    That's me at 23:00 with Katayama's bike, I believe it seized. I was the far side of the bike in dark clothes. I still have the marshal's armband. A great weekend, apart from the awful crashes in practice. Thanks for posting this, as I last saw this the day it happened.

    Lots of bikes on track and you didn't need a factory bike to compete....those were the days

    シュワンツが出てくる前にスズキのエースとしてフランシスコ ウンチーニが頑張っていましたね。👍
    だけどこのレース ケニーがクラッシュしてから直ぐ赤旗が出ないとは 今では考えられない。

    En la caída el espectador que va a ayudarle, le roba el casco, es buenísimo, se lo quita de debajo de la cabeza y lo tira detrás de la valla.😆

    I think those machines are faster than MotoGP machines of 2020.

    • @GrrMeister
      @GrrMeister ปีที่แล้ว

      *These 500cc GP bikes in 1982 Produced a max of 130hp against Modern [2022] 1000cc, 4-cylinder MotoGP prototype motorcycles which produce around 240 bhp (brake horsepower) maximum with over 120 Nm of torque at 8,750 to 12,250 rpm ...say no more !*

      @@GrrMeister yeah and I'm not going to do the math but it's closer than those numbers of BHP because of power to weight I thinks. But duh old cars n bikes not as fast. I'd still take a 2 stroke race bike for fun tho

    • @cafferacer
      @cafferacer ปีที่แล้ว

      GP 500cc 2strokes in 84 and after has 185hp, weighed 285 pounds. 2022 MotoGP 348 pound bikes with 250HP now.

    Bump starting is stupid... work hard for a good grid position and it gets lost at the start, look at Mamola and others almost stranded on the start line.

    • @JukkaX
      @JukkaX 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Looking from front, who was on far right in first row? I thought he was Roberts. He was left almost last in start. Bump start really was ridiculous.. 1983 Spencer/Honda Championship was practically decided cos of Honda's better push start ability compared of Yamaha damn it.

    Great! Thanks!
    Strange to watch for me! Boet van Dulmen at the side and probably Jack Middelburg not present here?!
    These two crashed horribly in Tolbert/The Netherlands in 1984! Jack Middelburg, who won this race in 1981, died in 1984 as a result of that crash!
    I saw this happen back then!
