China's Secret Plan to Dominate Europe

In 2014, Chinese investments in Europe reached a record $18 billion. The number of people traveling between the two regions also increased. President Xi Jinping proposed establishing a comprehensive partnership between China and the E.U. in response. China is expected to become the most significant non-EU contributor to the European Commission's "Junker Plan," which aims to stimulate growth and employment. It is estimated that China will contribute around five to ten billion euros to the fund. A working group has been established to explore the possibility of co-financing.
