaking butter knife. (best: Loki's speech before he does so) (worst: seeing his eyes roll and the grape dropping his lifeless body)
I 100% agree about Loki. He was one of my favorite characters in the MCU, and had one of the best character arcs. I was very upset about that scene, not so much because he died but because he deserved a way better ending. It was quick and unsatisfying.
Instantaneous Sanic here’s hoping they redeem him in the sequel. He’s treated like an absolute joke and a benchmark for strength. If something beats hulk then it must be strong. First hulk buster, then Thor then thanos. At least let him win something
Now you understand how Loki-fans feel about 'Thor: Ragnarok'. Really, they should have left him dead after TDW if they weren't going to use him better than that.
*What I loved about Infinity War* - Robert Downey Jr. shines the brightest as Tony Stark (Despite everything, he was my favorite part of the entire movie) - Well-placed, well-timed humor (+ Bruce/Hulk banter) - Thanos was well-developed - All action scenes (especially the Battle of Wakanda) - Spider-Man (nuff said) - Effective emotional moments (especially with Gamora and Thor) - Fun character interactions (Peter Parker and Peter Quill, Thor and Rocket, Tony and Strange) - The ending - Post-credits scene *What I hated* - Loki's death 😭 - Reminding us of Natasha and Bruce's romance (I'm not really into it) - Teenage Groot (He wasn't that bad at all. I just wished he was either still a baby or grown-up.)
Spidermans ending killed me...😢😢😢 ******* Spider-man: Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good. Stark: You’re alright. Spider-man: I don’t know what’s happening.. I don’t want to go.. please.. I don’t want to go. (as he fades away) Spider-man: Mr. Stark, I’m sorry.
I absolutely disagree that MC does poorly on developing "villain" characters. I believe exactly the opposite! I think their ability to develop the villains as well as the heroes is the entire reason Marvel does so much better than DC in the movies. DC hasn't developed any worthwhile villains outside of Joker and Lex Luthor. Marvel has countless well developed villains (my favorite being Mr. Hiddleston :). Steppenwolf??? pfff
Joker, Bane, Ra's al Ghul, Two Face, Lex, Zod, Faora, Amanda Waller?? Need me to give you more great villains??? And I haven't even given you Deadshot & Harley.. Of course there have been the likes of Doomsday and Enchantress but most are waaaayy better than Marvel villains. Only good ones I can think of are Zemo, Loki, Warmonger and Vulture.
The Yes Guy i will give you joker lex and maybe zod. we need to define what makes a great villain and focus on what they have been able to bring to tv or the screen. other than the joker and lex i never got emotionally invested in the dc villains. fun topic!
I feel like loki didnt really die 1) he is known as the god of mischief.he disappeared in the scene then came back randomly to give the worst sneak attack on thanos? Loki is smarter then that. 2) they wouldnt kill of one of the most loved villain/hero in such a small way. It leaves people unsatisfied. He should go with out with a fight. 3) hes loki... he faked his death many times.
wandas accent wasnt bad. She is foreign but has stayed in US for 3+ years and is surrounded by english speakers. Her accent has become better but not great thats why it seemed that way. Thats super realistic. I can tell you cause Im an immigrant myself.
1. Ha, come on now.. they clearly showed him standing next to Thor. 2. What! Loki had a great end. He saved his brother, forgave & accepted his father & died a nobel death. 3. People thought that they weren't gonna go through with the snap but the MCU proved them wrong so don't start acting like _"Oh, yeah none of the deaths matter trust me I know everything"_ lol 4. Cap didn't need a lot of screen time because he's gonna play a huge role in Avengers 4 next year. 5. Really? You're focusing on her accent? lol, ya know people do slowly lose there accents after a while.
people don't lose their accents I know a couple of Europeans who has lived in California for 10 years and over and still have thick European accents you have no clue what you're talking about, I work with a guy from Wales and he's lived in California for over 10 years and he still sounds like he's straight from Wales.
if Loki really is a goner, we can’t help but wish he’d gone out a little different... YES TYSM!! I CANT BELIEVE THEY HAD TO KILL HIM OFF (and heimdall) IN THE BEGINNING, EVEN B4 THEY DISPLAYED THE TITLE
I think if they managed to hide all there future projects like Spider-man sequel, Black Panther sequel and possibly Doctor Strange's sequel. I think there deaths would of left a bit more weighted.
