The hash brown casserole is definitely my favorite from Cracker Barrel! I normally get the chicken and dumplings as my main with hash brown casserole and green beans as my sides 😊

I make broccoli rice casserole. I always use fresh broccoli and make sure it is in smaller pieces, cook till tender and drain. Add 1 lb Velveeta melted with 1 can cream of mushroom soup and a little evaporated milk. mix with drained broccoli and 1 cup of rice precooked in 2 cups water. Stir all together and black pepper on top. Bake until bubbly and cooked through. Yummy! Nancy from Arkansas

It's the same way at Cracker Barrel. A whole lot of rice and one big ole piece of broccoli. It's really good, I just wish they'd make the broccoli smaller.
Not a fan of Cracker Barrel… the food is bland and the kind of stuff you make at home all the time. Every time we go there , we have horrible service, they mess up the orders and didn’t bring some of our food until we ready to leave and the last time we went my daughter had corn in her hot chocolate - ewwww screams dirty to me. 😮 I love the store though lol. You did a much better version.
Corn in the hot chocolate would be so gross. Food costs too much for it to be such a disappointing meal out. At home copycat recipes definitely helps you have some of the same tastes, but a better experience. These were definitely some great copycat versions! Thank you for watching! 😊

We only ever use large elbow when we make mac and cheese at home but Cracker Barrel just uses the regular small size
