So, it looks like the Flatland Racing radiator guard is the one to go for.
From your description, it seems to offer the most protection.
I’ll try to find one here in the States.
    Happy Trails

Hi Allen, I think it does, and I bought mine from them in the US so hopefully they are available. I’ve seen a couple of pics of squashed L radiators from side impacts. Not sure if the Rally bodywork offers a little more protection, or maybe no one’s sharing those pics.
      Happy Trails to you too.

The Thep guard seems to have far too little ventilation holes, may not be a problem at speed, just an observation.

Indeed, though the sell them in Thailand where I expect they have some warm weather to deal with, warmer than here in the UK at least.

Even Noraly had problems with radiator overheating in the Americas. I suspect that rad is not going to move enough air through. Certainly wouldn't use one in Australia. I do like the side load support though

I had to do a bit of fettling with a small file to get mine to fit.

I guess it’s just a little to get the tabs in. Seems sturdy enough though.

I agree with the other comment about ventilation. Maybe that is designed for cold climates.
I would buy one if it had better ventilation and sideways bash protection.

Yup. I know there’s at least one in use over here in the UK, so will see if I can get any feedback on how that is working out. If there’s any folks from Thailand who see this, and are using it, I’d be interested to know how it works in warmer conditions.

I'll be fitting a flatlands Rad gaurd when it arrives. Shocking price now. Terrible exchange rate plus 20% tax.
Have you fitted a lithium battery to your rally yet? Where do I buy one in the UK please.
Thanks for all your videos. They are a great help.

Did you get it from them or from Rally Raid? (I think Rally Raid are importing them into the UK. Not sure if that's any cheaper, and if they are, probably not ideal to find out now, for which I can only apologise).
I haven't put a Lithium battery in my bike yet. When the standard one needs replacing, I'll go lithium but until then, I'll stick with the stock one.

Looks like quite a reduction in airflow.

It does but I haven’t noticed any change in cooling. That said it’s cold in the UK so perhaps the lack of airflow isn’t a problem. They do make them somewhere in the Midwest I think where summer temperatures are far hotter, and I guess if they were a problem, there would be enough stories to get around.

if you aren’t running the flatland racing guard you are wasting your $’s…

I know. This was for a comparison only. I have the flatland racing guard on my bike.