Wanda is improving on her accent. Her character is inconsistent in speaking with the correct English accent. Elizabeth is doing a good job acting out that part of Wanda.
ok..im sorry..but...while thanos is fighting hulk....he didnt use the power stone...you can clearly see if thanos uses an infinity stone..the stone will glow...and..during his fight with the hulk...his power stone, didnt glow..so,basically..thanos just defeats the hulk without the power stone...Thanos is still one of the strongest creatures in the MCU
daffa fawwaz garibaldi when he inputs a stone onto the gem, it makes him stronger in every sense of the word. With the power stone, that would increase his strength and durability naturally. It wouldn’t have to glow. My guess is they made hulk look like a bitch as they have big plans for him in the sequel and hopefully he gets revenge on thanos. That’s my hope though, huge hulk fan that was really annoyed at the portrayal of hulk in this film.
WBHulk would still fail to Thanos, instead of losing in 3 panels he may last 10 or so. But ultimately WBHulk has very few feats to determine how strong and durable he truly is.
they needed to do this, even they one from black order said "let him have his fun", this shows us they know how powerful thanos really is, even without a stone. you need this "comparison" to understand at the very beginning of the film how immense strong this fucker really is. i mean .. even the hulk was too scared to come out again. you need this knowledge and feeling for the climax on titan to know they are fighting some heavy badass
Loki is not dead. He turned into an invisible serpent while having its double-self crushed by thanos. Loki is still there. Have faith ;) (Hela, Thor, Loki, etc... are way above thanos. Way above.)
Junie's So Conceieted Yes he is 🤗 Don't worry, I think his soul would have gone to Helheim. So unless Ragnarok somehow broke that process (or Thanos also erased half of Hel and got Loki), Thor could quickly go find or maybe rescue him using his new axe.
No one is *EVER* truly dead in the MCU........ *EVER* .... Way too much deus ex machina going on there. They could easily bring back anyone they wanted, at anytime, with a few of the plot devices they have already established. Hence the reason the film didn't have any real emotional stakes.
Looper: Best, Anti-Hero Me: OH PLEASE! THANOS ISN'T A HERO IN ANY SORT OF RIGHT! DID THEY THINK TO MAKE ME PITY HIM BEACUSE HE KILLED GAMORA!? I DON'T THINK SO!
Agreed! Thanos is an abusive psychopath. Between Thanos's revised motivations, the HydraCap storyline, and the fact that Ike Perlmutter is a Trump advisor, I'm beginning to feel very icky about watching Marvel.
My 3 favorite scenes involved Cap. 1) When he appeared behind the moving train and caught Proxima Midnights spear. 2) When he and Black Panther out paced the other warriors on their way to battle the outsider army. 3) And when he replied "I am Steve Rogers" to Groot.
How to make a Looper video: make the thumbnail of a video a close up of a characters' face, and Capitalize Every Word In The Title So That The Video Seems Professional.
People are idiots for blaming Quill Have you guys watched GOTG? Did you know he was abducted when he was a kid? Did you know he lost his mother? Did you know his real father wanted to eat him? Did you know his real father wanted to kill him? Did you know Yondu died? Did you know when Yondu died he sacrificed himself to save Quill? Quill has been in such a rough journey and that losing Gamora was such devastating. Yeah it is Thanos, the strongest being. But Quill lost every bit of himself as well.
Did anyone else notice that in the inifinity war trailer, hulk is running with them in wakanda but in the movie hulk is in the hulk buster running with them
Yeah I agree with Loki dying in one of the first scene in the movie (i am so sad he was my FAVOURITE character) and i really would have likes to see Bruce and Natasha talk a bit more but overall the movie was amazing
Remember in GOTG 2 when Drax mentioned how big his 'turd' was? well can you imagine Thannos,Hulk and Drax all dropping one in the same bathroom?🤔iknow its strange but the mind does boggle..
Dr. Strange was great, Thor was cool, T'Challa & Cap didn't get enough time or get to show off their Skills(seeing them Run full speed towards the outriders was crazy). Tony & Peter are starting to bore me. Spiderman is Tony's lackey in the MCU he let Star Lord put him in the headlock really? they were given too much time imo, Love Thanos he was cool.
