I have owned 2 zj's a 94 and a 97. 94 had a straight 6 one of the greatest off-road Motors ever made. But the 5-2 had the punch. And God damn they were reliable as shit. I now have a 2014 very different but still drives like a Jeep. Still great to see people appreciating some of the best SUVs ever made!
I enjoyed the video, you made that Grand Cherokee really work. There was the one section that you came down that I honestly probably wouldn't have done myself as it looked like it was pretty steep.
@@jeremyzhang2504 depends on the trim, you can get both base models with a 30 up front and a 35 rear. The xj just has a different pinion angle on the front

I can't even imagine how steep those hills must be... I sometimes also make a video of my offroading, in reality it is scary, on video it looks like a piece of cake...

Zjs deserve more love and recognition, you're getting the same thing as a cherokee, only real difference is the styling and tire clearance.

People talk smack about the zj but there ain't nothing more powerful and reliable for that price
These things can do alot of crazy things especially if you put a long arm kit in it

Dont use your brake for downhill it will kill you. Put in 4lo and trans 1 only and you will made it much easier
