Thank you so much, it has been one of the most entertaining builds I have played in the last two seasons (Necro fan here). I am already trying it in the new season, and I have to say that it is leveling very very well.
@@AngelRRB thanks for coming. It will still be strong this season. I have included two thorns builds in my latest upload with links for your reference.
dang, I missed the second pit event on maxroll, but either way the winner was clear. :) Thanks for this season, you and your build have been a revelation to hardcore players. p.s. and for me it was a discovery that Blizzard for more than a year do not fix the Wave bug with shadow aspect - DoT is updated instead of stacked, because of which dps is at least 2 times lower than expected. I think next season will be doable to complete 140 pit with Thorns minions, even with the nerfed Shadowblight aspect. By the way, I noticed that you don't always focus mobs that give out defense aura - examples in this video at 5:15 and 8:20 you have a Tendrils and Blood Mist for corpses - just in case, i'll mention that there is a pink glow around such elites
Shout out to the shadow surfer as well. Good point on the defense aura mobs. I always find something when I watch my recordings, that was probably why I wanted to create a lazy build :) I definitely could've pushed more with my updated gear and setup. So here is the story. After I cleared the 134, I went ahead to try 135 quite some times, and was able to get to the boss with about 5min left, which means with the best boss spawn I could get it. Since it was too RNG dependent, I decided to get a better weapon, and re master worked one of my rings so I could hit 100% attack speed without the 5 attack speed in my paragon. With the freed paragon points, I replaced the territorial glyph with the warrior glyph and maxed it out (since this build doesn't have much additive damage, this change gave me about 11% x more damage). And I went in confidently but was only able to get to the boss at ~4 min left after several tries. I was a bit confused and thought it might be due to monster and map RNGs. Well it was because I forgot to put on the reanimation (40% x) aspect on my new weapon. And you guessed it, I ripped my character right after I put on the aspect. So I would say, 135 was totally in the bag if I gave it some good tries, and potentially 136 if I hit really good RNGs.
@@sinitarpku oh, I just remembered one more thing: in your build (link in description) I see three points for “Inspiring Leader” passive (gives you and minions extra crit chance) - maybe its a mistake or I dont know something? Crit chance has no effect on thorns
I will copy paste what I just wrote above about what could've been better. "So here is the story. I might skip this one, or only play it for the seasonal journey.
Should perform similarly to S4. Considering other minion builds are nerfed (and also bosses), we can call it a slight buff. I just uploaded a video talking about it. th-cam.com/video/OTiR-Ltp-PE/w-d-xo.html

@@fpsthirty yeah, those points don't matter much
Well played

yo bro! what do you think about thorn necro in S5? it will be better than in S4?
