If you didn’t grow up in the 80’s or 90’s you’ll never really “GET IT”. You could hear these cars coming. They have a very distinct sound. This was every kids dream to own one of these cars. You have to own one or driven one to understand.

I was born 78 my uncle was a huge drug dealer and had one of these and he was also a mechanic. I had been in a huge car accident and had a lawsuit at 18 years old and won 7,500 so I bought my uncles mustang at 18 years old. From 97 to 2001 the feeling of being young and every light you pull up to girls are waving guys are trying to race people are complimenting the feeling is like no other. Man I loved that car so much. Those were some fun times. Wish I had a camcorder to and recorded some of those moments.

I love the Foxbody Mustang and owning a car should never be about owning the fastest or most powerful but owning what you want and hopefully getting the most out of it.

Love the car. I had an '86 converted to look like a 93. Now I have a '94 sn95 but still has the 5.0. To me it's the engine that I love so much. It's not a "fast" car, it's a "quick" car. It's fun off the line but you aren't going to win every race! Who cares?

I just remember driving my buddys '89 fox body in high school and how easy it was to drive . I owned an automatic '72 Camaro and had zero experience driving a manual 5.0.. Just got in it and started driving like an asshole lol. Just super driver friendly. Always wanted one but never pulled the trigger. Did get me an S550 though.. best choice I ever made... car wise that is. Hope you keep that car man, or at least sell it to someone who will take care of it. Thanks for the drive down Nostalgia Street👍

Thanks for the ride along! My car is still hibernating for the winter so this was fun to watch. Videos like this remind me of why I fell in love with the FoxBody mustangs back in the 80's. Smiles per gallon!

I had a 1990 gt. Owned it for 10 years. Swapped out the AOD for a five speed. It still is the funnest car I’ve ever owned.

Solid Fox. All it needs is some fog lamps, Love the classic H-Pipe Flowmaster 40 series on the Foxes. Signature sound.

No mustang gets more attention than a foxbody that is a fact. I own three and every time i take one out all you get is pure compliments.

Very nice Stang! I used to own a 89 GT in the late 90's. Probably one of the best cars I've owned. It was strawberry pearl color, with aftermarket rims, it used to get so many compliments.

Just coming out of winter here in Boston. This is giving me the jitters to go for a cruise!!

You nailed it. It’s driving these that grabs you by the short hairs. I drive a 91 GT vert and what I trip out on is how small it is compared to new muscle cars. I’ll pull up next to a challenger and I’m looking at the middle of their door.

Can you imagine back in the early 90s saying that 495 hp is not a lot of horsepower? The General Lee with a 440 had 400 hp give or take.

Beautiful car man, love the setup. I’ve got a 93 Fox GT myself and I know about all the offers 😂

You Know, I’ve always been in love with these cars. First one I got, was a 1990 Mustang LX Convertible. It was a supercharged 302, with Flowmaster exhaust on it. I’m 18, and I was 17 when I got it. Gotta love High School, brings back a lot of memories for people. What sucks is that the 302 motors can only have 400 HorsePower, and I kind of wish that they could put more power to the ground though. :/ But, other than that, it’s better to enjoy a Fox Mustang while you have it :))

I have a 93 GT also black but my engines almost completely stock. I focussed on the suspension w/ a 3-link conversion using a torque arm and panhard bar and my car is completely planted on rails now. Getting rid of the upper control arms was night n day the best thing ive ever done to this car. I have been caught in the rain a few times and its just 1000X safer. MM equipped. I save all the notes (paper plates, gum wrappers, 8.5x11 typed, post-its...) that people leave on my windshield offering to buy it.

A clean black on black fox nicely modified with a blower is a keeper. Just trust me when I say it. You will regret getting rid of this car.
