- We were very lucky to be allowed a peek inside Pinkyben's kitchen to watch our Aloo Paratha being freshly made.
The lady chef "Pinky" was kind enough to share her recipe secrets.
The filling for the Paratha was:
Red Onion,
Green Chilli,
Ajwain,
Amchoor,
Jeera Powder,
Fresh Green chopped Coriander,
Salt
& of course Mashed Potato.
We also had freshly made bread pakora & Punjabi Samosa it was refreshingly to find they were delightfully crisp & nicely spiced.
The proprietor of this newly opened Indian Sweets & Savouries shop was kind enough to say a few words about his vision for the future of the business.
Sadly this shop is now closed.
Mazza Original was located at 328 Bath Road, Hounslow West, Middlesex TW4 7HW
Telephone number was 020 8127 8840
(Video recorded on Wednesday 10th September 2014).
Punjabi parantha Makkan bina Bhai Butter dalna hai otherwise not Punjabi!! Yum YuM!:)
Meehtai's are Sweet Meats - I can't eat unless done with Splenda (Steevia) due to Diabetes.. Punjabi Samoosa's are called Singaras. The pastry is more rich like shortbread with Ghee. That Punjabi Parata was so labour intensive. Lots of work went into it. This is not Fast Food. It is more like Home Cooked food. Made with lots of heart and labour. Thank you to the Mazza Shop Proprietor and Parata maker. Very clean shop. Wish you success in your projected chain of Mazza shops in UK. I'd feel safe eating your foods. Elsewhere I'd end up with stomach infection/s. Best wishes from Perth, Western Australia. (exBurma)
That’s the cleanest shop and kitchen I’ve ever seen 👍👍👍
Again my favourite aloo paratha . Love it . Spicy aloo paratha with lots of butter . Thank u sir . 😀

Eatery look clean n tidy.display of food stuff is mouthwatering.quality n taste of the cannot be judged by witnessing video.
She is talking in hindi. Love it.
Food Hygiene is very important in UK... otherwise business can get heavy fines.... as the food should be safe for consumers .... excellent video.... l bet they got 5 star rating for Food Safety..... as for the Paratha 's Typical India homes make them for their families... l use olive oil and also used fried onions for that plus favour..... you can also do other fillings too....
I like your all videos
u r lucky...u got this much aloo in ur aloo pranthaa!!😝😝
First time found, at least me so far, someone speaking shuddh hindi... great.. nice coverage as always...
Use anardhana in patoto mixture also, you will get good taste. Aloo pratha serve with curd using pudina, salt, garam masala. In India patato pratha is famous too much.
That's got to be the most perfectly made paratha on your channel.
Greetings from 🇺🇸!
In London, Indian food is very expensive... We make this at home at India. Little effort needed. But its worth to taste.
I am watching this video over and over again! hahaha hoping I can eat that someday! hehe
Sir, the covid doesn't disturb you to travelling ??😐😐
Vivid does bother me.
this shop is closed Damm according to video they work hard
I feel i hv full knowledge of making all aloo pratha, bread pakora, samosa and many more items can make.
I think it's about time you upload some of your recipe videos. Then we can judge if what you say is true..

Manoj Kumar ldke, most foreigners don't know that -_-
Without ghee🙄
Very very nice video thank you sir
Thank you for watching. 🙏🏽
Thanks for replying back. I'm based near Bradford . And seen some of the places you've to eat. I should try some places down south. Can you recommend anything nice eateries i.e Southall etc ...keep making excellent videos 😎
I don't know too many places in Southall, but one excellent place in Southall I've been to many times is Saravanaa Bhavan (they have a few branches in London) the food is authentic & surprisingly cheap.
Also in Hounslow West I'd recommend Sangeetha and Chini Chor - both are good.
this place closed down a while ago
Yes, it's sadly now closed.
Excellent video
Awesome video. Appreciate it.
Punjabi paratha bahut like karte hai ham sunday ko ghar mai paratha aur dahi hamesha khate hai nice food
👌😋
Just subscribed to your channel ..nice foods by everyone. Quick question this place as you mentioned is closed. Have thy moved somewhere else or opened a new place. They seem like very nice and humble people.
Thank you for subscribing and your comment.
Yes you're quite right; sadly the shop is closed down.
The lady (Pinky) had opened a fruit and veg shop close by, but that also closed down.
I haven't been to Hounslow West recently, so maybe a viewer of this video may know if they are located anywhere else.
bro you eat so much nan and prathas...bet your one yourself...lol ... you make me so dam hungry when I watch your videos
He is being very polite....wonder if he understands Hindi? Englishman or is he something else?:):):)
Really mouth watering
feeling hungry....all punjabis mother are cooking in same style.........bhuk lg gai yr...
wow! What a clean place! Will eat there any day,
Great video.. Well done..
The aaloo Paratha I ate in todays breakfast with tea. I found it light and full of taste. The punjabi chef is putting all her energy to prepare an ' aaloo bra paratha' with neat and clean hands serving it with achaar in Southhall London, England. I hope it shoukd not be costly than one pound. They may charge extra fifty cents for tea without sugar or with sugar. The maxican burgers or hot dogs will be a good match for this light and cheap breakfast I had taken on the streets of USA and Canada.
Yummy. Everything is so squeaky clean.
"mind if i am gonna watch how it is made" ...

Cleanest Restaurant in India....
Kavita Meg Its in London not in India
Very true. Thanks! Wherever Indians go, a small part of India is re-created.My foreparents left India in 1838. From the foods, the farms, in fact, the entire infrastructure of their villages / country even praying is almost exactly like it's in India.
Kavita Meg Wow did you say 1838 ? I am history buff myself. Its amazing that you are able to retain your indian roots after a migration that happened in 19th century. You must have fascinating stories passed down to you from your foreparents. Trying to think 1838 in India was a pretty tumultuous period the victorian powers were on the uptick and the old was giving way to the new and the british passed soem pretty strict seperation laws and the english education system was officially passed in in british parliament.
+Kavita Meg it's not India. It's London xx
U say too much ok all right!!
I guess, he doesn't know Hindi. so the best reply is "OK".
y
mahsrashtra are va London main Indian food jai hind..
Why this shop is closed now?
Sadly it closed......perhaps due to lack of business.
+Travels in India, London & the UK thanks
It'z SHREE
