      Tysm for everything you're a saint. When I make enough without a doubt id be honored to join your classes. Does thinkorswim charge money for their charts? Do their charts update premarket at 7am and onwards? I know a bit of places dont even update the candle charts until market open

    Traded with 10 shares only for 2 months, you really have to take your time and learn and prove that you can be profitable...now I'm at 200 shares a trade and will continue to climb

      Congratulations! That’s the way to go 🏆🥇 though it seems to be a stark increase in share size after (only) 2 months as market dynamics will shift (just an observation, no lecturing 😅)

      Glad to hear trading only with 10 shares to start worked for you to gain confidence. This is exactly what I want to do, and now you've inspired me to try it, no matter how small the gain. I think it's all about the "doing", practicing, creating muscle memory while proceeding with caution.

    I am a fan from Taiwan, and I love how fast you make the content, it is so informative, and you make the video everyday.
    you have made a lot of videos explaining lv2 already, and everytime you just make it more easy to understand,
    I think you are the one who explains it the clearest on TH-cam with the detailed real-time example you gave.
    since I just get started in daytrade, and I am practicing in papertrading, the first thing I wake up (GMT+8) everydayis to see your video.
    Appreciate the hard work! I look forward to get more green days with you!

    Could you please elaborate on Level II situations when you see a big ask position being bought up, numbers coming down, but then the stock drops instead of moving up. Seen it so so so many times feeling baffled. TY AGAIN FOR YOUR TIME educating us, the dreamers!

    • @SDM3791
      @SDM3791 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The ask is a sell position so it's going to drive a lower price

    • @SDM3791
      @SDM3791 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      If market price is $10 and there's a large volume at $5 on the ask (exaggerated I know) but that weighs the price downward

    • @dannyg6045
      @dannyg6045 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Maybe a large hidden seller

    • @AnthraxDust
      @AnthraxDust หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      If you see the numbers going down on a big seller (ask), but it doesn’t fully break and the price drops, this is likely because the buyers were not strong enough at that moment to break through, and as people see it’s not breaking some people will take profit as they see the break isn’t going to happen, and people who got in for the break may bail and sell their position. Pay close attention to shifts in buying or selling on the tape at that price level where the big seller is being eaten up to help spot that it may potentially not be breaking (see no more green or very little green on tape, shifts to majority or all red on tape or burst of red on tape)

    I noticed today on lvl 2. Thay when the spread starts getting wider. Example, bids start going lower and ask stays high. Eventually, the price starts to drop. I will be keeping an eye on this for a trend. But i believe it is a pattern to look for the price to start dropping. Sellers hold their positions. But new sellers step in and lower the ask price to accommodate the buyers asking price. Therefore, driving the price to dip.

    When you're trying to show something like the break of 10.29 on ADGI and you go back to see it again, you can actually use the " , " and " . " keys (lower case " " keys) to go frame by frame. Your videos are probably about 30 frames per second. You can also change to .75, .50 and .25 speed by using the same keys upper case "". The ">" key will take you back up. Very handy when you get used to it.

    New to the channel. Absolutely loving it so far. Thank you very much for such a detailed breakdown on the variety of topics you cover. Was hoping to get a little advice as your small accounts starting point is my whole starting account. I am usually very conservative and have been making small profits most days but its nothing substantial. I know it will compound but is it worth it in the beginning to go for the whole account looking for a bigger wins until I get to a more substantial starting point? I am not trying to be greedy or too conservative but it seems too slow at only 5-10 bucks a day in my wins. Lately iv only been maxing out at $125/trade. Any advice from anyone would be appreciated.

    One of things I'm frustrated about in a cash-only account is establishing a stop loss on my trades to manage my risk. Typically I set a stop loss around $0.10 to $0.20 / share. There have been several times I try to enter into a stock thinking it will continue upward only to quickly drop down and then come up back to where I was and to find myself stopped out and done for the day (being a cash account). I also tried w/o a stop loss and that ended up creating a bigger loss for me. It would be nice to see how you manage the risk in these small accounts. What amount to do setup for a stop loss? Is there any guidance how much to setup a loss being on the price action of a stock?

    • @DaytradeWarrior
      @DaytradeWarrior  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah its hard this is why its a small account challenge we don't get the room to take a mistake then get back in. So being super selective is helpful but it also puts a lot of pressure on to make sure its right!

    Sometimes you'll see the bid price much higher than the ask. Is this bc they want to push the sellers into a possible squeeze?

    Is the “red” on the bid because those shares were “sold” on the bid???

    One thing that is important to know, those orders on lv2 can be taken away in an instant. That goes for buy and sell orders. So, while lv2 does offer a glimpse into the price action, is just one piece of the puzzle.

    They also make money on payment for orders flow by their algorithms But Eh-hem , oh, right they are creating liquidity.......sure that sound good .......NOT! One bank runs nearly 80% of all that action too! Those toasters (robots) shouldn't be allowed it's an unfair advantage and completely controls the price thus the market. (In my opinion)

      Think of how many times you wanted to quit your job I been trading on and off as I could afford to and to be honest with you wish I had off stayed more steady from what Iam Gathering. And my experience your probably over trading and just try for 10 % a day and max 5% loss what ever happens first stop trading

    I am trying REALLY hard to find a good starting point in learning stock lingo and trading lingo but finding square 1 feels impossible. It says “for beginners” But it feels like a whole different language. Like starting to learn Spanish in an advanced course.

      Well, realize that Ross is an unusually advanced trader. I would suggest buying his book, wherein he patiently explains every detail. I have his book and it is just great. I already understood all the terms and lingo and underlying ideas because I've been at this for many years. Ross is probably the best educator I've ever come across, regarding the field of daytrading.

      @@KpxUrz5745 thank you so much. I don’t know anyone who day trades so i has no one to ask who was reputable. I like listening to Ross but felt i didn’t know the basics to follow. I’m signing up for his beginners class and I’m going to get the book. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question.

    LOL yea it's easy to record and pause and play in slow-mo after the fact, but trying to read and interpret L2 in real-time isn't as easy. Walls get broken in microseconds. Levels change in an instant. Pairing that with T&S and the chart live isn't as easy as it seems. Yea you're good at trading but let's focus on that...
