Casino Hosts are the folks that pay attention to the points you accumulate on your player card and how much and how often you gamble, then they do their best to entice you back by pushing 'comps' your way. Free rooms. Free dinners. Free concerts. If you are qualified as a high roller/whale, they'll go so far as to fly you out and comp just about your entire stay (room, food, entertainment, etc.) because its all about getting you in there and on the casino floor to gamble.

I visited the casino in June of 2021. Played a $100.00 and walked out with a $1,658.00.
Not bad for a first time player.!.

It's definitely very personable, you're right about that 💕😊💕 Lots of good people here. You'll see lots of smiles welcoming you in. Jamestown, Ca., I grew up there until I was 16. This casino is a blessing to the community unlike anything this little town has ever seen. And most of the hard work put into it is done by locals so I've got a lot of heart for it. I hope you get to visit! We do love Vegas too ✨️

Honestly all Resort & Casinos in California are absolutely ridiculously priced, however they are beautiful and amazing. I can stay 1 night in CA for the same price as a week in Vegas.

Man what a difference from the old place
They did such a great job! It truly is absolutely stunning. Every little detail. The art work, the tableware, the marble they chose. I even love the rope design around the bar on the casino floor. And the material for the seats!
Old place is still open to. It's not connected I heard and will be used as the smoking allowed casino. I wonder how long before they close it completely
Yes, they're keeping it open for 18+/ smoking. I'm not sure if it will ever close. I hope not!
This looks REALLY nice. What is the smoking policy in the casino? I find side-by-side seating in casinos that permit smoking doesn't work very well for those of us who dislike the smell of smoke.
You'll be happy here then! No smoking inside the new casino. There are designated outdoor smoking areas just outside the casino floor (with a view). The old casino, up top of the hill (has been there for many, many years) is smoking/ 18+. New casino is 21+. It is absolutely beautiful 😍 We hope you get to see it soon!

Sorry about that! The pool is still under construction. I've heard rumor of a 2025 opening date.
I'm surprised the Chicken Ranch in Nevada isn't causing copyright troubles.
I had never heard of it until we posted this video and a few people mentioned it. I'm not sure how all of that works. Maybe because the one in California is technically called "Chicken Ranch Resort & Casino" but I'm not 100% sure. I don't know how old the one in Nevada is, but the 1st Chicken Ranch in Cali opened in 1985 or so. This is the new build for the old one.
The casino floor looks small where all the poker tables at
I didn't get coverage of the whole floor so I'm not 100% sure.
The bars look like they have a Las Vegas feel/vibe to them

They're in the middle. Room was very nice. We haven't seen all the rooms, just look into your options to find a room without them next to eachother. Enjoy!

Didn't notice if they did. They definitely had table games. Assuming there's some sort of poker at one of the tables.
What were the table minimums like? $10,15,25? And were those all the tables they had outside of high limit?
Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you about the table minimum's. Sorry! I didn't walk the entire floor so I probably didn't catch all tables. If I remember correctly, I was told the tables stretch across the center of the room throughout floor 2, but again I wouldn't want to guarantee that answer. There's a pretty involved FB page for them. They respond often, so maybe try asking there. Thanks for watching tho! I wish I had more answers to that aspect of it.
What no classic machines? What the heck is that so called artwork? What no buffet? Nice room.
Art is art. Not everyone is going to like everything. We loved it and thought it was brilliant, and maintained an ode to the long standing old casino. No clue about "classic machines" as I don't gamble much. Buffet, I'm not sure either... there are still floors being finished and I don't know what will be on those floors. Personally, I prefer table service instead of buffets with people sneezing and coughing and touching all the food... so it doesn't bother me to not have a buffet. The room was gorgeous! And the bed was very comfy. They really went all out, that's for sure!
I believe a buffet is being made but not open yet. I did see some 3 reel machines during the walk through. Probably just updated cabinets for them

The rooms are beautiful. A lot of them have balconys looking out over the mountains. You will love it!

It's a modern concept. You don't have to stay in the room.

It's not just a gambling experience tho. My husband and I only ever allow ourselves a $20 budget each, most of the time at any casino for the gambling perspective. It's honestly more about the ambiance, the food, the music, the rooms, the amenities etc... just fun to be there! Go grab a yummy coffee and walk around 🤗

Yes, the new casino is all non-smoking/ 21+ with designated outdoor areas for smoking. The old casino up top is 18+/ smoking.
This place opening day was a complete SHIT SHOW !! They have Hwy 120 jammed up in both directions, and when you do get there they have no parking! The parking they do have there was no thought put into it at all 3" of powder dirt our car got filthy just driving in, when we seen how they had hundreds of people standing in 100 plus degrees for hours waiting for one shuttle bus we left, they are never going to have enough parking it's a joke..
Opening days always have their challenges. Things will smooth out over time. The resort is stunning 😍 ✨️
You dont under stand what a disaster they created the high way 120 is totally screwed up in both directions for hrs thats not going away, they have no parking! And are not going to have enough parking Ever! You dont get it, their phony one lane round a bout is a disaster tuolumne county is a bunch of idiots for approving it. An off ramp and overpass should have already been built. Because they went cheap thousands of people will suffer.
I live here. I support round a bouts. Are you referring to HWY 108? The roundabout is on HWY 108. I guarantee you there was A LOT of thought put into it and things are still in the works. I can't imagine that there was someone in the back office saying "Oh hey, let's spend 335 million on a casino and let the elderly and disabled stand in the sun for hours" These people are wonderful people. And they have worked their asses off. Things are not perfect, PEOPLE are not perfect. As things are discovered as issues, they will be resolved. It's all about mindset. People also gripe about the lines at Disneyland, and LA traffic... just don't go if you don't enjoy it. I understand your frustrations, but if you look at the amount of work put in, and focus on the good, you're gonna be alright.... I promise.
My girl went for the grand opening Monday with a friend. Highway was packed waiting for bus in the heat was horrible. They left and went to black oak casino lol. Place looks amazing we’re come back in a few months after construction and craziness is done.

Yep! It's 18+/ smoking and then the new one is 21+/ non smoking.

I believe they will be in the parking lots that are still in process.

Can you play at the machines now?
They opened today for Tuolumne County residents from 2 pm to 2 am and then this Monday, the 15th, is the full soft opening where you can start playing all machines at 10 a.m.

Plenty of parking and more to come with shuttles to take you back and forth and then we didn't go into the high limit room so I can't really give insight there.
