Fuck, no Conduit 2? That is easily a top 10 Wii game, and the best Wii fps of all time (almost as good as Metroid Prime 3.) Would love a Switch port with gyro controls, as well as a 3rd game to finish the story.
Twilight Princess to as it needs to be on every console made and Mario galaxy two was planed but canned because there wasn't a NVIDIA Sheils version like galaxy one had and it would have to be a port not a emulated version like the other three
Donkey Kong Country Returns would be my top pick. Ever since Tropical Freeze it's been a pretty slept on game. Both of them are great, I just want to see Returns get the credit it deserves.
Imo Returns was a good return to form for the series, but overall just felt like a modern retread of DKC1 and the levels didn’t really stand out that much in terms of their themes and settings. I enjoyed playing it, don’t get me wrong, but unlike Tropical Freeze it didn’t really have any staying power for me.
Muramasa the Demon Blade is probably my favorite game that wasn't on this list. You mentioned a lot of great ones, like MadWorld and Tatsunoko vs Capcom. And then there's all the great WiiWare that you did a separate video on.
I'm so glad the list mentions the Last Story. I wish more people could experience this gem with its silly elements like banana peel arrows and slippable lemons together with an actual pleasant story.

I remember my dad playing a game called Zak and Wiki's Pirate Treasure or something like that. That would be a perfect port. Can utilize touch or pointer. Art style and puzzles are amazing.
One of the go to games to show how amazing motion controls could be on the Wii when properly implemented. It's also one of the best classic adventure games ever made.
There was also Elebits for the Nintendo Wii and its sequel, which I believe only got sales in New York primarily I believe. I could be wrong, but I did not even look up where it was even sold online. It was mentioned inside of Nintendo Power Magazine, which is primarily targeted towards states that sell magazines by the newstand.
There is also mini desktop racing for the wii. The game literally is a car racing on desk surround by household items being shown in the real size comparison to the height of the car. We had a copy legitimately obtained somehow, brought it down to school to avoid being sued for it; and we still have not gotten it back yet.
Definitely agreed on Galaxy 2. I don't understand why it was part of the 3D All-Star collection. It has to come on the Switch at some point. Also agreed on Wario Land: Shake It & Wii Sports. But I am surprised you didn't mentioned the Metroid Prime Trilogy needed to be on the Switch as well. I know it was already an collection. But they could've at least ported that into the Switch. Especially with Prime 4 coming to the horizon soon.
Kirby's Epic Yarn would be amazing but it needs a classic mode. The powerup's they shoved into the 3DS version really made the level design not work, like at all. If they wanna have the "extra" content as a bonus thing then fine, but if it was based purely on the 3DS version it'd be a hard skip for me even though Epic Yarn is one of my favourite games.
I’ll never forgive Nintendo for not including Mario Galaxy 2. I never grew up with the first one, and the second one was one of my favourite and most nostalgic games ever, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Tatsunoko vs Capcom had such a Dreamcast feel to it, was great. I'm actually surprised Wario Land Shake It wasn't remastered for the Switch already. Maybe they lost the source code?

Capcom if it has all the Cut Content that was left out of the Japanese & US Versions And as an Honorable Mention: I'd say that Kirby's Return to Dreamland deserves to have a Version made for the Nintendo Switch along with Epic Mickey 1&2, Rabbids Go Home, Rhythm Heaven Fever, Captain Rainbow (If Nintendo doesn't have Cold Feet about releasing it in Western Territories), PokéPark 1&2 and a Random Selection of 20 WiiWare Games
The Wii Era was the height of Nintendo and we never knew it at the time. Between the Virtual Console, massive library of games & the innovative controls it was a fun time.

I like looking at all my Wii games sometimes too. Sometimes, when I have a friend over, I bring them to my room and show them all my Wii games. Sometimes my best friends even watch me play with all my Wii games
I would add the game "Opoona". This game is so unique and the soundtrack is made by Hitoshi Sakimoto/Basiscape (FFXII, Odin Sphere, 13 Sentinels, FF Tactics, etc). 😁

