Therefore if an opponents creature has -1/-1 counter from yawg - they can then proliferate that counter to make it a -2/-2 and so on. Also in the last game, when yawg aims to kill bowmaster and bowmaster still triggers due to state based actions and they target the insect. TJ responds and sacks the insect therefore the bowmaster trigger has no valid target and fizzles so the orc army does not grow.
