Catherine really wanted people to know that she appreciated them. It would have been nice if Prince William and the kids had stayed but I think they are still overwhelmed by the crowds. But Catherine stayed and REALLY said hello to sooooo many people. I think that meant a lot to so many. She looked really good and the people there were just loving it!!!

But we can also see George is being prepared for his ascension one day and he really is such doppelganger of a young William in so many ways.

People like Princess Anne, and Sophie Wessex, are outstandingly hardworking, loyal, and have spent many decades in the faithful service of the Crown. They are also very well loved. It is reasonable to admire Catherine, but not by ignoring the huge contribution of others, particularly those who've picked up the slack for William and Catherine for all the years they were raising their children, and throughout Catherine's illness.
I was looking at Prince William thinking I wish he could be King while he is still so tall and handsome. They all seem so nice in the way they treat those waiting to extend greetings. I do so wish King Charles would abdicate.

Nice to see that Peter’s daughters , Savannah and Isla were able to join again this year. The Wales children are just adorable, and Charlotte greets the crowds like her mother does. And Catherine! She took the time to chat with as many people as she possibly could. She seems like such a genuinely lovely lady. 😊

@@jud2152 I wasn’t laughing at the statements at all. It was the truth of what you said. Louis was more than ready for the gifts. His Dad made a comment in the video “ ..it’s too easy” or words to that effect. It was easy to get him to speak to the spectators by offering chocolate.
