FWIW, by all accounts he turned down the Broncos job flat. The rumors here around Michigan was that both he and Sean Payton were waiting to see if the Chargers job would open. When it didn't, Harbaugh turned down Denver and returned to Michigan, while Payton took the job on the table after that. It also didn't help when Michigan dropped the lawsuit against the Big Ten, and basically forced him to drop his lawsuit as well. He felt betrayed, the job he wanted opened, he won the Natty, and they offered him $16 million a year. Hard to turn down that combination.
@@greenwave819let me help you, good sir. What was meant was being a good coach that wins games fairly, like Harbaugh. Not being a mediocre coach that cries and whines and doesn’t make a team better. It’s always so amusing to read Ohio State fans opine in their all too predictable “Don’t bother me with facts; my mind is made up” psychosis. It’s more amusing to actually watch all the games they’ve lost to Michigan over the past 4 seasons. Watch their linemen getting blown off the ball. Watch their DB’s out of position, undisciplined, and either incapable or unwilling to tackle. Watch their coach wince and freeze, risk averse and afraid. Watch their 5-stars get out-toughed and left in the dirt by lower rated, harder working players. But no. They won’t watch the games, because all too typical of the weak, woke culture they represent, they’d rather bask in their victimhood and accuse their betters of having an unfair advantage, which serves as a permanent alibi for underachieving. The only advantages Michigan had were superior coaching and development, and it was proven yet again this year.
Nah. When in college football history has literally the entire staff left a program after a national championship? They knew the NCAA was coming after them and they smartly departed.
The entire staff didn’t leave. It was mostly the defensive coaches who literally all joined Harbaugh in the NFL. Plenty of head coaches leave jobs and take their assistants with them
lol. Man. Move on. Worry about yourself. There was no cheating. I guess whining about Michigan is more entertaining than worrying about your own team. Osu did the same/worse. You don’t see Michigan crying about it.
He already made the playoffs with the chargers and MICH still beat OSU again with the worst teamm so it dont matter 😂 NCAA wont do anything wtf has bielma ever done to be on harbaugh level gtfo
Coach Harbaugh was at Michigan for 9 seasons. The NFL buzz began after his 3rd or 4th season and it NEVER stopped. We were all sick of hearing it to the point of saying “Look Coach… If you don’t want to be here, just go”. We wanted him committed for the duration of his career, but Coach has always been obsessed with winning a Lombardi. Michigan was a stepping stone for him to step back into the NFL. It’s that simple. The NCAA accomplished their mission to get rid of Harbaugh, but his departure left egg on their face in addition to the egg they already had on their face from lost litigation from recent lawsuits that amounted to a public relations catastrophe. So this is now a recovery attempt by the NCAA in trying to save some face by regaining some of the credibility and relevance they lost. The NCAA continues their smear campaign of Michigan while simultaneously testing the program in the court of public opinion hoping Michigan will concede. The NCAA will get curb stomped in the actual court of law by Michigan’s legal group if it goes that far. There is far more to this than what we are all hearing. Just watch.
Imagine thinking Connor Stallions was responsible for winning after Michigan went through half its season without a head coach, beat OSU, Alabama, Washington (after Stallions quit)… Also imagine being so dense that you believe your school doesn’t (hasn’t) employed their own Connor Stallions equivalent
Andy, you said it. There are the UM people, the OSU people (and their MSU lapdogs) and then there's everybody else who is in the same camp as you: The "I don't care it's just funny" camp. No one cares, no one is even really talking about this. OSU people go crazy whenever that is pointed out. Sad!
The advantage it gave does not matter. Were rules broken, yes or no? Did people lie? Those are the questions that matter, if you cheated you cheated regardless of what it accomplished.
@greenwave819 that is true. However that was still the bcs era. A one loss team would not have been in the NC game over either an undefeated ND or OSU.
I can’t stand how so many minimize or make light of the Connor Stallions situation. It’s hilarious? Entertaining? There are consequences to these things. It’s reckless to say otherwise. Hamburger-gate is funny, tattoo gate is funny, under no circumstance is cheating for three seasons funny. If it wasn’t a big deal, why did they allow it to happen for 3 seasons? If we want to just chalk this all up to its entertainment and throw away rules and fairness, this game isn’t worth watching anymore.

Bret Bielema will never be the coach Jim Harbaugh is. Why is he even talking?
yeah it is unlikely he's the kinda guy to hire a Stalions