Wow! House of the Dead Overkill and Madworld (which in addition to its visual style also had one of the most fun hip hop soundtracks) were not choices I'd expect to have seen on this channel. The only additional one I would have liked to see on the list is Red Steel 2, but I'm not sure if it would be as good with joycons.
Excite bots was so good, it needed you to understand the weight, limits, and coordination of movement with the bot you use, it was artistic and needed skill. I wish it continued as a franchise. The last story was one of the greatest RPGs game play-wise, should have been adopted as a Nintendo franchise. Silent hill was so clever, and the way it intricately studied your behavior was unsettling, especially the analysis in the end, I would like to play it again to see how "I" have changed over the years.
I want Baten Kaitos! Okay, that's not a Wii game... As for Wii games, I'd love to see Zangeki no Reginleiv, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse and Muramasa: The Demon Blade. (Maybe the Vita version for Muramasa since the Vita version has really cool DLC stories.)
This is why I installed the Dolphin Emulator on my phone, and I'm so happy that my phone is a very powerful one. It's the OnePlus 8, and it has 8GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 865 chip. A lot of GameCube and Wii games run at full speed at 720p, some at 1080p. Though I had to install multiple builds like MMJ, MMJR, MOD, and of course the default one on the Google Play store because some games run better on one build, some run better on others.
Just came home from playing Wii with my friend. Wii sports is a classic we still play it all the time. But my all time favourite is Wii Party. It's so much fun, my friend and I have played it millions of time and we're still not tired of it. It's the best game for gathering your friends in your living room and having a fun evening. I wish they did a Wii Party 2 (or Switch Party I guess), but only if it's just as good lol. I think a port would be cool too tho, even though I personally would probably keep playing on my wii.
I would really like to see Epic Mickey have a second chance on Switch. I mean, in a perfect world, it would be a remake where they can realize more of the ideas that were held back because of hardware, but even a remake that boosted movement speed and added better camera control would be amazing!

Every time I hear a noise in my house, I experience a brief moment of excitement, with all of the accompanying physiological changes that come with the feeling (elevated heart-rate, dilated pupils, etc.); all because I’m hopeful that maybe, just maybe, that unidentified house noise is sourced from the narrator of this video sneaking into my house to force a wii game on me. So far, it’s always ended in disappointment.
You guys forget DKC Returns. I would love to see this game come to the switch. They can do a Hyrule Warriors situation and have everything from the Wii version and the 3DS version of the game and make the defenitive edition. The 3DS version added a lot of new content including button controls, an easier new mode, new things to buy in Cranky's shop as well as prices being adjusted, and a new world consisting 8 new levels and the last level from the Wii version. It would be cool seeing this game come to the switch with everything from the 3DS version with the wii visuals and framerate because the 3DS's version only runs at 30fps and it looked a lot more pixelated due to the 3DS's limitations. I would definitely rebuy this game for the switch, I've been wanting to replay this game for a long time. A version with all the content from the 3DS version but polished up to look better running at 1080p 60fps would be great.
Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom on Switch would be a dream come true! I'd also love to see Muramasa the Demon Blade make its way to Switch. That game looked so good and played so well!

I only had around 5 wii games in total. I wasn’t allowed to play video games until a year before the Wii U came out, and two years after I got my wii I got a Wii U (my parents then sold my wii in a garage sale) and I ended up just getting tons of Wii U games and no more wii ones. This list will really help me catch up on the games I missed out on!
After the re release of Maiden of Black Water, I hope Koei Tecmo and Nintendo can also consider bringing the 2 Fatal Frame/Project Zero Wii games to modern consoles, especially since the 4th game never left Japan, the remake of 2 wasn't released in America and we could play the game with a control scheme that makes sense.
Next year is Kirby's 30th, so we need games like Kirby's Return to Dreamland in Celebration. And Need for Speed: Nitro is criminally underrated. Maybe Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, Rodea the Sky Soldier, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, Disney: Epic Mickey, Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and yes, Metroid: Other M.

I agree on some on the list. Mario Galaxy 2, The Last Story, Tatsunoko vs Capcom and Wario I think should be on Switch. I hope Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn gets ported/remastered for Switch as well as Pandora's tower.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 definitely needs to be on the Switch. Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, would love to see a port as well and hopefully include more characters like the Samurai Pizza Cats. I wouldn't mind Super Paper Mario, Epic Mickey (1 + 2), Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Back to the Future: The Game getting Switch ports as well.
I'd like to correct a false statement made in this video. Operation Rainfall did not have any influence on bringing Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower outside of Japan. The whole movement only began AFTER NoE had announced all games for release. So they would have been localized into European languages anyway. The movement only helped American release.

I agree with most of your choices, but I must say the one that I feel is missing (Number 15) is the Metroid Prime Trilogy. Updated with HD visuals, keeping it at 60fps, and reworking controls to give the option between GameCube controls and motion controls for the first two (And maybe the third) a la Skyward Sword HD would be absolutely amazing. Never mind the fact that many people didn't get a chance to play them back in the day, which would make this more accessible on Switch. :P

Muramasa looked great on the Vita and it even got DLC there. It would look even better at higher res and on an OLED screen.

Wii Punch Out is sooo immersive with the balance board!

The last story was one of the greatest RPGs game play-wise, should have been adopted as a Nintendo franchise. Silent hill was so clever, and the way it intricately studied your behavior was unsettling, especially the analysis in the end, I would like to play it again to see how "I" have changed over the years.