Thanos didn't use the power stone to match Hulk. That was just him. & Loki's death was a great ending for his story arc. He's literally had this coming since Avengers one. He gave an epic speech at the end & died like a boss with no fear. He definitely got into Valhalla.
Yeah, I gotta say that who they decided to kill had less weight. When it comes to Black Panther, I wouldn’t have killed him, but his top bodyguard lady. I mean, you’d still feel the loss and if you ask me seems more believable. I would’ve said that Stark should’ve died, but he never had that moment with Rogers so never mind. There’s no way that ALL the Guardians except Rocket are dead. If you ask me, they should’ve just let Gamora die and that be it. Let the team suffer and feel that weight. I wouldn’t have killed Scarlet Witch (who I’m PRETTY sure died) AND Vision. With Vision dead, we gotta see Scarlet Witch mourn for a VERY long time even after the movie. By the next movie she could be in a deep depression. Eh, but those are just my thoughts.
"Villains have never been the mcu strongsuit" really. Look again... here are some of the good ones. We have killmonger, vulture, Tony starks old boss(iron man 1), red skull, winter soldier, ego... am I missing any more? But yeah my point is, some of these movies got me excited for the very reason to see the villains. Whether they were good or bad is another story. *cough* whiplash.
Also, Cap and his group got less meat to their story because MORE of them survive the end, so we'll see more of them in Avengers 4 right off the bat. Out of Tony's party it's just him and Nebula left alive, so it makes sense we see a lot of them in this one before they're offed. Cap still has Thor, Hulk, Rocket, Black Widow, War Machine, most of Black Panther's buds and family, Wong is probably still alive on Earth too.
Was the perfect penultimate film for the MCU....no fucking around....straight to it...cast was amazing, story flowed seamlessly, great mix of humour and emotion, kept my attention throughout....they could of made it 4 hours and I would have still be itching for more!!!!!.....Great job, can’t wait for the main course!!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
What were your best and worst parts of Infinity War?
Best: iron spider’s tentacles come out
Worst: Spider-Man’s death/DISAPEARS
best:dr strange vs thanos
worst: ppl's death
I totally hated the whole movie. The story development in the MCU just became worse with every movie, and Infinity War is truely the finish of a storyline that started great but became more and more shit over the time.
Looper the power inconsistency sometimes the black order could beat doctor strange but captain amarica could nearly beat them
Why didn't *Drax* used his ability of being *Invisible*
*Why is Drax*
😂
XD lol
He did...you didn't see it
I'am Lvis didn't learn from cena
The worst part abt the movie?
TOO SHORT
It's 2 and a half hours long. And were gonna get a part 2 next year which should also be 2 and a half hours long. I think the movie isn't short at all.
more tune hell yeah
I wish they had an intermission so it would have been the entire movie isntead of two parts, but you know.. profits.
John Marston well it is understandable because of the time it would take to make a 4 hour movie while doing all the other films then trying to fit that film in various theatres when they have other movies to show is near impossible. Also do you really wanna sit in a theatres with some dickheads feet practically on your head for a full 4 hours?
Joseph Sabourin
It's pretty much to increase profits, man.
Loki died in such a weak way for such a strong character
There's always a bigger dog...
RIP Loki
but knowing his character he wouldn't go down that easily and he faked his death again probably to try to take control of earth again like he did when he faked his death by that dark elf and then pretended to be a guard to get back to Asgard and then he managed to overpower Odin and take his power and then imprison him on Earth while he pretended to be Odin I think he could be trying to gain control of earth but I think he knows that would be stupid and he wouldn't do that
Loki, gone but not forgotten... Always in our hearts. Rest In Peace my love.
Already seen, thank you :D
"Why is Gamora"
Drax
His end was the saddest for me. I know they all were gut wrenching but the way Drax says "Quill..." so worried and afraid makes me not hate Starlord like most do.
Too bad he jobbed to Thanos
I'm pretty sure I'm invisible
I don’t really have an issue with Elizabeth’s accent especially considering that Infinity War takes place 2-3 years after Civil War. Wanda’s been out of Sokovia and surrounded by Americans for a few years. It’s only natural that her accent would start to change. I have no idea wether this was deliberate or not but it works in this context.
