Love your videos. Unlucky in this video as I thought you guys probably deserved to sneak it.That said the groundsman needs to get the watering can out! Wicket was going through the top and to dry. No wonder it was ragging!
Great all round performance.. batted way better then normal and bowling was gud i think u got a 4fer but coulda had at least a 5fer but sme dodgy umpiring...well played looking forward to watching the next vid
Be interesting to do that with the Grim Rippers action too ;) There are a lot of chuckers even in the higher standards.... very rare you see a perfectly straight arm at any level there is often a tiny flex. I was watching this medium pacer it didn't seem to bend every ball but hard to tell, don't like to see it but its common at lower levels say Div 3 down. Seemed like Charnwood were missing some players I saw a game of there's recently as they are local to me and their best two batsman weren't playing here and both also bowl decent pace.

Village levels are always so enthusiastic and I love playing them. We are always convinced our appeals are out and when we get struck in front, we are sure that we were 'outside the line'. That's what makes it such fun...sometimes! However, I have always been annoyed with teams that seem to allow chuckers so much freedom to bowl. Im not talking about the 'average' chucker - which I become sometimes BUT the blatantly obvious one that magically gets such incredible speed from the elbow...
The 'nippy and quite quick' bowler that got you out is difficult to face because he's using an illegal bowling action - using more than one arm rotation to deliver the ball.
I know a bowler in Division 4 or one of the mid divisions was banned recently by the league as he was chucking it. If oppositions file a complaint then the league will review and ban the bowler accordingly.
Found it funny old mate didn’t chuck the stumps down towards the end… not like he hadn’t done it already. Double edged sword for your team when you record games… your opponent knows you will question their umpiring on the video so they won’t give anything they don’t absolutely have to (even then…) but at the same time it shows them up for double standards when they react to your team returning the favour. In a perfect world everyone walks and player/umpires call it as they see it but in village (parkies as we call it here in Australia) that’s just not how it works… even if we’ve got umpires it’s not a perfect world. Just do your best and see what happens 👍
So in Village Cricket, what do you do when there's a clear case of chucking going on. Surely that's an unfair advantage, especially if a team is at the top of the league.
First off, excellent thumb nail game. Secondly doesn’t every top of the league side have a chucker always seems the way. I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt to my bat hit the pad guy. No reason just because
To clarify, their batsman no4.....not ours! Yes , it was up there with the ginger wizard from Market Bosworth saying it never hit his glove ... you wait till I see him next....... :)
I can’t tell you how much I love these matches, village cricket truly is the best sport in the world
Your happiness is my happiness... Please share! I'd like 100k subscribers before I die....
Entertaining match! Im really enjoying this channel. That quickie for their side had a suspect action. Greetings from Australia.
Hey dude! Glad you like it.... Ashes might be one sided this time round with the new look stokes eleven!? :)
Well played bison you had a good game mate !! Quick bowler on they’re team definitely was throwing ..
Absolutely love your channel. Keep up the good work.
I do admire how you are convinced by every single appeal, exactly the same as me 🤣

Cracking game as usual. Shame us viewers couldnt see that amazing wordly catch from the Grim Ripper. Well batted Carl and NO to boost
My fave part of this video was the 'manure end'... Comedy gold!

Oh uncle Anil what a legend!
Third bowler to come in is the best I have scene throughout any of these videos
Abid... Yes looks good!
Just punched myself in my left ear thanks to the bee at 5:00. Sad thing is, this was at 10pm at night when the bees aren't out.
Is it just me who spoils it for themself by searching for the result on Play Cricket on a Saturday evening?
Got to love the bloke at fine leg joining in with an LBW appeal
The Grin Chucker ;)
Bat hitting pad, yet you could probably get another bat between the two!
Interesting use of the pause at the point of delivery for their quickie. I might suggest he could be described as a little ‘slingy’ in his action!
I was going to say "another week, another team, another chucker!"
Be interesting to do that with the Grim Rippers action too ;)

nothing "slingy" about that action there, thats just plain old chucking same as Anil's "spin" action.
@@viewfield5 Yup - agree Anil is a chucker too - lots of spinners have been watching Murali and try to copy him
I would go one better, that’s a Chuck, elbow is clearly bent.
They’ve got a ‘chucker’ there 😂
Hi! I have a business related inquiry, how can I get in touch with you?

playing village cricket in England is definitely on my bucket list

Fortunately on this occasion he was still medium
never noticed it before but since you mentioned it, I cant stop looking at the mound of poo,
Well finally you batted and bowled well on the same day....
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahatosserhahahahaha :)
Loving the content Bison! Where has Mayo gone ? Retired ?
Constantly working or at festivals allegedly. We think he's turned into a 007.....
The 'nippy and quite quick' bowler that got you out is difficult to face because he's using an illegal bowling action - using more than one arm rotation to deliver the ball.
I would have complained about the quickie wearing black under sleeve.
If I was batting I would've said take them off or I'm not facing up.
He also seemed like he was throwing it, bit up himself too
if I was unpiring in that game would been calling the lad for chucking every ball!
@@viewfield5 also with everyone running on the danger zone of the wicket, whether it be bowling or batting. C'mon it's not on & not fair
Lol took the BEST CATCH EVER and we don’t even see it good one ☝️
I know... Wish we had sky sports there.....
Does seem to be easier to be nippy if you bend the elbow...
Very enjoyable but, and I don't want to cast any aspersions, does anyone ever get called for chucking ?
Nope. Probably will cause a few on field issues without umpire neutrality calling them....
I know a bowler in Division 4 or one of the mid divisions was banned recently by the league as he was chucking it. If oppositions file a complaint then the league will review and ban the bowler accordingly.
I think you need to consider a drone.
We have a few drones in various fielding positions....
Found it funny old mate didn’t chuck the stumps down towards the end… not like he hadn’t done it already.

Here’s a tip: if the batsman is guilty they will step backwards away from the wicket. The further away they step, the more guilty they are
Haha brilliant! He was super guilty!
So in Village Cricket, what do you do when there's a clear case of chucking going on. Surely that's an unfair advantage, especially if a team is at the top of the league.
Some of the batsmen think they're umpires aswell 🤣🤦♂️
At least you got 2 lbw's!
First off, excellent thumb nail game. Secondly doesn’t every top of the league side have a chucker always seems the way. I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt to my bat hit the pad guy. No reason just because
Mr cricketing Bison. You deleted the thread where we were defending your honour. I know it's not twitter but still.
Morning squire... Not deleted on here anything except someone advertising sex! Which thread was this?
Somebody casting aspersions on your honesty.and level of cricket. The community was having none of it.
I'm sure you could have parked a london bus between batsman number 4's bat and pad and he also looked guilty as hell - shame on you batsman!!!
To clarify, their batsman no4.....not ours! Yes , it was up there with the ginger wizard from Market Bosworth saying it never hit his glove ... you wait till I see him next....... :)
Love the "manure end " ...
Haha! Hey dude...
that new guy looks like a young dustin hoffman
Haha I see that!
