Religions need followers. That is why religions are so vague about their descriptions of the allegedly wonderful afterlife. They lure people to join religions by promising eternal joy in the afterlife. But if the religions would offer specific descriptions of that 'joy,' it would not be what some people want. Therefore, being more specific would mean to lose followers.
Naser gave this man the truth but he is unable to receive it. Naser is not a religious nut, he understands bc he has seen. So get over the question is there a higher intelligence behind the creation. The question is why does God create? Why does he condescend to make the universe and His children?
Eternal life is true being, of true self, true genuine feeling in spirit that can be found & experienced in immersion of music & art(energy is of life, symbology is language of Spirit). You will not have eternal life if is not already in you -- those of whom are blessed, nourish this state daily in rejoicing, dance, expression; being. THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS WITHIN YOU -- not all find it. Requires a key.

I think we have to be very careful when talking about eternal life to define it properly. Even if eternal life is true that doesn't necessarily mean we will get an extension on the life we have already lived after we die. Eternal life could just be a repetition of the old life we once had. History could just keep repeating itself but with nothing new being added to the mix. There is the possibility however that each repetition could be slightly different. We can only talk about possibilities because we don't really know the truth. If we knew the truth then we wouldn't have to keep guessing all the time. The truth is real. It is not something that is just dreamed up in the human mind.

Or You were created from nothing?
or God created you?
@@NotesofKhan I don't know how life started, neither does anyone else. But when you think about it, our galaxy is so mind bogglingly big and it's only one of 200 billion galaxies in the observable universe. Do you really think Earth is the only planet with life?
I see no physical or logical evidence that the God's that men worship even exist. The gospels were not even written by eye witness accounts but rather well after the events. I think it was the apostle Paul that came up with the idea of eternal life in paradise as a way to get more people into his congregation. Religion claims to have all the answers but no evidence. Whereas science gains so much knowledge not by invoking the supernatural but understanding how nature works.

Well,my question was not how life started,
It was "who created you (a living mind/your consciousness)?"
There are 200 billion galaxies and the distance between each of them is also mindboggling then how can we say that it has no Creator? Its like a thing exists without a cause
Now they say Big Bang did occur while earlier scientists though the universe was eternal so the Universe did not always exist and even Big bang is understood in different ways and different models try to explain a philosophical question rather a scientific one so scientists are also philosophizing and by clinging to idea of "Scientist showing the way to humanity" you are Worshipping blind Science or a philosophy which states that "All that exists is what can be seen"
I know enough physics so I am not a rejector of science in any way but God is not supernatural but someone who can be found rationally and if the reality of God is accepted then there is no problem accepting supernatural events as well.
Paul did not invent the concept of God, even a child knows that anything that exists has a cause and all ancient people knew God in some form
why not atheistic ancient People? but SCIENCE knows it all
sorry for the length of answer
