Recently i saw a really good rouge player in my server i had joined, they played very well each time, even when i was exe. I personally think that rouge is the hardest character to play in this game, kind of like shadow to me i started using shadow recently for the memes, but i found out hes a really good mobility support class, but with rouge its much more difficult, you are constantly planting sensors around the maps, which most ik, supporting your fellow teammates along with protecting yourself, i find it good that rouge is one of those good support type characters, and its very rare to see GOOD rouge players bc of how difficult it is to use her, but if you get good with a character its really hard to get downed.
I wouldn't consider myself a Rogue main, but I play her more than an average player for sure. The video gave good tips, but I have some things that I want to mention that weren't in this video 1. Rouge really rewards you for knowing maps well. Put sensors on springs, bridges, or staircases near the main meeting spot of the map. Rogue is really good on a big map like you can't run, where the meeting area is both very big and has 3 entrences to it. 2. If there is a spot where Sonic goes a lot to (yellow springs on kind and fair or the yellow spring in you can't run for example), it might be a good idea to place 2 sensors on the spot. After Sonic gets detected, you'll have to make sure you are safe if you want to replace a sensor. With double placing, you can just not risk it and still have a sensor. 3. If you see Sonic while placing a Sensor, it's a good idea to use something I call slide canceling. A lot of people know this tech, but if you slide after placing a sensor, the sensor stays in place without you having to do a sensor placing animation. Use this, it's helpful. 4. If Sonic is chasing you, sliding a lot is a really good option. Another variation of slide canceling is placing a sensor *while* you are sliding. This will alert you team to your location and the fact that Sonic is chasing you. I think this tech will become even more useful in 1.1, where there will be hands above your icon if you are being chased. Since your team is able to see both Sonic and the fact that you are being chased they might help you.
A small tip i could give is that use Rouge when there 5-6 survivors cause if there are less, then Rouge doesn't have that high of a chance of surviving
some more tips for using rouge: 1) you can use the slide with the sensor if you first use the slide and almost instantly use the sensor it is very useful to put sensors under the spring without having to wait too long because you will have wasted the spring to tell others that you help 2) you can put a sensor under a spring if you have already used them to camouflage it from sonic Sorry if you don't understand very well this is written thanks to google translator

same rouge and sally is my main I only use rouge when there is a lot of people because the more people I have a lot more of chance of surviving but after this guide my skill is improved

Ik this vid is old but just wanted to say that in this version (I main Rouge btw) Rouge has evasion and I usually turn it on when Sonic is invisible. I also only revive downed ppl when it's necessary and no one is helping them bc I don't wanna get caught by Sonic. I feel like many ppl will main Rouge bc of her new ability in the 1.2 update lol

Considering 3rd abilities are now a thing, with sally, maybe rouge could have a mini jump boost or double jump with a flap 3rd ability where rouge can go higher then other exes (with 25/20 second cooldown as both of her official abilities are really short anyways)

I never expected that the Rings were actually important out of Hemoragia mode. You get speed in exchange you reveal your position and get dmg
