It's Fanservice time!
From Bandai and SH Figuarts we get the main protagonist fromthe Square Enix Nier Automata 2B.

The reason this figure has more anime proportions is because it's based on the Nier Automata Anime, so it fits that model.

I guess this version in particular is based on the anime adaptation that came out not too long ago.
I´m willing to overlook some of the issues if at the very least it´s better constructed than the Bring arts one.
I had the 2.0 version they made but it was soo fragile and had lots of loose joints that I ended up selling it.
I really dislike the Bring Arts one. And that was version 1.0
I was considering getting 2.0 since it fixed a lot of the visual flaws but i wasn't ready to give square more money for a bad product. Sad to hear 2.0 didn't do much better.
jugue este juego recien a inicio de este año, y me encanto el juego lo malo que vi que si existian figuras de 2B (y como fan la necesitaba), pero ya no habian nuevas, pero por coinciencia empezaron a revender las figuras de bringts arts, casi la compro cuano vi que era porque ya iba a sair a la venta la figura de 2B de s.h.figuarts, y la de buzzmode, y preferi comprar una nueva en tal caso, pero la diferencia de precio era mucha con la de buzzmode y aunque pudo ser mejor la figura que entregaron aun así considero que es la mejor figura que se puede comprar de 2B, porque la de buzzmode nueva ya casi es imposible
Yikes. “Disappointing” would be a compliment. I guess my Bring Arts 2B lives to fight another day.
The best thing this version has going for her is the additional face plates which are very nice. I wouldn’t be surprised if figma takes a crack at her. Just about every other company has, including some 1/6 versions.

The faces are indeed one of the only things where the figure performs well.

Yea, figma releases are coming out at a glacial pace these days.
the only good thing is the pod have more articulation for me that is worth xD, the figure itself is just too big when she is 168cm (including heels)

Man I’m glad I got the 2.0 Version of bring arts 2b way back then. All her accessories complement this figures articulation so well. Shame on the butt tho, That’s like her main “assets” XD
Can't underplay the importance of the but on this character.
The buzzmod nailed the butt imo. I got both just 2b safe (hehe)

NieR Automata is one of my favorite stories every told! Probably not gonna pick this one up tho, maybe I'll shell out for the FLARE statue.

That's odd, have you tried heating it up with a hairdryer? Helps with frozen joints.
in my opinion the y did a good job, sculpt and didatils are great, specialy face is amazing.
articulation is very nice and clean.
the only thing to complain for me are those shoulder joints inside torso, those are balljoints and it works weard and sword not having this brelock as actual brelock like buzz mod did.
but still it is great figure

Looking at the figure and looking at the game characters head it seems to be the same also I love the game I thought about getting this figure. The only thing that’s kind of preventing me well two things that are preventing me is the price and the skirt. I wish it was like some type of fabric or movable. Technically she doesn’t wear pantsu she wears like a one piece outfit. It only connects to her clothing up top. Her dress is pretty much removable at all times I don’t know just to do maintenance or work on it.
True a removable dress would've been nice since it's an ingame feature.
While fabric is nice, we don't really get that from SH Figuarts.
@@therealPayne there is one more thing I can say I wish it came with the bigger katana and at the senior review, I might go back to playing that game as soon as I find it
Shame that Figurarts kinda fumbled with this one, I would say the Buzzmode looks better but not by much.
Buzzmod is makin one? Haven't seen that one yet.
Ok just checked, looks pretty decent but I''m not sure about Buzzmod. The one figure I own from them (Kamina) isn't too great.

Good review. I think a lot of people are a bit too nit picky with this figure. I agree it could use more accessories, but I dont really care for the 2Butt sculpt lol. I dig the anime headsculpt too. I’ll take this over the bring arts and Buzzmod.
It's still better than BringArts for sure.

I have been watching the anime, and it has turned me into a 2b simnp. i was wandering if i should buy the figure, but that cake lost the sale. they should have copied Aquas derriére mechanics, lol!
2B has a high fetish appeal, she just has all the references there. so it´s very dissapointing to see all that go to waste. if they felt it was not a good fit for their lien, they should have passed on it. i mean they do mostly SFW characters from what i see, and 2b is not SFW once you get to know her.
This is indeed supposed to be the anime version, but that butt... just not.

Also quality control on this figure does not look good.
Going to buy a 1/12 body and a 2B head and outfit for it since they look much better.
Also this figure should have come with more weapons or an additional pack.

Considering the bring arts figure you have they did release a 2.0 figure that fixed many problems the first release had,but in terms of this sh figurarts 2b it truly is a disrespect to the fanbase,bad posebility,the lack of her second sword(the giant katana), no black box or blast effects for the pod and finally that terrible disregard for the ass sculpt just makes this figure a pass to me like if you asked me my thoughts on what made 2b a memorable character id tell you three things,first being her iconic weapons and fighting style,second being her growth from a simple soldier following orders to becoming somewhat human and thirdly her iconic battle outfit with her toned sleek body cause damn even though she was girl with a natural gym body(in terms of being fit for the Olympics) dat ass did not lie,fan service or not it was a defining trait so to bastadise it like sh figurats has truly upsets me,final thing the other reason i liked the bring arts figures more is cause they were sized decently with the likes of figma like if i wanted to make a stop motion battle vid id personally have 2b facing off against artoria from fate and black rock shooter
Nice, I can see the passion for the character in your comment. It's a damn shame, even tho I never played the game I really love the design and she deserves a top notch figure. Hopefully more companies will get to take a shot at making a 2B figure. There is a buzzmod announced but I did not have the best experience with the Kamina I got from them.

Depends on the jar, but yea it's do-able.
Figuarts don't do perfect figures anymore. They're always disappointing, and I fear it's intentional so you're more likely to buy the next version they put out, hoping naively that it'll be better.
I dunno, I still enjoy most of their releases tbh.