It's BeeRay exactly
I didn't even notice her changing accents back and forth throughout the movie. It's probably more noticeable for native english speakers
Agreed. I would sometimes speak in perfect American English, and sometimes in perfect British English, and sometimes scrambled Chingrish without noticing myself. My American and British friends notice that and would ask me to rephrase, then I knew to pronounce differently again.
It's BeeRay yeah seriously, A. who even noticed this? B. WHY DOES IT MATTER AT ALL?
+James Edward couldn't have said it better. And I %100 agree that Loki should not have died in that manner.
Where's GAMORA?
WHO'S GAMORA??
....WHYS GAMORA!!?!?!?!
its not funny anymore
Viny Ziks yes it is, it'll always be funny
I don’t get it
Mapalo wood Did you even watch it
I found the scene with drax standing still to be funnier imo
Wong - “Y’all bout to fight Thanos? That’s crazyyyyy … y’all be safe”
Dragon Ball Black lmaoooo he was like fuck all that
Dragon Ball Black and what he can do to Thanos anyway at least he can prevent Dormamu get out from dark dimension by protecting the sanctuar
He was like...”peace”
Dragon Ball Black
Wong : Oh, they're gonna fight Thanos..
Wong : *looks for a reason to not join the war*
Wong : The sanctum is un-guarded, for now I shall be the guardian of it... Good luck...
..engage alllllllllllllllll defenses!!
It is giving the writers to mu check credit. Her accent was terrible so they finally dropped it
llcruize What are you basing that on? How do you know Olsen was the one who made the decision?
Seeing that ultimately it is up to the actor, I don't see who else but her would have made the decision not to do it. It will be interesting to see if anyone actually asks her about it, then we should get a definitive answer.
llcruize I'd be interested to hear how they respond as well. I don't think dropping the accent made much of a difference for me. I noticed it a couple of times while watching the film. I would have preferred it if they kept hough, at least in some part for the sake of continuity and realistic accent development. In any case, I think Olsen's performance all in all was great!
I could CLEARLY see Peter Dinklage as a GIANT in Infinity War, what are you talking about???!!! !
THE DUDE after his role in xmen, they should have choose someone else
This clown doesn't know what he's talking about 90% of the time.
i guess they needed someone with the body of a dwarf, the proportions are different. i think he is kinda spacedwarf, meaning he has the proportions of a dwarf but is bigger than normal people
Yep especially in beginning where he attacks them.
thank you. they showed a crystal clear shot of peter walking with Thor groot and rocket. very easy to see he was a giant
I mean come on, we all wanted Loki to work with the Avengers!
He'll finally resolve his issues with Tony.
soil80 well to let us know AI is not going to rule the world they love humans as we love AI
"I Aaaaaammmmm Grooooottt!"
*"I am Steve Rodgers"*
"We haven't met yet. I'm Peter."
"Doctor Strange."
"Oh, we are using our made-up names. Then I'm Spider-Man."
*whys gAmoRa*
I am Steve Rogers
Pro Effect that was one of my favorite parts of the movie
Lets talk some negatives I personally found in this film:(JUST MY OPINION)
1-Black Order were shamefully nerfed and underwhelming, I know they can’t be comic strong but atleast they could have given a more challenge.
MaserOfficial and Thor's putting his eye back scene was childish
MaserOfficial i
MaserOfficial oh gosh are you me? These were the same problems i had with Infinity war wtf
I think that the movie for the soul stone it's gonna be the next one, Avengers IV
The wakandan plot wasn’t incredibly rushed but maybe it could have been better, but the first quarter and last quarter of that was fucking amazing, and even the inbetween bits like Thor and Rocket+Bucky teaming up were incredible like 90% of that plot was incredible.
Loki has mad power and yet didn't use them to fight thanos
Connor agree. Its so unlike him the way he died. Ah well
all he did was summon a blade which is nothing
Connor What other powers could he possibly use against Thanos (who already has the Power Stone in the Infinity Gauntlet)? Or even the Black Order?
Loki isn’t that powerful to begin with..
Connor I hope he's still alive ;~;
Velvety He isn't.Thanos killed him.He was like the second character to die.
Loki death is worst thing he's the best villian before Thanos and he is what helps make thors movies great.
Chris Gibson Completely agreed
LazaiPai Thank you. There’s way to many people who think he should live just because he’s a great character. It made sense for him to die.
