    Hi Martin, thank you for another excellent video.
    This model looks absolutely epic, I love the sounds, in a way it’s quite relaxing.
    Great job

    10 all the way absolutely amazing model luv it to bits i thought you were going to say it took at least two weeks to build and I was very shocked when you said 7_8 hours wow! That's some achievement. Well done should be on tv wish they would make programs like this. Anyway you take care catch you next time around 👍

      Hey, I’m really glad you love it and I just couldn’t agree with you more, this is just something else 😀
      Haha that’s brilliant, and I’m not gonna lie, when I looked at it online and saw how many tiny parts it had, I did think it’s going to take me like a week to build 😅
      It’s all that metal model experience and excellent instructions that help a lot.
      And thank you so much for that, much appreciated, and I wish I was on TV doing models 🤣
      Indeed, have a great day.

      You are more than welcome, it’s my absolute pleasure 😊
      And you’re so right, their designers team deserve a raise, I’d never be able to come up with something so amazing.
      And you will love it, of course the specific areas will need a bit of tweaking to make it all work well, but I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that since you’ve built a few of their kits already, but if you need any advice, I’m more than happy to help out and enjoy it when it comes to it 😊

    Great vid, many thanks, I've literally discovered Mecrob today, instantly ordered the Scavenger and will 100% get the Aethercore at a later date as it looks fantastic. I think I might disable the bell as that would do my head in ! What do you reckon to maybe some UV reactive fluid in the salt shaker & a small custom fit UV light where the little orange light currently is ?

    • @MartinsAssemblyHaven
      @MartinsAssemblyHaven  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Hey Thomas, you’re more than welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed the video 😊
      Ha what a brilliant discovery you have made, they’re models are so good it’s unreal, such good quality and the Scavenger looks awesome, enjoy the build when it comes to it 😀
      Haha that’s fair enough, and it’s super easy to disable, you don’t even need to take the parts off, just bend the spring away from the gear and that’s it, you’ll understand once you have it.
      Oohhh man the UV fluid idea sounds amazing, that would be moving so gently, sounds relaxing. As for the light I can’t see why not, but personally wouldn’t bother with that, but it’s up to your own taste of course 🙂

    Is it only powered by usb plugging it into the wall? Or is there a rechargeable battery built in also? Nice if you wouldn’t have to plug it into all the time.

    • @MartinsAssemblyHaven
      @MartinsAssemblyHaven  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Unfortunately there’s no rechargeable batteries in it, so it only works by usb cable being plugged in.
      But I’m sure you could customise it because there’s a bit of space in the bottom enclosure 🙂
      And that’s a great idea btw, I’m gonna pass it on to Mecrob.

    • @perry5899
      @perry5899 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @MartinsAssemblyHaven I wouldn't think it would take much power to run it for a few hours on battery. Thanks for the answers - think I am going to give it a try, I love putting together models. Never tried something quite like this.

    • @MartinsAssemblyHaven
      @MartinsAssemblyHaven  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah there’s no way it takes that much power because there doesn’t seem to be that much strain on the motor at all. And you’re more than welcome, and if you ever decided to customise it and have rechargeable batteries in it, I’d love to know how it goes.
      And I believe you’d love this kit, especially if you’ve build a few metal kits in the past and just like something a bit different 🙂

    Can you turn the bell sound off? The mechanical sounds are great, think that bell sound would drive me a little crazy after a bit.

    • @MartinsAssemblyHaven
      @MartinsAssemblyHaven  วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey Perry, you actually can yes, and it’s very easily done. All you’d have to do is unscrew 1 screw and take of a part or simply bend a spring away from the big shiny gear that’s at the back 😊
      You’d understand what I’m talking about if you had it.

    • @perry5899
      @perry5899 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @MartinsAssemblyHaven got it, thanks. Just making sure you can turn it off without shutting down other parts of the model- that it’s not interconnected with something

    First time seeing this type of model build, reminds me of the models my grandfather built, but he made most of the components in his garage workshop. I really like this but I think it is let down with the cross head screws, sort of spoils the aesthetic I would have preferred old timey brass slotted screws, apart from that a fantastic model, I'm off to go check them out, thanks.

    • @MartinsAssemblyHaven
      @MartinsAssemblyHaven  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey, I thought I had replied, but clearly closed the app too fast 😅
      Aw that’s sounds so lovely and brilliant that your grandfather was able to built something like that using his own materials, now that takes talent 👏
      And tbh you could use your own screws for this model if you find the right sizes etc.
      But nevertheless I’m glad you like the model, and it is quite amazing, very neat and amazing quality.
      I hope you find some models from Mecrob that you like and enjoy the build/s 😊

    Hated the build music so much I had to leave a comment - the music doesn't fit the relaxing vibe I'm seeking in model making videos. Please consider breaking the build in to segments and talk about the steps. Folks would rather hear your voice IMO. The time-lapse is off-putting at full length as well. Nice job on completing the model.

    • @MartinsAssemblyHaven
      @MartinsAssemblyHaven  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey Troy, thanks very much for your feedback 🙂
      Trust me it’s hard to please everybody, so I can only do my best, as for the music choice, it’s the type of music that goes with these sort of steampunk models, but when you actually build it yourself, of course I assume there’s no music in background to help you focus and build it in a calm and relaxed manner, just like myself.
      And thank you very much for that, I absolutely love it 🙂

      If you’re not into model kits like that then that’s fair enough, everyone’s allowed an opinion 🙂
      I’m glad you asked because I actually did turn it on yesterday and today a couple of times to admire it and show it off to my family,so yeah, it’s better to say nothing instead of assuming 😉
      And if you don’t understand how model attachments work so you can get it off the shelf and do other things with it, then I can help you out and explain 🙂
