@@_Tennille I think it be real for now. Billy created another twisted dimension called “Witches Road” not like Wanda, If witches sing the ballad the door will appear.

Agatha is ghost A LOT in the comics. it has been a really long time for me, but i think after a certain point, 'ghost form' is just a power she develops, the more time she spends as a ghost-she learns how to bend the rules, just like she did when she was alive. that is her character's entire vibe. she learns whatever she needs to in order to move forward [or hide,] to stay alive. and now that she's dead, she has some new rules to bend and some new skills to pick up and add to her witchy toolbox. 😁
My only experience with Agatha, aside from WandaVision, was playing Midnight Suns. She had died prior to the game's events but hid around the manor as a ghost without revealing it to anyone and mentors the Hunter character you play. When she appeared here, I was like, "Oh! @@mostcreative3680 it's basically saying Agatha wasted all those time filling her personal gain instead of spending time with Nicky, that's why she can't face him
Show runners shouldn’t have had to explain that. It was beyond clear that her witch hunting started well before Nicky was born. How else would she know Rio? She killed them because her mom did a number on her. After her own mother and coven turned on her it turned into “the best defense is a good offense” for her. Kill them before they inevitably tried to kill her.
I'm so emotional right now, I just only realised when Nicky says 'my mother needs me home', it wasnt for Agatha, but for Rio... I think in some weird way, he knew it was his time.
Interesting interpretation. I had the same thought that Rio was his other mom, but I didn't think of that line like that. That would be cool if it's true.

This show turning out as good as it did is honestly kinda shocking to me, and it’s got me excited for the MCU’s future output in a way I didn’t see coming at all. Especially listening to Jac Schaeffer talk about making the show, you really get the sense the MCU has internalized some critiques from phase 4 without being a slave to them.

