2024.18 - QCM Futurity Race and CJC YB Race #5 200 miles

It was a bad weekend for my YB teams for both races on Saturday and Sunday 200 miles from Sideling Hill PA. The races were tough and 18 of my YBs are still MIA as of Monday 9/16. The weather seemed ok for both days, but the races turned out to be much tougher. My theory is in addition to the head wind, which was not very strong, some areas might have been foggy and the birds had to fly much harder and longer to find way home.

Nice video, enjoyed the releases. Tough races buddy. Not the best of the birds but we can't win them all. The birds did well considering the conditions and i bet you they learned a ton with these experiences. Best of luck next week.

Definitely! One thing I've always learned is luck comes with hard work. No, I'm not flying Brooklyn special. I think my birds need more training. Good luck to you! I think your birds are getting in good shape to have a good shot!
