- Plans to breathe new life into the defunct Chesterfield Mall are getting the green light. The city council recently approved a zoning change, which will make room for demolition and a major revamp.
If you've been to the Chesterfield Mall lately, you know it's only a shell of its former glory. Gone are the big box stores like Macy's and JCPenney. No more date nights at the movies.

What a waste of money once again.
There was a large abandoned lot for many years on which they ended up building streets of Saint Charles and I would say that's been a big success. If Chesterfield can do something similar I think it could be a big win.

Bob nation's needs to go? This looks like a housing project to me. I doubt if there's going to be very many office buildings built we got vacant office buildings all over the country. There are more interested in the apartments. Poor use of the land. Bad idea for Chesterfield

Grew up in this mall
At least it had a long run unlike St Louis Mills.
It should be made into apartments and rented at a affordable dollar to the poor
