honeys is for anti bacterial where cinnamon is anti fungal, naturally, the rooting hormone is a hormone that the plant uses to cilice the wound and then generate new cells that can produce roots.
Wow I didn’t know it was possible from the stem.. I was getting the seeds out of my seeded grapes and trying it that way. I’ll def. try this out! Great vid!
Hey, why dont you just try it? Not hard and get your own ? answered. Also, try doing 3 or 4 stems instead of just one. In nature, not all will take roots:)
Honey is a good rooting hormone to use if you don't have any or cant get any(or even in addition to actual rooting hormone) and Cinnamon helps prevent rot and fungus growth
@@taylorreptar7898 Hi. Should both cinnamon and honey be used and in what order and how much cinnamon? There is a fella that does 30 second clips on youtube. He has mentioned to put honey on a dying long stimmed rose to be part of the process in growing a plant. This is only the 2nd video that I have seen that mentions it. I am old but willing to learn. I have some stems, and a little bit of seed from seedless red grapes. I'd love to be able to grow some. Thank you for helping me, if you have the time.🍇This is Mrs. Ace X, in Florida.
@@mailemoore5017 thank you I have seedless Mars and seedless Himrod grapes 🍇 growing but not very fast and this will be the third year! But there not growing very fast, but I have Sand for dirt that is all I have here where I live, and I love 🍇 grapes one is purple I prefer concord or globe grapes the black colored as well as riber but can’t find those plants I like the sweet eating or table grapes 🍇 🤠👴🏡❤️🦌✝️💒
I think you could tissue culture a plant out of this, if you had the proper setup and knew how. I don't know how to do that but have been reading up on it a bit and might give it a try in the future.
What a FUN VIDEO! I love propagating any plant 🌱 from cuttings, but your video was just plain FUN TO WATCH! Nothing like NOT talking stuff too seriously! BTW: I’ve used all 3 rooting propagating methods. I actually think, they don’t necessarily work all that well. I still do use hormone stuff & try not to dirty it up too much. GOT 🍎 🍇 🍉 ? 😂
Stem is too thin. it is not possible. you need a older thicker brand. just in case anyone is wondering. Someone also release a video that supports my thoughts
Tiegrsi Designs and Studio the purpose of the cinnamon and honey is an alternative if you don’t have rooting hormone, cinnamon kills bacteria while promoting root growth, while honey is a nutrient filled substitute. But any of the 3 work!
@@justinwessels624 oh so we dont have to use the ready made poison? i guess ill remove my thumb down.. can we use cinnamon to help grow other plants this way if need be?
Mike Greene yes you can use cinnamon as a safe alternative! Cinnamon is preferred to prevent greater chances of infection and yes it works with all other plants as far as I know!
I am the creator of this video! Sadly TH-cam mistakingly deleted this TH-cam account I made believing I spammed account thus I did not...yes the cutting have grown, and they are growing faster than I expected!

Am I holding my mouth wrong? I have tried this so many times, with 0% success, that is frustrating. Sooner or later, even a blind squirrel finds a nut. Well, except for rooting grapes.
Is there a Follow-Up video of either Success or Failure of this procedure? Hope so, it’s way better if we can see results either way.
No its fake, can't grow grape vines from the fruit, there is no root, just mote fake video on youtube
What was the honey and cinnamon for????????
Optional either one works for rooting and helping prevent rot
They all have rooting hormones.
This channels' "Gardening Basics" is SO Basic..
...it only has this ONE video..😏.
Sometimes, one video is good enough. Why do you need anymore?
Could you provide some updates on the vines ?
So what was the honey and cinnamon for lol?
same thing as the white powder, he just used his preferred one (or the most expensive XDD)
It’s a rooting hormone basically.
honeys is for anti bacterial where cinnamon is anti fungal, naturally, the rooting hormone is a hormone that the plant uses to cilice the wound and then generate new cells that can produce roots.
How did this turn out? Did it grow?
The powder is rooting hormone and the cinnamon and honey works as rooting hormone too
Dude I at least want to see the results? A bit disappointing. Guess I gotta keep looking
Yes. Plz whine & complain elsewhere….

My exact question.

What was the white powder and why was the honey and the third item present in the video?
I think it's rooting hormones.
Thank you. Please keep me posted, since there was no inclusion as to how the other 2 items should be used. @@Karabo_Mash
Honey is a natural rooting hormone. And a good antibacterial. It's what the ancestors used. Neither is absolutely necessary, but helps@@lisagooch3740
Thanks for the method. Interesting.
This will not grow..... As you see a second video of it rooting wasn't posted.... It's BS
thank you!!!
When did U add the honey&w hats up with the spice? Lol
different options for growing without rot and bacteria
Will a seedless grape 🍇 grow this way too, forgive me I am a newbie
It should, since this method is not from seed. If you grow grapes from seed, it can take up to 10 years to get grapes.

Wheres the roots?
There’s no roots, this is just a joke and click bait!
im actually doing this!!! im using a different method than soil. i want the best result. soil is not it.
what is the method you are using, Panda?
Wow zero dislikes! This 100% should work then!
They stopped showing dislikes because a certain someone kept getting ratio’d
What the honey and sinnamon pouder for
honey is a natural root stimulant so if you cant buy the powder you can just use honey also cinnamon is so no fungus grows
