  • Starting to reassemble bottom end of the motor.
    New oil pump
    New rod bearings
    New crank bearings
    New crank balance shaft bearing
    Back cut transmission.

    Did the gears all come like that where did they come from

    What do you charge in total to fix the trans? Mine is starting to really grind going into 2nd. It’s a 2006 M109R with a little over 20,000 miles

      If yours is grinding, more than likely it is a clutch cable adjustment. The infamous second gear problem is that it pops out of second gear. To fix that it is roughly $3600, which includes a transmission that has been back cut in all 5 gears and hardened shift rods.

    What's the bullet proof gearbox

      We send the stock transmission out to R&D Motorsports in Florida. They magnaflux and check everything. Then they fix or replace anything bad, which is rare. All gears are back cut and then it comes back with solid shift rods and heat treated shift forks. Never have a problem again.
