Check out the gentlemen from the 50's through late 70's. UNTOUCHABLE! Charlie had one of the greatest lead vocals in ANY type of music. This performance is after he suffered two strokes.
Not the Country Gentleman I remember from the 1870’s but man these fellows are lightning fast. The vocal harmonies are not as good as I remember but still great. Charlie Waller has always been one of my favorites.
DARIN ALDRIGE ON MANDLIN FROM CHERRYVILLE NC FINIEST SON WAY TO GO MAN.....

Greatest Blue grass band ever
1970’s is what I recall. If I saw them in 1870 that would have been front page news. I still get the newspaper….
Fondly remembering Charlie Waller. Quite a gentleman and always loved his music.

Thumbs up, goes straight to my Bluegrass playlist!
As harmonically earth shattering as Twist And Shout by the Beat Brothers. Favored for sure.
Very nice guys! One of the best versions Ive seen.
Big Bruce!!!!
Love you guys.
This is VERY good.
Love this song
Obviously Charlie was very ill but still put on a show! Classic Gentlemen!
And the chorus to The Weight Curtis, don't miss that parallel.
BIG BRUCE!!!
WHET EVER DUDE
Oh yeah. That's feasible.
Not many bluegrassers can learn from dictation.
Well I think from about 2000 or 2001 on he always sat on a stool on stage because he couldn't stand for long periods of time.