Scarlet and Elizabeth do a great job of bringing their characters to life and I never forget they are not American.
well said sirs
Sweet Jesus, srsly?
Although you're right that wasn't the reason her accent changed
She doesnt sound scottish trust me.
Since Odin was busy teaching Thor how to be king Frigga had pity for Loki and taught him her magical powers- like:
•Astral Projection
• Flight
•Illusion Casting
•Energy Blasts
• Inter-dimensional teleportation
•Shapeshifting
•Telepathy
These were taught to him by his mother, according to Norse mythology and the Comics, while he inherited Frost Giants abilities such as
•Superhuman strength
•Durability (power to withstand damage)
•Longevity
Now the reason Loki doesn’t look like a Frost Giant (who have grey skin, red eyes, and are at least 20 feet tall) is because his mother had cast spells for him to alter his appearance to the eye, doing something to make him use his shapeshifting ability without him knowing it.
(Proxima Midnight, Black Dwarf, The Ebony Maw, Supergiant)
Now in previous films Loki has shown to be smarter than that, even in Avengers when in theory he had convinced Thanos and the Avengers to do things a certain way so the Avengers would win and take him back to Asgard(where he would plan to take over until his mother had died giving him rage and soon forcing him to fake his death)
So, I’m theory Loki wouldn’t have died because these things would’ve happened if he really DID die,
•He would’ve been turned back into his true Frost Giant form
• He would’ve had to be killed by the Infinity Stones themselves, as they were a magical force
So- another thing that happened to prove this point is when he died in Thor: The Dark World, he had been stabbed through his torso with a Dark Elf blade, but he had managed to perform a few spells to physically fake his death.
Heat.
AudreyPerson i just have to say that now..
I love you for this comment
loki needs to stay dead and so does gamora
Hulk already had met his match: Thor.
Thor would easily beat Hulk every time if he even used his magic once.
Yeah true if Thor knock hulk as quick as possible cuz no one wanna fight hulk when he have unlimited power / fight for hours or weeks. That why thanos take out hulk quicks, even this he not afraid of the hulk but that doesn't mean he wanna fight him.
True but Hulk really believed he won that match, and that's all he really cares about. Now he actually *knows* he's met his match.
When the planet hulk story line thor was useless practically every one was useless except doctor strange and more magically powered beings
Prophet Mason and who told you we’re talking about a single movie?
MCU Hulk is not that strong. Thanos stomped him when he had one stone, Hulkbuster Iron Man beat him in Age of Ultron and Thor would have kicked his ass in both Avengers and Thor:Ragnarok. In fact, Iron Man did better against Thanos than Hulk did and was actually able to wound him slightly.
WHY IS LOOPER?
How is Looper?
Its bad
Yes it is, very bad. But the only reason many of us ever come here is to mock, point and laugh, so it's so bad it's good. I do worry about the people who need SOOOO much about movies based on comic books explained to them. Wow. I hope none of them drive.Or live anywhere but their moms' basements.
Anything Looper isn't bad tho👌....
Anything i mean...isn't that bad!
Lokis death was filmed so bad... it was such a shame :(
i can't wait for the sequel
Gautham haressh i cant wait for 2019
Yes you can. For a year.
I hope that they bring back Loki. LOKI!!!!!!TT
Well, even if he actually is dead, they should've given him a better death scene.
@@novv_mh and he also would not get killed so easily and he's a god and God's can't die except other gods fight them
Best part of infinity war
Groot: I am Groot!
Captain America: I am Steve!😂
*Rogers ;)
Worst is Star Lord's decision to hit Thanos before taking the glove off. It was just somewhat out of character.
NET Alliance no just no
NET Alliance well he was emotional when ego killed his mother so that's not surprising
Quills decision there was literally just to drive the plot forward.
J and L Gaming but did Dr Strange tell him that he had to do that shit?
that was just to move the plot he had no reason to do it even if it was emotional
I love Loki 💚 and I hated his death..it was too quick. I love that he couldn't let Thor die because he really did love him.
I saw this film yesterday. I loved it alot. But the trailers didn't match up with the film. Trailer shows Cap and hulk etc running into battle...not in the film...other things also but I so wanted to see hulk burst out out of hulkbuster armour like it teased.
