Both Renners and Climb's story could be worked in as part of Nazarick's story, especially if you consider Renner's intellect. It would be a waste not to use her. And where she goes, Climb will be as well. Albedo and Demi would be stupid not to use her as a proxy ruler. Climb under the tutelage of Sebas to make him into a killing machine (to better protect Renners) would be amazing to see.
I don't think she wants to rule, that's not the deal she made. She wants a safe sanctuary for her and Climb where she can do whatever she wants with him and that's in Nazarick. They can still make use of her intellect about the world though.
@@ArchonSG1 Ainz will do what he thinks the guardians would feel is best for Nazarick. That's the kind of person he is. So, forcing a job into someone after promising them their reward is a bad example, so he most likely won't do it. Although, I can see him offering Renner the job and promising another reward instead of just altering the deal or forcing her directly.
@@pepethefrog6809 Yeah, that is a more likely thing Ainz would do, or at the very least butter up the alternative more by promising ways to bind Climb deeper to Renner. Pretty sure she'll jump at that and see the advantage in having power in Ainz service than just one living under his suffrage.
To a leader utilising subordinates well and leading effectively while giving the subordinates the appreciation and trust they desire is the most important thing. More important than extremely high intelligence or military talent - because he has people for that, multiple people who throw plans back and forth between each other to evaluate them. One big Planner would be a problem, but several, with him making the final decision while also giving a clear direction to them, a goal to work towards, is a perfectly normal and reasonable way of leading. Ainz always felt he was not good enough to be guild leader, too, but he was made guild leader instead of more charismatic other members after they failed at that job and he succeeded! He turned a bunch of unpopular character options into an entire games' ultimate end boss scenario that was never conquered even when the game was at its most popular point, when his teammates were a bunch of irregular idiots who chose unpopular and literally evil aligned races (even in the game settings they were evil) to live out fantasies they couldn't in real life - and nobody except him could have prevented them from dissolving into utter chaos with each doing their own thing only. So Ainz is a great leader, just not in the way many characters assume.
Ainz is one of those people who have the talent to manage people. He knows when not to interfere cause his instincts tell him not to and only does so when it bothers him.

So a good director keeps the sum of all the parts in mind, the overall bigger picture, and while listening to their experts makes a *slight* adjustment here and there (if necessary) while still allowing the experts to be the experts of any given part of the production. Example: Ains pulls Demiurge back from just rounding up civilians all Willy-nilly to take back to the tomb and tells him to only use the wicked and those who are actively opposing them. No, she didn't. There is a dialogue in vol 14 where she is basically terrified to the point of shivering whenever she thinks about Ainz, the "sorceror king". She genuinely believes that the reason that he participated in playing the "joker/jester" was because he KNEW she was going to do all of that and basically wanted to show up to demonstrate that he knew all of this all along. That he saw through everything that she was going, and KNEW she wasn't displaying her full potential to him. Therefore, it was basically, in her mind that he was subtlely telling her, "I know you aren't showing me everything that you can do, stop fucking around and devote yourself fully." She also believes that he did this knowing that Albedo would get pissed off, as she herself admits that if someone she cared about was forced to humiliate themselves as Ainz did, she wouldn't be happy at all, and therefore all of the goodwill that she had built up with Albedo after Ainz role played as the "evil overlord" had "dried up", basically, that she was on thin ice.
