Yep. All the rival cars (with the exception of the bosses) are upgraded versions of the cars ingame that could be used. Like for example, EVE's Mustang is a Level 3 Mustang in a red paint finish and blue neons, J.B's Lancer Evo IX is a Level 2 Lancer Evo IX in a blue paint finish and purple neons, Akagi's 350z is a Level 1 350z in a red paint finish with green neons, etc