Derek Copland It never teased Hulk coming out of the Hulkbuster though...
Cam kinda did with the editing. Hulkbuster overcome by those creatures and then straight to banners face almost hulking out. Dunno why they show the hulk charging into battle with widow cap bucky and t'chala in the trailer.
maybe the scene is from avengers 4.Why would they bother to CG hulk in one scene?
Marvel seem to do that a lot recently. In Thor Ragnarok's trailer for example, in the scene where Hela destroyed Mjolnir, they were surrounded by buildings but in the movie they were in a cliff.
Derek Copland they do it to throw you off bc they realize the audience isn't stupid. They want to subvert your expectations so that the movie isn't shown in the previews
hulks role in the movie was a letdown but thats the only thing i didnt like.
its all symbolic though showing the petulance of the character, if he is scared of thanos who the hell can defeat him? He will redeem himself in the next one and it was quite nice seeing puny banner have some screen time in a fight
The bad thing about hulk in the MCU is that he can’t really have any more solo films since Disney and Universal would have to work up some kind of contract deal. So to get around it, Disney has to make his character develop in other characters movies. Yeah, kinda sucks we didn’t get Hulk smashing some aliens in the Wakanda invasion, but from the character development side, what better time to NOT be able to become the Hulk when people needed him most? At least that’s how I look at it
I loved it actually. Hulk being so afraid after losing was something I really enjoyed :D
I actually did like it. Cause they let us see that Bruce Banner is a hero too. It's not only the green monster, under that is a genius man who can also fight.
Rock Universe Gaming yet your pfp is thanos with all 6 infinity stones
Mark my words.. Loki is still alive!!!
This film is near to perfection
Fangirl alert
Christopher Nolan's movies are to perfection. So was Iron Man 1 in my opinion😊👌
I mean that has been rly good, but i know it isnt for a Oscar ;)
xTALPAx What movie?
It's really not.
Great movie but worse part is killing Loki bring him back
What if Loki hid when hulk and Thanos were fighting, allowed an ILLUSION of himself to be killed by Thanos, saying: "you will never be a god" as a reference to Loki's own immortality, then after Thanos was gone, what if the real Loki escaped with Korg and Valkyre??
Been waiting for that Scarlett witch accent problem to be mentioned 😂
Rahul Rathod Elizabeth Olsen's natural accent is better than the contrived sokovian accent scarlet witch never had in X-Men comics
Yeah, that did caught me off guard.
i think it's okay. she has been living out of sokovia for a long time. she can get used to new accents with the new people she's talking with everyday, especially vision. most people are like that. also, people do tend to go back and forth their accents because of emotion. a lot of people do that too.
Jeb Atman they were born in Eastern European countries but in television their accents weren't as thick Eastern European as it was in age of Ultron
I found it odd that when Loki "died" that he didn't revert to frost giant blue.
And honestly the characters just kind of felt.. meh to me. Maybe because of how the writing was for this movie.
mimisuek And like you said and I feel you on that most of the characters were boring to me. It just felt like the movie drugged out too long.
mimisuek I agree on every level. Is like Tom's Loki stole the spotlight and Kevin Fiege wanted him gone
Loki shouldnt have to die
I agree
the only real thing I noticed was how empty the world felt.
And what the makers do - they come out this easy, unsatisfying way to kill these characters..
why even bother giving earth humans fake accents when every space alien speaks perfect English
Honestly, there is no worst about Infinity War.
You must probably still be in the hype feeling after watching the film. Relax and think about it I’m sure you can find negatives. The films positives outweighs the negatives by a mile but some negatives do stand out.
MaserOfficial There are some meh moments for sure, but there is a big difference between "Meh" and "Worst" to me.
Except for them making me watch Spider-Man and Dr Strange turn to ashes
The ImmoralCookie yes he did, it added some actual threat to the plot, it was a suiting end to hus character plot.
Charlie Shin dear lord, I never understand how people love such clichéd writing tropes. Just drags the movie as a whole done.
Juga jesus i never knew people loved boring ass plots where there is literally no consequences.
FYI, haft is not a word that exists in the English language. It's "have to", not "haft to"! But I do agree that they shouldn't have taken Loki out like that. With any luck he'll make it back with many of the others in A4.
