@@1RED1 They were recording the refueling of the fighter jets. The capture of the UAP was secondary to what they were filming. Refueling takes place at just over 300mph at an altitude anywhere between 1 - 5 miles. Capturing a stabilized image while using a camera with a telephoto lens is very difficult. The further away the object of focus, the more difficult this is, even with digital image stabilization (if available/used, as it may decrease the quality of the video). In the full broadcast, they weren't originally filming the refueling. They happened to come across it, thought it was cool, and decided to keep filming that instead of the original subject matter. Anyone who understands the basics behind how difficult it would have been to stabilize the shot, knows this is much more difficult than just placing an iPhone on a hard surface while tracking a moving object >1mi in the sky.
@larrylezon1590 I don't dispute that. I'm sure it's difficult to film a high altitude refueling. I just don't think the object in the video is anything more than a baloon that's floating by. My point was that them tracking the plane made it seem like the baloon is flying by really fast
I saw one holding steady for about 15 minutes while I was in Ocean Beach, San Diego. Perfectly clear skies and the sun was gleaming on the metallic looking surface. Not knowing the size of it I can only guess its elevation but It seemed it was at maybe 10 to 15,000 ft. I looked away, and when I looked back it was gone.
Was watching this live on Sunday with the LA flights family. I am still amazed at Josh's camera work. KC-10's, F-35 's, AF1, C-17's and UAP's can't beat that.

It's a smaller object than the plane clearly and it's physically representative of the same spheres that have been officially cited as UAPs by the Department of Defense.
@@StudioMod Everything from that distance looks like a sphere, this is because everything you see is nothing but reflected light. That's how we see things. Reflections. From a distance, light blooms. So an object that otherwise has a lot of definition and angles will bloom into a ball of light because of reflections (and because at distance, our eyes, and cameras without telephoto lenses, have a difficult time making out definition, or defining an object). A bright white bird, for example, from thousands of feet away will look like a bright white ball of light when viewed through a camera lens and sensor, and when closer, even through the ole Human Mk I Sensor. I'm not trying to convince you that UAVs, UFOs and aliens aren't real. I don't know that, and I grew up watching Ancient Aliens and and going out into the back yard to stare at the sky, hoping I'd see something. So I hope they're real probably more than most people. I'm just trying to make it very clear that the chances of it being one or the other are DRASTICALLY imbalanced in favor of it being a bird or a drone. And when you don't ignore science and physics for the sake of fantasizing, you can come to some very real conclusions about what this likely was, or wasn't. You can test this yourself. Get a piece of cardboard, cut it into whatever shape you want. Give it definition (an octopus, for example). Paint it white. Stake it into the ground on a bright day, and move away from it until you can barely see it (probably hundreds of feet). It's just gonna look like a ball of white without a lot of definition. The way you can tell for sure that 2nd one (@ 4:38) was a bird is by the fact that the "ball of white" was going from white to grey, white to grey, at about the frequency of a bird flapping its wings. Watch it again.

I have seen to UFOs in my 60 yrs. One when I was 8 sneaking up the ladder to the roof to see what my dad was doing. It was sided and rotating towards the sun. The 2nd was at nite on the way to the Mt.Pleasant Casino & my ex-husband saw it to. PHENOMENAL STOP & GO ABILITY.!!!
Very few birds shimmer that way and present as that shape. More likely it is a camera lenses phenomenon but the presentation in each of the 3 appearances is unique, and I think makes a lens mirage a lot lower probability at least from what I’ve seen in other footage of “uaps”. This honestly might be some of the best footage I’ve ever seen. Also love the LA flights guys ❤

They exit the water just water just west of LAX at least since 2013 that I first noticed. They are classic flying saucers. The orb seen is electromagnetic plasma that completely envelopes the saucer.

