Over a year ago I had to go to the hospital due to a suicide attempt. Some nights I miss the hospital and the comfort it brought, and this grounds me. It makes me feel like I’m in the beds, half asleep, light in the corner of the door while being watched. It’s so comforting, and I’m glad to be able to have my own “hospital”
Pleases me to hear that this video bought you back to a moment where you felt comfort and safety. I hope you are doing much better now. Thanks so much for sharing! 💙✨
You know, when people who've been through hard battles like you come out, and talk about this, It really shows how strong you are! And How courageous that you are! Your recovery brings a smile to my face. The hospital is a soothing place, where you just know that You will be cared for. I've been in the hospital so many times, and being sick IS HORRIBLE! IT SUCKS! But when you have good nurses, there's that feeling of, "Oh. I'm OK! I'm going to be OK! People are here to care for me!"
@@ventilator98exactly! Even though I had to be checked on and was admitted to a mental hospital I never felt judged. I have all of the papers from the hospital and it was filled with comforting notes. I’d never attempt again, for the sake of my family, but I wouldn’t mind one more night in that hospital bed ❤
Idk if I'm the only one but my mental heath is so fcked up my body sometimes won't acknowledge the fact that I'm mentally not well if I'm not physically unwell. So to fall asleep, I often make up those scenarios where I'm injured or sick. This audio just makes me feel more immerse in my own little stories. I love the fact that the monitor sound is not too loud and agressive, love the rain too
OMG... i think you might have put your finger on something that could bring an answer to one of my oldest question.. why the hell can't I just fall asleep if I don't imagine myself die or falling into à coma after a severe injury and shit??? Bruh.
Just wanted to let you know that this was PERFECT for me. I was sick with a stomach bug, (perhaps the flu) but my anxiety was getting the best of me in the middle of the night. Being alone and feeling helpless my anxious mind began to take over. The monitor calmed me and made me feel someone was watching over me so I could finally get some sleep. The rain was an added bonus and the image wrapped it all up perfectly in the best video. I lost track of how many times I've played it thru. 😊I'll be back anytime I'm sick, for sure!
Kinda reminds me of my little bro’s post op care for appendicitis. He had stomach pain for months up until it was so severe that we went to the hospital. He got surgery and it was the first time in a while that I’d seen him sleep so peacefully. Sure, after being done with the painkillers it hurt, but I was happy to see him so much better. Thanks doctors and nurses, and also for all the ice cream you let me steal from the fridge 😂❤
Awww..so happy to hear that your little brother was well taken care and ended up with peaceful hospital experience. Kudos to the doctors for all the ice cream ayyyeee! 😂☺️💙
I love how safe I feel in hospital, especially alone. I grew up going to hospital for chemotherapy and still after 7 years It’s still lingering. This makes me go back to when I was younger and could understand what was happening just happy to be shown so much love
In 2018 i had cancer. I spent almost that entire year in the hospital, in a coma for a long time, and when I was conscious i was isolated from my loved ones due to the cost of travel and distance it took to get to the hospital i was at... in addition i was suffering an incredible amount. I hated it so much. Not the thought of dying but..being alone, and the emotional turmoil it caused my father and little brother. I hated almost every moment save for the few nights my family was with me. Despite that..this video brings me peace sometimes. I find it necessary to play this to fall asleep occasionally. It's one of the only things that helps me these days...thank you..thank you so much for this peace.
Thank you for sharing your story, so sad that you had to endure that. It's pleasing to know that this video brings you peace and comfort. Thanks so much for watching. 💙💙💙
I had a suicide attempt in January and another in March. Being in the Hospital for those weeks made me feel safer and more comfortable. I often find myself wishing I was back there in that ward.
This is definitely relatable. These videos help me feel that same sense of safety I felt while I was on hold waiting to be transferred into psychiatric care. 🥹
I've recently become quite ill with some stomach issues that I'm waiting to get tested for. It's draining and scary but for some reason, this video really calms me during a flare-up. I think it's the soft repetitive sounds and the illusion of feeling taken care of. Thanks for sharing this ambience, it has become essential to me. It's comforting to see from the comments others look for things like this, though my heart goes out to anyone who needs it.