Half of Asgardians still lives. Thor himself said that in the movie and the directors confirmed that Valkyrie lives.
_You can't be a friendly neighborhood spiderman if there's no neighborhood_ :D
best: Loki on the big screen!
worst: Loki trying to defeat the purple grape with a freaking butter knife.
(best: Loki's speech before he does so)
(worst: seeing his eyes roll and the grape dropping his lifeless body)
When Thor arrived in wakanda, the led zeppelin song should’ve played
But there was no ice and snow in Wakanda!
That would’ve broke the feeling and pace of the scene. That was Thor’s scene, sure, but it wouldn’t have felt right in the movie as a whole.
Nah, the Avengers theme was perfect for that moment.
James no
I 100% agree about Loki. He was one of my favorite characters in the MCU, and had one of the best character arcs. I was very upset about that scene, not so much because he died but because he deserved a way better ending. It was quick and unsatisfying.
They did my boy Hulk so dirty in this movie
Instantaneous Sanic here’s hoping they redeem him in the sequel. He’s treated like an absolute joke and a benchmark for strength. If something beats hulk then it must be strong. First hulk buster, then Thor then thanos. At least let him win something
Now you understand how Loki-fans feel about 'Thor: Ragnarok'. Really, they should have left him dead after TDW if they weren't going to use him better than that.
*What I loved about Infinity War*
- Robert Downey Jr. shines the brightest as Tony Stark (Despite everything, he was my favorite part of the entire movie)
- Well-placed, well-timed humor (+ Bruce/Hulk banter)
- Thanos was well-developed
- All action scenes (especially the Battle of Wakanda)
- Spider-Man (nuff said)
- Effective emotional moments (especially with Gamora and Thor)
- Fun character interactions (Peter Parker and Peter Quill, Thor and Rocket, Tony and Strange)
- The ending
- Post-credits scene
*What I hated*
- Loki's death 😭
- Reminding us of Natasha and Bruce's romance (I'm not really into it)
- Teenage Groot (He wasn't that bad at all. I just wished he was either still a baby or grown-up.)
Squidward was awesome
Spidermans ending killed me...😢😢😢
*******
Spider-man: Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good.
Stark: You’re alright.
Spider-man: I don’t know what’s happening.. I don’t want to go.. please.. I don’t want to go. (as he fades away)
Spider-man: Mr.
The Yes Guy i will give you joker lex and maybe zod. we need to define what makes a great villain and focus on what they have been able to bring to tv or the screen. other than the joker and lex i never got emotionally invested in the dc villains. fun topic!
TBH I totally forgot about Wanda's accent. You made me remember Looper.
Is it possible to snap your fingers while wearing a metal gauntlet?
Oh my goodness! This is such a good question! 😂😂
Loki: "Oh shit Thanos already has the fucking power stone and space stone...."
*Guess I'm gonna stab him with a tiny dagger*
I feel like loki didnt really die
1) he is known as the god of mischief.he disappeared in the scene then came back randomly to give the worst sneak attack on thanos? Loki is smarter then that.
2) they wouldnt kill of one of the most loved villain/hero in such a small way. It leaves people unsatisfied. He should go with out with a fight.
3) hes loki... he faked his death many times.
Worse - *’LOKI’S DEATH’* and Wanda and Vision’s relationship
Best - Rocket and Bucky, Steve’s beard.
wandas accent wasnt bad.
3. People thought that they weren't gonna go through with the snap but the MCU proved them wrong so don't start acting like _"Oh, yeah none of the deaths matter trust me I know everything"_ lol
4. Cap didn't need a lot of screen time because he's gonna play a huge role in Avengers 4 next year.
5. Really? You're focusing on her accent? lol, ya know people do slowly lose there accents after a while.
I love how they bring up points that are easily rebuffed but not better ones. We never even find out why is Gamora!
people don't lose their accents I know a couple of Europeans who has lived in California for 10 years and over and still have thick European accents you have no clue what you're talking about, I work with a guy from Wales and he's lived in California for over 10 years and he still sounds like he's straight from Wales.
“Mr.Stark, I don’t feel so good”
Pretty sure someone has already said this, but:
Tony: "He means get lost, squidward!"
Loki
Erik Killmonger
Thanos
Three memorable villains
Anything
Vulture
Hela
Random Guy
I rate them second
Angel Yair Guzman are we a comment away from saying whiplash?
if Loki really is a goner, we can’t help but wish he’d gone out a little different...