I was driving a few miles northeast of LAX and I thought I hit the record button on my phone but I didn’t and didn’t realize it until the saucers already flew over my head heading northeast. I’m guessing 2000 to 3000 feet over my head. I was just too rushed. I wasn’t expecting it to be that many I counted over 12 but I have no idea how many I missed before I noticed the first one.
Yes, this is an incredible site, but what I find more incredible is the camera's zooming capabilities and the videographer's expertise to maintain a stable image at such a distance. Kudos!
@@243wayne1 have you ever tried to hand track a moving airplane at 15-20 thousand feet going 500 knots IAS? Didn't think so, let me tell you it's a lot harder than you think, as unlike tracking something close where you have to rotate quite quickly, at that distance and speed a single degree of movement can be the difference between seeing an aircraft and missing it by miles. Even with automatic tracking systems it's still not as simple as point, lock, track. You still need to have very good expertise and precision to get the traverse speeds synchronized as best as you can otherwise it's like turning on a faucet without a water connection, it's on but you didn't give it anything to work with other than maybe the kind words of "thy presso la'power switcho".
Definitely correlated, I think it's too impossible a coincidence not to. Was immediately my same thought when they first started going public. Crazy to think we've been in the dark that whole time.

Sometimes there have been UFO's at different Military Installations to. There are, places in the South East Corridor and Parts of the East High deserts of Sothern California. In Between Area 51, Plant 42 and Edwards AFB. Other bases around there. Or, south of there. way south, in the desert in California. In between Airforce and other Military Installations. If you want to also see some real stuff. Go by Catalina Island around there. They have an Underwater base there. There are lost of places in the US, around particularly Air force Installations. We, have places east of Area 51 or Area 52 and other Underground/ Secret Installations. Pick an of of the way place.

That's one of the spheres that have been seen all over the world. I saw one in person last January. It was about 300 feet away from me and silent, and flew directly away from me so fast that it was gone from visual range in about 3 seconds.
Yes but the thing is, there is Ai that tracks that and rockets all day... lol. This was a satellite... there is a ton of them you can see even at night with your eyes that are the same distance and speed.... pro tips, heh
@@dertythegrower Not even remotely correct in this case. Regular aircraft do not operate up in space. Also this was in broad daylight. And the object was between the aircraft and the camera.
That’s amazing. Great camerawork. It could be three different UAPs, or the same one. I wouldn’t be surprised if that first F-35 took off to try and catch it. Often when people spot a UAP, there’s a jet not far behind. Fantastic video!
When shocking things happen, your mind literally can't process it. I had a bad accident once (was run off the road by a semi that didn't see me and ended up rolling over a few times) and my very first thought/instinct when I climbed out was *to push the car back upright and continue my trip* (I was on a road trip... first day, actually, sigh)
Awesome footage guys! Love it. Years ago I used to photograph aircraft takeoffs and landings from the little Imperial overlook in El Segundo. Never caught any ufo or UAP activity. I have been interested in the unknown all my life. UFOs, paranormal activity, etc. Amazing stuff Mr. Josh!
I've always wondered what the Betz sphere really was. It seemed to be the same shape and material, but there has to be a huge size difference. I don't think you'd be able to see the Betz sphere from that far away.

We live close to lax and have seen these (UAPs?) on a fairly regular basis, especially like #3. Very curious as to what they are. They always ultimately head west and are actually fairly easy to spot.
@@beyondcinema we live close to the incoming pattern for the north runway between Santa Monica and DT LA. We see them going the opposite direction of the planes and sometimes very close to the established pattern - anywhere from 6 - 25k ft (est). Daylight hours, early afternoon, sometimes moving slowly, and sometimes quite fast. I don’t know what they are but we see them. Definitely not planes.
Back in August of 2002, I was in Whittier, CA. Flights into LAX would fly over regularly. Around 1pm, I saw this exact type of orb closely following a passenger jet. I thought it was a reflection in a cloud or something, but it was a perfectly clear sky. Both of my friends who were with me saw it too. Then it suddenly vanished like turning out a light. Very strange.
back in early August last year I saw a small regional airliner being tagged by two large metallic spheres. They went all behind a cloud and when they emerged into open sky the two spheres had moved up next to the plane on opposite sides of the plane!! I pilled over to the side of the road to watch. I would not have done that to just watch a plane if were by itself!
Seems like it's not as uncommon as people think. If you go look at the NARCAP (national aviation reporting center for anomalous phenomena) they've got some photos of UAP tailing passenger airplane. Digging through their archives and studies is pretty fascinating, and last I checked, they thought that pilots encountering UAP in their careers has as much chance of happening as a bird strike.
You guys give new meaning to the term "multi tasking" while monitoring traffic patterns, ATC and FlightRadar24 as well as observing everything else in the line of sight.

