I am looking to buy electric shears for odd touch up and some crutching in between my real shearer coming in and he is also getting older. You did a demo on the Heiniger xpert a while back and saw a recent post where you recieved the Beiyuan mace. Have you used both (and others?) so how do they rate.? I like these 2 as straight 240V - no transformers/inverters......
Hi Peter. A bit late in getting back. I have only just come across your comment. The heiniger is great. It has a wider barrel but is very reliable.Probably not as powerful as the e shear mace and the e shear has a more comfortable controllable grip. The lister scorpion is also very good. I have recently bough a heap of amazon and ebay electric clippers and will start to do some reviews on these clippers as they come in. You can't go wrong with either of these clippers.The e shear mace does have an inverter but I find that it is no issue when you hang it up out of the way. Cheers Justin
