Jimmy, if you take the four bolts off of the rack, the seat fits flush with absolutely no gaps. I installed it the same way you did and noticed that it didn’t sit exactly flush, but once I removed those four bolts, good to go!
My next e bike has to have a passenger kit (for the grandkids). I’ve narrowed it down to this or the Ride1up Cafe Cruiser with a passenger kit. But the price of this 3.0 is very hard to pass up.
Well, I don’t expect to receive our passenger kit until January. That’s a real bummer, having ordered on release day. We also ordered the kid seats. Sadly, after 2.5 weeks, only one arrived.
I saw another video that shows when you fold your lectric xp with the passenger kit, the peg hits the brake rotor. Do you use a rubber cover? What kind of cover can I use?
New 3.0 today latch won’t latch needed adjusted majorly and “open” won’t spring back. Key is hard to get in AND my suspension post is absolutely a used part 😒
😂 I had the same problem with the wheel too when I got mine. I thought it was defective and I had to deflate and inflate several times without success. What did it for me was to elevate the rear tire off the ground and slowly inflate like you did. I think the weight of the bike on the deflated tire was causing it to not seat properly. Btw, I mounted the passenger handlebar higher. That spares my passengers hands from bumping into my big butt. 😂
Great video. We saw you reach 10 mph while carrying a passenger, but was that your top speed even on a flat surface? If so, that seems very slow considering your daughters light bodyweight.
The title of this video is very misleading clickbait. It sounds like there is a quality issue with the bike when really it was user error. You should ALWAYS do a thorough inspection after any assembly/repair/modification. Not sure you two are really qualified to do any kind of bike evaluation or review.
How could you misd that though? Were not paying attention totally. If you inflate a tire. You would see it sticking out or a bulge. You guys aren't too smart......I don't think I'll be taking any advice from you guys. You can't even properly pump up a bike tire....like little kids do this stuff! Why can't you!
the day i got mine the tire has a wobble in it.. the rim is straight, and the wobble is a up/down wobble, not a left/right wobble. i checked the tire and it looks to be mounted correctly. this should be embarrassing for Lectric. i cant even ride the 1K dollar ebike i bought until i send them a video of the issue so they can diagnose it. should they be checking they crap before they ship it? what a joke
I agree, my bike had a battery issue. Sent them photos, and said I needed a shim to make the battery line up correctly. This should have been checked before they shipped the bike and not send out a bike that doesn't work. Still siting in the garage after two weeks and counting.
Your daughter riding with you on the passenger kit as an opener is the most wholesome thing on youtube today. The best.

Thanks for the info!
Thanks for that tip. Ordered mine on the Black Friday sale. Got the bike a week ago and the seat package comes tomorrow . Going to be fun.
Wow, I had the same problem. I did catch it after a few miles.
Easy fix, right?

this bike is really really strong for the price

Freshly Charged and ready to Sarge!
My dude loves PEV's so much he named his daughter Electric Vehicle (EV).
Jimmy can see into the future. He knew they'd be cool before they even existed.
My daughter will NOT let me take her to school with a mini ebike lol.

That's called " the tail waggin' the dog " when the person on the back is heavier than the pilot !!
they have issues with the spokes also..i would luv to see a mag version or option added
Well the pegs fit on the XP 2.0
When you originally mounted the seat the two back screws were not all the way down. It looked like it was holding your seat off of the frame.

I have the same tire pump
Is it waterproof
I still have my Letric 1.0, I use it as a gravel/ Mtn bike now. I punish it and it still keeps going.
⚡ 🤙🏼 ⚡
*Would love to see the Engwe C20 Pro on the channel*
Looks like a unique foldable ebike.
ALSO: The handlebars are wider on the3.0 than the 2.0

Massive ⚽️ 🏀 🏈 on any dad for that level of trust.
He must’ve been/will be great at teaching her how to drive.
I’ll need diapering.
🤣😂
Your daughter’s name is EV?!
Isn't it fitting? Jimmy's been dreaming of EVs before they became popular.

What about the onewheel crisis???
Hi
I see true fear and it makes me laugh :)
🤣
it was "not quite right" ...good lord..not the people I'd go to for advice on bikes
