Something I've seen a lot of reactors miss is, when Eichigo (Tsubakihara's captain) asks his team mates if they'd prefer to play against Shiratorizawa instead of Karasuno, it's not because they're underestimating Karasuno, it was just a way to motivate the others, something like "this could've been a worse situation but it isn't, take advantage of that", immediately after, he says "well they did beat Shiratorizawa" pointing that they have to be careful either way, they do acknowledge them.
As a setter, I can say from experience that what Kageyama experienced in this episode is legit. Sometimes when I'm in a different court, playing outside, or when the gymnasium is huge, it really messes up your field perception and it takes time to adjust. It really sucks when the opponent takes a point out from your own mistakes.
Yup. Playing in big arenas with around 25 courts side by side, can be pretty different from a small stage. Usually takes me a couple of sets to get used to it too.
My future club is volleyball but because of covid I can't go to the team no more the volleyball coach recommend me to be his middle blocker because 5'1 tall and the rest are 4'7 4'6 4'9
You need to be listening to the vibrations bouncing of the walls aswell as visual realignment of the geometry of the space you are on, and u basically have to be a submarine in order to set like kageyama.
They not underestimate karasuno... The captain said its lucky not going up against shiratorizawa is just to calm his teammate because everybody know how strong shiratorizawa is... But after that the captain clearly said that it doesn't change the fact that karasuno beat shiratorizawa...
Yeah I mean I played against several teams in football. Teams that even beat the best team in the league but I was still rather afraid of the bests than the ones who beat them.
In case anyone SOMEHOW doesn't know... When Kiyoko trows Hinata's bag to Yachi, that moment is meant to symbolize her passing the torch on to the next generation... So... Beautiful! 😭