10:50 Sometime around 1693--her coven put her on trial for practicing "the darkest of magic" remember? The penultimate episode explained that Agatha was indentured to Death. That is why she told Death that she would deliver Billy to her if she let her go. Agatha was Death's slave, her vassal in the realm of the living. The question is, when and how did Agatha get in the position she was in? Did she have her own near Death experience and did Death proposition her then to be her agent? Agatha lived as long as she lived because Death allowed it. Another condition of the deal Agatha made with Death was that she'd be allowed to live a very, very long life and that when she did finally die Death wouldn't come see her--we watched Death reluctantly agree to her terms. Agatha didn't just want to be free of Death's hold over her, she didn't want to come to usher her to the Afterlife either. If Death cannot see you in death, your soul is free to remain in the realm of the living. The first episode gave us many hints about Death and her relationship with Agatha. Death couldn't kill Agatha outright because "it's not allowed." Death is bound by the cosmic rules of the universe. During Agatha's trial, we learn that Death is an impatient Grim Reaper. When she tells Agatha that she's "feeling impatient" and that she wants to cause some "real damage" Agatha warns her that she's too early. Another reminder that Death cannot kill someone before his or her time. Death must wait for a person to pass before ushering them to the Afterlife. Back to what we learned in the first episode, Death explains that Agatha hid behind the power of the Darkhold. For a period of undisclosed time, Death could not see Agatha until Wanda took it from her. More importantly, Wanda's spell was too strong for Death to break. Wanda's spell was so powerful that even Agatha could recognize Rio for who she really was. Even if Death wanted to kill Agatha, I don't think she would have. Why would an impatient Grim Reaper kill the one person willing to do her dirty work? Something inside of Agatha snapped after Nicholas' passing. Agatha was overwhelmed with "heartbreak, sorrow, and grief," and she didn't know how to process it, so she did what she had been doing, and took it out on every witch she came across. She was gone, but he was always by her side, in her broach and song. Nicholas' last gift to her, the fable of the Witches' Road, delivered witches to Agatha for centuries. This is why Agatha lets people believe the rumors about her. It was better to believe that she gave her child up for the Darkhold than to know that he lured witches into the lion's den; Nicholas unwittingly helped his mother do her job, delivering bodies to Death. From the time of his birth until his passing, Nicholas made Agatha's job easier, his charm and song made witches everywhere drop their guards. No witch suspected danger from a witch with a newborn or a frail child. I suspect Agatha wanted to punish Death and get revenge for what she had done to her, but was too weak to do anything about it. Which would explain why she hid behind the Darkhold. It wouldn't do for Death to know what she was really up to. Death knew she was after power (she mentions this in the sound booth during Alice's trial), but that was likely just her cover. Agatha likely studied the Darkhold in secret from 1756 to 2023 (WandaVision), looking for the power she needed and it suddenly appeared, Chaos Magic. I think Chaos Magic is a form of Dark Magic that can go toe-to-toe with Death--Death couldn't break Wanda's spell, and in the last episode, the only witch able to hit Death (twice!) was Billy! He, like his mother, wields chaos magic. Chaos Magic, as evidenced by Wanda, could create a world in which Agatha could relive a life with Nicholas! 12:47 Billy is filling Agatha's void. Had Nicholas fully understood what they were doing, I suspect Agatha would have comforted him the same way, telling him that she did the killing, not him. Billy sees himself as a murderer and Agatha assures him that she was going to kill them before they joined them on the road, trying to make him feel better about the whole ordeal. She's accepting the blame for their untimely demise. 14:25 And this brings us back to her deal with Death. She made Death Agree to not see her, so she wouldn't have to go to the Afterlife. She can't bear to spend eternity with her son and the witches she sent there. Yikes! 14:32 That broach means everything to her. 15:22 I hope we see them again. If anything can bring those three back, it's Chaos Magic. 16:40 Yup! Nicholas was a stillborn baby, and Agatha felt her master's presence in an instant. She had such fear on her face in that moment too. Death saw her act as an act of kindness, and it was since no one ever got time with a loved one. But the moment Nicholas lost his taste for killing witches, Death came for him. He had served his purpose. Death also used his death to remind Agatha that she had a job to do and she had better do it or she'd be next. What a finale. I can't wait to see where this goes. Nice reaction =)
Originally the Witches' Road was supposed to be its own thing, a Special Presentation like Werewolf By Night, but they folded it into the show. The scene where she kills her mother and coven was set about 60 years before Nicholas was born. They have a Wiccan series in development now, so we may learn where she got the Darkhold (perhaps before she killed her own coven, maybe after Nicky died)
That was exactly my thought! : I'll rewatch it by Christmas! 😄🎄 lol This series was amazing! I loved it. Lilia's episode made it rewatchable, and the other two didn't let down, but made the series more interesting. This is my favourite Marvel TV thing, now! High rewatchability factor, together with Andor and Star Wars Visions - The Ninth Jedi episode! 😄👍🏻
We have two more spinoffs to finish this story and then Wanda will come back in Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars plus there's a rumored Scarlet Witch movie
I read it carries on in vision quest and we meet Tommy in vision quest and then heard we be getting a Wiccan tv show and I think Wanda might come back in one of them then be in the films. Has if Wanda is dead I think billy will be the one to bring her back.
Sharon Davis (episode 3): *"Oh my God! Bury me in this kitchen!!!"* The Road/Billy's Mind: *"Strange request, but... Sure. You got it."* Sharon Davis to Rio when she comes to collect her body: *"Uhmmm, I didn't mean to **_actually_** bury me."* Rio: "Too late now, Mrs. Hart. Let's go." Sharon Davis: *_sigh_** "It's Shaaarroooon!"* 😂😆😂🤣😅
I still hate that Lillia, Alice and even Sharon died and weren’t somehow saved in the end, and I hate that Billy was indirectly responsible for their deaths, but I do love that he memorialized them and will from now on do his best to never repeat his mistakes and end up like Wanda. Still he managed to save Jennifer Kale and help get her power back.
I thought the last 2 episodes were great and emotional The focus themes on death and you can’t defeat it, I thought it was great and the cast were phenomenal My campaign for Kathryn Hahn to get an Emmy nomination starts now 😅
If MCU plays their cards right, there is a chance that we'll see Jennifer Kale again because, I don't know if you know it but in the comics, there is a witch named Jennifer Kale who is (drum roll, please) Johnny Blaze's cousin! Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider! AND if I remember correctly, she was also a member of the Midnight Sons, like Doctor Strange, Blade, Ghost Rider and even Spiderman's clone and some others. So there are many potentials for her return.
the lemon is just something to bite down on, but there is also quite a bit of witch lore on the lemon, and the various ways and reasons a witch will use them. there are many 'spells' that call for a lemon to banish traumatic energy/negative ties from the PAST [hello, lady Death lol] tho i think the only thing this lemon helped her with, was not breaking her teeth. because Rio was right there lol.
Though it might be possible she created Nicholas from whole cloth, I don’t think so. She said she used no spell (which I interpret to mean magic). It also gives weight to her wanting Wanda’s power so much, since she could conjure her kids and vision. As to who the father is? Mephisto of course 😜
i wonder if the reason agatha's son was supposed to be stillborn was because it was also rio's son and he inherited a bit too much of the death part of his heritage
What if.... Agatha bargained "her first born" for the Darkhold in the 1600's which is why her coven tries to kill her. Then, in 1750, Death comes for her first born and she begs Death for time. Rio knows she has to take him, but doesn't want to. And gives her a few years.
i don't think the witches' road is just one thing, if you factor comic lore and TV lore together. it is a metaphysical plane, like the astral plane. it also a con, to Agatha, hope for Lorna Wu and a solution for Billy. oh, and an irritating mess for Rio. xD the road shapes itself for the witches [or other magical beings] traveling it. it isn't 'fixed' in one state like the real world is. i do like that Billy made his road a circle, tho. that's VERY on brand lol.
So my theory as to why Rio had to take Nicky (and I can be totally wrong unless I missed something in a prior episode) is because Agatha broke the rules (and I think Rio said something to her about that again in a prior ep or I could have misunderstood what she said- is that Agatha broke the rules cause she kinda conjured Nicky using magic and broke the rules. As you noticed Agatha said “you were made from scratch”. Or having him somehow enabled her to get a hold of the darkhold after Nicky was born- cause if you notice I think that was the book she was reading while she was walking with the 6 year old Nicky. But I think she would have know about the consequence. I’m actually unclear how she actually got it unless she alluded to it in the last episode of WandaVision. Again, this is my theory cause we never meet his father and since Nicky’s last name is “Scratch” it again maybe references her using magic to have him and broke the rules. Cause usually in witchcraft- using your magic to make a life or use the power of resurgence to bring someone back has consequences. If you guys have another theory- let me know cause I’m curious :) And the montage scene where they go through time tricking covens with the song was quite epic and I was quite impressed as to the way it was shot :)
do people think the original green witch didn't play around with being dead before taking Death's dagger and the flower of festering? xD these are witches! and we're not talking Glenda. 🤣 none of them are dead until the witch decides they are. and i do mean none of them. Agatha, Alice, Lilia, even Sharon! anything is possible when you've got witches in the mix.
I appreciated it wasn't a typical Marvel ending (and also this is supposed to be the middle of a trilogy resuming in Visionquest, which I imagine has a dark mid story where we find Tommy who is not in as happy a situation as Billy was) leading up to the reunion of the Maximoffs as I could see Billy losing control of his chaos magic setting the search for Wanda.

