May 19 Wichita Tornado Coverage - KSN Staff Takes Shelter (Full Video)

NWS Wichita issued a "Tornado Emergency" for the city as a "large, violent tornado" was reported on the ground near the airport in SW Wichita. The path was taking the twister right toward downtown Wichita, where the KSN studios are located. This was the coverage as it all happened, including when the meteorologists took shelter as the storm passed over.

Thank you for your excellent coverage. I felt safer once I tuned into KSN. It was nice to see the best of the best covering the severe weather. I was surrounded by people who thought the storm was a joke; and I was in a small town that I was unfamiliar with. When I saw you guys pop up, I felt much more secure.
