Ford.... you've been doing this for awhile. Who's the genius who decided putting the anchor for the 2nd row, middle seat, in a 2017 Ford Explorer, down so close to the floor?? It's basically impossible to install the seat and the shoulder belt is useless alone. The carseat is so loose using only it, and I refuse to put my rear facing child next to a door. That's just stupid. I'm pretty disappointed because this vehicle latch system is pointless when you can't use it properly.
Why don't you show with the lower anchor points look like. They are not evident on all vehicles.
great info but i need to install rear facing car seat, i don't think i would connect to the back of the headrest area,.
You should show how this works in the F150 since it's different for the upper latch.
