An interesting historical period, in that the leader of the Libyan rebels, Omar al-Mukhtar, is still a much respected figure in North African history . General Rodolfo Graziani, the Italian commander, was also involved in the North African battles during WW2. Some of the battle scenes are rather graphic but still a movie well worth watching.
