아..... 진짜 난 20년 넘게 쓸데없는 고집으로 기타 헛쳤구나란 생각 또들게 만드는 영상이네요;; 베링거 믹서는 극혐하고 미니앰프헤드로 소스 받아 봐야 소리 열악하다는 등 고정관념에 사로잡힌거 완전히 부숴 버려주셨고, 제네릭은 메탈기타 연주 모니터링에는 많이 어색한데 시원하지 않은데 하던 생각도 바꿔주었고, 무엇보다 마스터오브퍼펫츠는 처음부터 끝까지 애드립 빼고 무조건 다운피킹만 해야 한다는 강박으로 수십년 연주해온 제게 있어서 이건 충격 그 자체입니다. 키가 크신가? 싶을 정도로 호리를 곧게 펴고 좋은 자세로 연주하시는 것도, 다운피킹폼이 작은손에서도 아주 야무지게 제대로 하고 있고 리듬감도 매우 맛있게 하시고, 겉멋이나 쿠세하나 없이 음을 자유롭게 가지고 노는 피킹을 보고 있자니 감탄과 존경이 나오네요. 나이가 몇이신지 알 수는 없지만 앞으로 기타생활에 있어서 아름답게 피어나실 수 있을거란 생각을 해봅니다. 너무 바르고? 곱게? 메탈 연주잘 하고 계셔서 왠지 먹차고 감동입니다.

I can hear all sorts of little details she's catching that make me realize I was playing the song slightly wrong for many years. Simply cannot say enough about how great Izzyful is! 누군가 그랬던가. 20대때 듣던 음악을 평생 듣는다고....25년전 자주 들었던 음악이 Metallica(1~5집), Megadeth, Extreme, Dream theater였는데 나이가 들수록 잔잔해지기는 커녕 더 극단적이거나 드라마틱하거나 프로그레시브한 DT, Opeth, Riverside 음악을 듣네요. 오늘 운좋게 알게되어 구독했습니다. 기회되면 저 밴드들 음악도ㅎㅎ
