I agree but sometimes there’s good reason for not sharing too many details. People might start picking apart the judges decisions and accusing them of being biased towards certain countries, styles, beatboxers they know personally etc. I really hope that doesn’t happen because I think the Beatbox community is above that, but I’ve seen it happen before.

Yeaa so there’s no mistake in this part, but the reason I bring it up is because it’s a risk to place the deconstructed pattern right at the key moment, it has to make sense instantly live and follow an understandable flow, for me the deconstruction was pretty sudden so I couldn’t feel it how he understands it. Basically i feel it didn’t translate how he wanted it to. Watching back in video it’s a masterpiece though! And it’s also probably no difference with his overall ranking :)

I think that break you mentioned is Hiss did On Purpose , which was a small lay back( tempo break) created for the next drop (so that's not a minus move)

Colaps vs Zekka: They are both in my top 5 favorite bbxrs at the moment. I was for Colaps, honestly, cuz I felt like he have to take it this year. He amazed me In GBB 2019 against D-low, for me it was definitely the best battle in 2019, he did really strong rounds, that's why I couldn't even decide between him and Dan. I also love Zekka's style, I really glad to see him elevating his beatbox by his own unique ideas and methods. Btw his elemination in 2019 was my favorite. This battle gave me huge amount of emotions, I know it could go either way, but I personally could've vote for Zekka. For me he was a bit closer to win, it could be a great final tbh. I guess this battle is my favorite in GBB 2021 Alexinho vs Footbox I knew how strong and SMART Alex is, so I was expecting from him some nice jokes and counters, combinated with beatboxing. He was one of the strongest this year, so I was no doubt it would be difficult to beat him. Footbox G is mister clean, I love his routines and special sounds, he's also very strong and deserves more awards. Both did really great job, it was fire. I couldn't decide which side would I go, but I was pretty sure that judges would vote for Alex, cus he did amazing counter, he was playing with polly rhythmes, some funny moments as well. And I was surprised so much when they voted 5:0 to Footbox. At the same time I was happy for him and sad, that I won't see Alexinho's rounds anymore😭. I was crying cuz of all that emotions went to my soul simultaneously. Footbox vs River was one of the closest battles too. I couldn't decide again, but based on past experience (Footbox vs Alex), I thought Footbox is gonna take it, but once again, I wasn't right. So this was an other surprise for me😂 Anyways I wasn't disappointed, I was in happy tears several times during GBB this year. Big ups to Swissbeatbox and all beatbox community!