CDG710 you would imagine you know since thanos has hulk as his pet in the comics... hulk is an average human to thanos even without a infinity stone
iTz TRC depends on the writer, worldbreaker hulk I imagine wouldn’t be a pet
Way above.)
Loki is not dead
Junie's So Conceieted Yes he is 🤗
Don't worry, I think his soul would have gone to Helheim. So unless Ragnarok somehow broke that process (or Thanos also erased half of Hel and got Loki), Thor could quickly go find or maybe rescue him using his new axe.
He got assfucked, hes not coming back
He was in the cast list of avengers 4
No one is *EVER* truly dead in the MCU........ *EVER* .... Way too much deus ex machina going on there. They could easily bring back anyone they wanted, at anytime, with a few of the plot devices they have already established. Hence the reason the film didn't have any real emotional stakes.
He’s probably dead. It ties up his redemption arc perfectly that was set up in the last 2 Thor movies
Looper: Best, Anti-Hero
Me: OH PLEASE!
Best scene? “Bring me Thanos!!!”
Then, be very careful not to include any content that has been posted less than 50 times in the videos directly preceding it.
dorothy b 😂
People are idiots for blaming Quill
Have you guys watched GOTG?
Did you know he was abducted when he was a kid?
Did you know he lost his mother?
Did you know his real father wanted to eat him?
Did you know his real father wanted to kill him?
Did you know Yondu died?
Did you know when Yondu died he sacrificed himself to save Quill?
Quill has been in such a rough journey and that losing Gamora was such devastating.
Yeah it is Thanos, the strongest being. But Quill lost every bit of himself as well.
Did anyone else notice that in the inifinity war trailer, hulk is running with them in wakanda but in the movie hulk is in the hulk buster running with them
SMARTON FILMS everyone noticed, you’re not special
CDG710 awwww i thought i was😂😂😂
lol
They did it on purpose.
Yeah I agree with Loki dying in one of the first scene in the movie (i am so sad he was my FAVOURITE character) and i really would have likes to see Bruce and Natasha talk a bit more but overall the movie was amazing
I will not believe Loki is dead...nope...NAHA
I love it that Drax had a superpower all the time but didnt show it! ^^ Easily the best CGI I've ever seen!!!
I really disliked Star-Lord punching Thanos.
Rein Jordi he was a twat and i was so pissed off
Danielle Hyde It had to happen for the plot to continue
ik but ugh it just defines the character cos how they react, plot aside it's a 'character's choice'
Yea Star Lord putting Pete in headlock was pretty lame considering how strong peter is. and he could use those spider legs to fend him off.
Sathees Kanikai exactly
He had blaster aimed to his head as strong as Peter is a alien blaster blast to the head will kill him
Me: If they touch a single hair on my peter parkers head I'm suing
Me after seeing the movie: Ok I guess I'm suing
Thor was my favorite character in infinity war.😀
5 good things and 5 bad things?! PERFECTLY BALANCED...
It’s a rabbit, not raccoon.
If Ben Simmons can lose his Australian accent in 2-3 years why can't Scarlet Witch?
WHY IS GAMORA?
You know a movie is good when 3hrs. fly by. Loved it
Well my favorite hero is black panther then he died
Thanos didn't use the power stone to match Hulk. That was just him. & Loki's death was a great ending for his story arc. He's literally had this coming since Avengers one. He gave an epic speech at the end & died like a boss with no fear. He definitely got into Valhalla.
Worst part: the ending
Best part: the ending
Not typically I huge fan of your videos, but this one was very well done and easy to agree with.
Y’all are really milking this movie
They were good performances, but most didn’t have compelling motivations
Coco Z Justin hammer
BABY RG3 he is still alive... maybe a return???
Vulture isn't MCU
jrzj homecoming is literally in the MCU what are you talking about
Recently Marvel has been creating terrific villains, especially people like Vulture, so it's no surprise that they're continuing this.
I think in avengers 4 they (the heros) will get the gaunlet and revive the heros
YES OMG IM SOOO GLAD you mentioned Scarlett Witches accent!!! That annoyed me SOOOOO MUCH THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE FILM
Captain Marvel.