Me and my sisters would play as nurses, patients, doctors, etc. in the unit that my dad worked on since the whole place was unoccupied, full of empty beds and rooms. It was funny at times, with the scenario’s we managed come up with. (Zombie apocalypse) (re-imitating nurses with deep drama/tea behind the desk)😂 If you see this -could you recreate a setting of a main unit in a hospital? It was dark for most of the floor but the beds usually had these dim orange lights that lit overhead. + I love the rain and monitor sounds! 💛💛💛
The thing I must say is that the ambiance and the picture just full on gives out very nice and calming vibes, as a person who has stayed in a hospital for 3 months, I find the sounds of it very comforting, Thanks for the vid! I actually fell asleep to this too!
Grew up in and out of the hospital for most of my childhood; sometimes this is the only way I'll sleep! Thanks for putting such a perfect piece together ❤
I know the feeling. Since I was a hospital kid too, nothing makes me fall asleep faster than the beeping of the monitors and the chit chat all through the night.
reminds me of when my dad got alcohol poisoning and went into organ failure, i dont remember how long he was in a coma for and he probably doesnt remember himself due to memory loss. a couple years later i attempted at my own life, and if i survived i wished to at least find comfort in the hospital ambience as if i were there on my dads assumed death bed. its weird but i felt so comforted when he was in a coma, it was so quiet at home and we could finally relax. i love him a lot but i remember being so upset when i heard the news about him waking up, i was getting so used to feeling safe at his house. the morning after the attempt i woke up in my bed, i was vomiting violently and having terrible tremors but i pushed myself to go to school. i just played it off as a cold, considering i have chronic nausea and anemia, it didnt seem anything too out of the ordinary, just some episode. i tried to take my life 2 more times, never once ending up in the hospital. ive changed my mind, life is beautiful and theres so much more out there for me today, but sometimes i do wish i could fail one last time for the hospital.
Man. This brings me back to all my leg surgeries. All 4-5 of them. My first one, i had to stay for 2 weeks due to it being very painful for me. The others was a breeze. No im not scared of hospitals as i know they do good.
What kind of leg surgeries did you get? I got a few, I had to get a bilateral derotational ostionimy, where they put plates and screws and metal rods in my legs, I was in the hospital for about a week, and I went to physical therapy to relearn how to walk after being Ina wheelchair for 6 months(I started walking before I was supposed to) and after a year of having the plates in, they took them out, leaving the permanent metal rods. I can’t go through the airport without setting something off lol. The hospital was always calming to me.
@@Ijustreallylikeowlhouse SO LATE SORRY! Basically i had an injury that happened to me at 13 months old and i had to get surgery to correct the born through out my life
This might sound weird but i like to imagine im an ODST that got knocked unconscious inside my drop pod and thr beeping is my pod telling me to open the door whilst the rain bats on my glass shield door.
I’m confused I been listening to this to sleep but tonight there’s a different sound it’s like something from a horror film and I watched a different video to see if there was something wrong with my devices speaker and the other video played normal like it’s actually freaking me out because the past three nights this video didn’t sound like this it was beeping with light rain now it’s ominous sounds and the beeping is faint I keep skipping the video ahead but it stays the same like what is going on lol
This reminds me of the time i went to the hospital after j had cut my hand open with a cooking knife. I had sliced my finger open to the point where u could see the tendon i now cannot fully close mg right hand 😅😂
Sometimes I cant sleep without hearing "hospital or heart monitor" sounds My mom would go alot due to health problems we even spent our new years at the hospital...it was constant fainting, chest pains, asthma attacks and etc. I even quit my job to stay by her side I would sleep in those stiff uncomfortable chairs R.I.P my back I found the sound comforting and would fall asleep until my mom would wake me up for help or cry due to the I.V hurting 😢. We havent gone in months shes fine, but when we go for check ups at the hospital I find myself falling asleep instantly like if I was in the hospital room with my mom in the bed and me in the chair.
Hope you guys enjoy! 😴