They mention several times in the video that the KC-135 refueling plane is nowhere near the airport. They state that it’s quite a few miles and can’t be seen with the naked eye.

It was a KC-10 Extender based out of Travis AFB, CA. They were circling around LAX for a while refueling the F-35's Great Catch

@@dertythegrower Not even remotely correct in this case. Regular aircraft do not operate up in space. Also this was in broad daylight. And the object was between the aircraft and the camera.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that first F-35 took off to try and catch it. Often when people spot a UAP, there’s a jet not far behind.

I had a bad accident once (was run off the road by a semi that didn't see me and ended up rolling over a few times) and my very first thought/instinct when I climbed out was *to push the car back upright and continue my trip* (I was on a road trip... first day, actually, sigh)

Awesome footage guys! Love it. Years ago I used to photograph aircraft takeoffs and landings from the little Imperial overlook in El Segundo. Never caught any ufo or UAP activity. I have been interested in the unknown all my life. UFOs, paranormal activity, etc. Amazing stuff Mr. Josh!

It's one of those steely orbs, like the Betz Sphere and what has been captured all over the world. Incredible catch.
I've always wondered what the Betz sphere really was. It seemed to be the same shape and material, but there has to be a huge size difference. I don't think you'd be able to see the Betz sphere from that far away.

Just something terribly out of focus flying closer to the camera…it wasn’t above or anywhere near the military aircraft.
Maybe they should send it to MSM first. If they stay away from the ufo circle with that amazing shot, they might be taken seriously. 😊

We live close to lax and have seen these (UAPs?) on a fairly regular basis, especially like #3. Very curious as to what they are. They always ultimately head west and are actually fairly easy to spot.

@@beyondcinema we live close to the incoming pattern for the north runway between Santa Monica and DT LA. We see them going the opposite direction of the planes and sometimes very close to the established pattern - anywhere from 6 - 25k ft (est). Daylight hours, early afternoon, sometimes moving slowly, and sometimes quite fast. I don’t know what they are but we see them. Definitely not planes.

Back in August of 2002, I was in Whittier, CA. Flights into LAX would fly over regularly. Around 1pm, I saw this exact type of orb closely following a passenger jet. I thought it was a reflection in a cloud or something, but it was a perfectly clear sky. Both of my friends who were with me saw it too. Then it suddenly vanished like turning out a light. Very strange.
back in early August last year I saw a small regional airliner being tagged by two large metallic spheres. They went all behind a cloud and when they emerged into open sky the two spheres had moved up next to the plane on opposite sides of the plane!! I pilled over to the side of the road to watch. I would not have done that to just watch a plane if were by itself!
Seems like it's not as uncommon as people think. If you go look at the NARCAP (national aviation reporting center for anomalous phenomena) they've got some photos of UAP tailing passenger airplane. Digging through their archives and studies is pretty fascinating, and last I checked, they thought that pilots encountering UAP in their careers has as much chance of happening as a bird strike.

@@dertythegrower and LAX has some extremely talented people. Airport operations are run like a Swiss watch and should serve an example for the rest of the state agencies that have become a cesspool of inefficiency because of the "check the box" qualification requirements.

They mention several times in the video that the KC-135 refueling plane is nowhere near the airport. They state that it’s quite a few miles and can’t be seen with the naked eye.