I was so sad watching this. Kathryn Hahn is incredible.
This episode is an epilogue! Not really necessary but just a little extra treat at the end!
“But I can’t face him” I thought we were going to see Agatha face death and her son but I guess shes just chilling as a ghost now
I just wish they could show more stories between Agatha and Rio. I'm really curious about how they met and how they fell in love.
Top 3 best Marvel series 💜
Eric Voss has poisoned a large percentage of TH-cam channels with a mindset of rumours are more valid than than the actual show...
Fun Fact: Jennifer Kale is the cousin of Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider
the lemon is just something to bite down on, but there is also quite a bit of witch lore on the lemon, and the various ways and reasons a witch will use them.
there are many 'spells' that call for a lemon to banish traumatic energy/negative ties from the PAST [hello, lady Death lol]
tho i think the only thing this lemon helped her with, was not breaking her teeth. because Rio was right there lol.
And gives her a few years.
i don't think the witches' road is just one thing, if you factor comic lore and TV lore together. it is a metaphysical plane, like the astral plane. it also a con, to Agatha, hope for Lorna Wu and a solution for Billy. oh, and an irritating mess for Rio. xD
the road shapes itself for the witches [or other magical beings] traveling it. it isn't 'fixed' in one state like the real world is.
i do like that Billy made his road a circle, tho. that's VERY on brand lol.
i believe Jac Schaeffer decided that it wasn't important who NIcholas' father was - it wasn't the point of the story being told.
If you guys have another theory- let me know cause I’m curious :)
And the montage scene where they go through time tricking covens with the song was quite epic and I was quite impressed as to the way it was shot :)
do people think the original green witch didn't play around with being dead before taking Death's dagger and the flower of festering? xD
these are witches! and we're not talking Glenda. 🤣
none of them are dead
until the witch decides they are.
and i do mean none of them.
Maybe after getting enough magic from all those witches she took the Darkhold from Ghost Rider?
Funny, no noticed she was using the DH to hide from death episode 1

I don't know how Agatha was planning to steal Jen's and Mrs Sharon's powers. Jen was being bound for a hundred years and Sharon didn't have any, I guess
She's just gonna blast them afterward
