Gotta say, I'm loving this game so far, I was a bit worried at first since it did start pretty slow, but now that I got farther into the game, all the worries have gone away. I really hope this game succeeds so we can truly see the resurgence of all 3 Mario RPGs.

@@TheSillyASGamer as someone in neither country, I actually watched BOTH of them, and loved them equally… well, maybe Richard Hammond made me like the uk one slightly more just for him actually…
The amount you’re giving us in this short of a time is incredible. Thank you! edit: Also your commitment to replaying the entire game just to leave nothing out of the series is remarkable.
Regarding this choice, I think I can see both sides. If you pick Luigi, you miss out on Luigi landing content and the ability to immediately use your bros attacks. If you pick Peach, you miss out on Luigi hole and solo Luigi content.
I'm most likely not gonna be commenting much on this series since most of what I would say would include minor spoilers, but I'm very glad you enjoyed the two islands that I ended up hating with a passion.
The gatekeeper's dialog after you enter the code really shocked me. The Zok Troops have got to be some of the most ruthless villains in this franchise.
Worth noting that plugs like Dizzifying attack and some similar plugs you get later are still worth using even if their special effect doesn't trigger, they also provide a raw damage boost when equipped.
I DID miss out on the Luigi cutscene if only because I wanted a bit of a challenge and I didn't like the idea of Peach getting kidnapped again, so thanks for showing us both paths
1:23:04 i didnt even think of it that way... what i thought the game wanted was for me to count the leaves on the thing in the middle.. which also happened to be 5, not count the tables themselves.. tho in hindsight table counting makes more sense , it ended in success anyways as i bruteforced the last number lol
I think that if you send Luigi, they should give you the first code to even out the risk, given the whole reason he was sent was so they could move around easier to gain information
1:42:41 well, tbf, the quad bros move interface is kinda misleading, it looks like just 3 moves, but since they grant new abilities to each of them along the way, it’s still more like finding new things 6 times total. One other thing? i cooould be wrong of course but I’m preeeetty sure that particular reef is supposed to be a _seashell_ , or a sea snail or something, not….that 😅 (Then again, I guess there’s be no explanation to it being called that if it was, now that i think about it…)
Mega Snaptor as the 3rd boss despite my hate on the Snaptor, is actually a pretty fun boss fight, the Luigi Logic for it is honestly not that bad compared to the first Boss.
They went way too easy on us with the math portion of the code. It should've been a question where we had to find the intersections between an ellipse and a hyperbola given their equations in polar form.
In my head, I wanted to keep playing where the choice at the beginning mattered and so I could keep seeing how the crafting quests were different. But I stopped caring in the end.
I really like it! At first I wasn't sure because I think it's a different composer, but it grew on me. And the further I get, the more the music slaps!

I like how right after you get hammers from Billdit all of the merchants just conveniently start selling hammers.

There's a good reason why they gave you 5 save files right at the beginning
Worth noting that plugs like Dizzifying attack and some similar plugs you get later are still worth using even if their special effect doesn't trigger, they also provide a raw damage boost when equipped.
I do want to point out that the Krode enemies are rusted metal pipes that look like Treevils and their name comes from corrode
Mayro, you do understand that the reason they are so mean to Shun is because they are SHUNNING HIM?!? Right? Please tell me you got that.
... *flips table* (this gives a hilarious extra weight to a choice in the future... and how we can completely ignore it... at least I did)
I in fact did not get that

The cutscene I was referring to was after the code anyway, so idk it seems reasonable to react that way :p
