Honestly foldable phones coming down in price is a good thing, even if it’s not for everyone it will help push the market forward. Here as you often mention every phone brand has a folding phone and their prices are cheaper than Samsung but the more brands that release cheaper phones the more it will make them more accessible and compelling to all. Other hardware brands have smaller creases on the screen, a hinge that allows the phone to fold flat without a gap in-between and some have better cameras and thinner designs. Competition from any manufacturer is good.

I'd buy this before the other large foldables , simply for the aspect ratio on the front screen which is what I'll be using 90% of the time. This uses the same ratio as a typical phone and to me it fixes the only reason I haven't bought a foldable yet . The battery size is another reason I'd pick this over all other foldables.

I never use my fold 4 half-bent so for me this one would be perfect. The crease is really annoying when you watch content like movies when the camera makes vertical movements.
I think what's curious is that these phones won't launch in either the US or the UK. Yet they have English as the language of choice for the packaging. Yeah other countries speak English, but just seems odd to me I guess.
Here in the Philippines Techno is known for their bang for the buck high spec for their uber cheap price phone ratio. So I'm expecting that this wont be any different. 🙃

It's only the thing making me stay away from not as established phone brands.

More competition is good (even if it looks like a rebadged phone with lower specs), who knows it might trigger an avalanche of more affordable foldables
is it really a rebadged phone tho. the internals are completely different, software is different, back layout is also different. the only thing they used was the frame and the screen. the phones have more difference between the s22 ultra compared to the s23 ultra.
When will be the 512 gb variant launched. Is it available in offline stores. How many years of Android update it will get and security updates. Will there be a support for stylus