It's a great game about climbing a mountain, but it did have wii waggle issues. That would be fixed with a Switch port.

As for Wii games, I'd love to see Zangeki no Reginleiv, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse and Muramasa: The Demon Blade. (Maybe the Vita version for Muramasa since the Vita version has really cool DLC stories.)

Wii Sports was peak. Playing several sports games with your Mii alongside friends and family basically made the Wii generation.
This is why I installed the Dolphin Emulator on my phone, and I'm so happy that my phone is a very powerful one. It's the OnePlus 8, and it has 8GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 865 chip. A lot of GameCube and Wii games run at full speed at 720p, some at 1080p. Though I had to install multiple builds like MMJ, MMJR, MOD, and of course the default one on the Google Play store because some games run better on one build, some run better on others.
Just came home from playing Wii with my friend. Wii sports is a classic we still play it all the time. But my all time favourite is Wii Party. It's so much fun, my friend and I have played it millions of time and we're still not tired of it. It's the best game for gathering your friends in your living room and having a fun evening. I wish they did a Wii Party 2 (or Switch Party I guess), but only if it's just as good lol. I think a port would be cool too tho, even though I personally would probably keep playing on my wii.
I would really like to see Epic Mickey have a second chance on Switch. I mean, in a perfect world, it would be a remake where they can realize more of the ideas that were held back because of hardware, but even a remake that boosted movement speed and added better camera control would be amazing!

Every time I hear a noise in my house, I experience a brief moment of excitement, with all of the accompanying physiological changes that come with the feeling (elevated heart-rate, dilated pupils, etc.); all because I’m hopeful that maybe, just maybe, that unidentified house noise is sourced from the narrator of this video sneaking into my house to force a wii game on me.
So far, it’s always ended in disappointment.

You guys forget DKC Returns. I would love to see this game come to the switch. They can do a Hyrule Warriors situation and have everything from the Wii version and the 3DS version of the game and make the defenitive edition. The 3DS version added a lot of new content including button controls, an easier new mode, new things to buy in Cranky's shop as well as prices being adjusted, and a new world consisting 8 new levels and the last level from the Wii version. It would be cool seeing this game come to the switch with everything from the 3DS version with the wii visuals and framerate because the 3DS's version only runs at 30fps and it looked a lot more pixelated due to the 3DS's limitations. I would definitely rebuy this game for the switch, I've been wanting to replay this game for a long time. A version with all the content from the 3DS version but polished up to look better running at 1080p 60fps would be great.

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom on Switch would be a dream come true! I'd also love to see Muramasa the Demon Blade make its way to Switch. That game looked so good and played so well!

I only had around 5 wii games in total. I wasn’t allowed to play video games until a year before the Wii U came out, and two years after I got my wii I got a Wii U (my parents then sold my wii in a garage sale) and I ended up just getting tons of Wii U games and no more wii ones. This list will really help me catch up on the games I missed out on!
After the re release of Maiden of Black Water, I hope Koei Tecmo and Nintendo can also consider bringing the 2 Fatal Frame/Project Zero Wii games to modern consoles, especially since the 4th game never left Japan, the remake of 2 wasn't released in America and we could play the game with a control scheme that makes sense.

Next year is Kirby's 30th, so we need games like Kirby's Return to Dreamland in Celebration. And Need for Speed: Nitro is criminally underrated. Maybe Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, Rodea the Sky Soldier, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, Disney: Epic Mickey, Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and yes, Metroid: Other M.

I agree on some on the list. Mario Galaxy 2, The Last Story, Tatsunoko vs Capcom and Wario I think should be on Switch. I hope Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn gets ported/remastered for Switch as well as Pandora's tower.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 definitely needs to be on the Switch. Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, would love to see a port as well and hopefully include more characters like the Samurai Pizza Cats. I wouldn't mind Super Paper Mario, Epic Mickey (1 + 2), Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Back to the Future: The Game getting Switch ports as well.

I'd like to correct a false statement made in this video. Operation Rainfall did not have any influence on bringing Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower outside of Japan. The whole movement only began AFTER NoE had announced all games for release. So they would have been localized into European languages anyway. The movement only helped American release.
They were out in Australia before operation rainfall. I had the collectors edition of Xenoblade before all of it started.

We've got most of the NES, SNES, Wii U, and now N64 first party libraries on the Switch now. That just leaves this weird middle ground of GCN and Wii games that still need to be ported/remade.

I agree with most of your choices, but I must say the one that I feel is missing (Number 15) is the Metroid Prime Trilogy. Updated with HD visuals, keeping it at 60fps, and reworking controls to give the option between GameCube controls and motion controls for the first two (And maybe the third) a la Skyward Sword HD would be absolutely amazing. Never mind the fact that many people didn't get a chance to play them back in the day, which would make this more accessible on Switch. :P
