Thanos tormented Thor on so many levels. As a king, he watched half his people get slaughtered and couldn't save them. In the end, He made a very emotional choice and later upon realizing that he had possibly made the biggest mistake of his life, he was speechless and stood with his head down in remorse.

Jane Foster was actually brought back by Thor and Odin by using the storm,(I do not remember its name) that was a part of creation, held inside of Mjolnir to bring Jane back from the dead. Only a small pebble is what remains of Mjolnir and Jane gifted it to Thor. Personally I hated Jane Foster as Thor but her sacrifice redeemed it as it was fairly good story telling. Hopefully Thor can become worthy again and take back the mantle that is rightfully his.
By the way... that TV Hulk was the great Lou Ferigno, and there was no such thing as CGI back then. All they could give him was a coat of green makeup, a wig, and contact lenses --the rest was all Ferigno's incredible physique as one of the era's greatest bodybuilders. Those muscles are 100% real.
