the light strip that you are talking about (I think) is in the player's entrance tunnel, (west side) and it is the first light on the left on the ground, it is now installed and working. great video as always
I should point this out and hopefully no one has already told you lol, on SS Skies video I saw the new advertising boards in the stadium set up on the south, north, and east stands. Worth a look or more of a look next time mate 👍
Hi Nick There are 4 benches and not 3 as you mentioned, 1 is hidden by the burger van. The TV's look amazing, in fact all the stadium and site is looking amazing & your videos from last night show how stunning the stadium looks at night and during misty weather. Many thanks for your dedication in bring us these stunning video's. Stephen😊
COYB, let's have a new manager bounce this evening. I hope you enjoy the match, Nick. With so many Irish attending, let's hope the "luck of the Irish" has an effect too.
Great vid as always! I wondered if the scaffolding was being used for access rather than mobile working platforms (MEWPs/Flying Carpets) in light of the accident with Michael. There are probably far more obstructions to negotiate now, so likely more of a danger of collision or entrapment. Seems like massive overkill, but Safety First...
Think the annoying light strip has been fixed. If I am correct, Dave was referring to the strip on the floor in the players entrance (middle tunnel) to the left as looking from the mersey.
Once we’re in the stadium will you be covering the demolition and future work of Goodison Park. It would be interesting to see what happens. Great videos as always
Great video again nick, I wonder if the North east corner work is to do with the drainage system off the roof. Seems to be alot of work being done. Wonder where the everton emblem is going to be located on the ground.
Great video again because of David. Leaves me with one question for you both. Is all the scaffolding the last work of LOR or is it Everton? Since they 'll be working there some time, when will the coating of the roof begin and whose responsibility is that? Thank you guys 👍
She sure looks beautiful in the winter sunshine. We are so lucky to be moving to such an outstanding location. Regarding the "benches", they look similar to the "benches" positioned near and around the three graces. On those "benches", there are the names of some of the Ocean Liners that were registered in Liverpool, either Cunard, or White Star Liners i think. Could there be something similar in mind for the "benches" mentioned by Lord Badcock?
👨🎓🕵♂. If you're referring to permanent benches rather than the temporary picnic benches, then I can say that the plans stated that the benches would have inscriptions and mottos. I guess we'll only find that out when we have the chance to get up close and personal with them.
Just my personal opinion but I think the main entrance black box should have been a little larger/wider. I absolutely love the stadium btw so no hate here.
City really let us down supporting this stadium build. Look at the old tramlines in the build, they could have actually incorporated a tram line to the city centre while construction was going on.
Re last night's night pics and the glow from the lights on the pitch. Amazing how many troll LFC fans are saying BM has a red glow.......since when have they played in crimson/pink 😮😂
Great video as always Nick 👍 Just got in after Villa game positives and negatives on show tonight..!! We definitely need some new players in the window, An attacking left back as Myko gets in good positions and overlaps and then plays the ball backwards..!! Docure is by far one of the worst midfielders in the PL, can't even pass a ball 5yards and gives the ball away or loses it to many times in a game to count..!! Jack Harrison is a complete waist of space m, no invention, can't be a fullback, loses the ball every time he has it, a waist of a domestic loan move (who is one of Everton's top earners on £90thousand a week WTF..!! And DCL is absolutely awful up front, hardly wins flick ons and the amount of chances he misses without even hitting the targeti, tonight on 94mins he was 5yards out completely unmarked with an open goal to aim at and blasts it over the crossbar..!! Calvert-Lewin looks completely disinterested at the minute, it's obvious he just wants away from the club, plays with no heart or desire..!! Never seen him look so disinterested in all the time I've been watching him at Everton..!! On the positive note we actually started trying to play football, no kick'n'rush football, players actually looking for team mates , 1st shoots of patterns of play, The atmosphere at Goodison was like chalk and cheese from Moyes to Dyche, although still not at full speed for the 1st time in months us fans were actually cheering and singing rather than looking like we were at a funeral, with no enthusiasm which had been slowly but steady sacked out of us by Dyche and his anti-football tactics..!! Absolutely SOUL-DESRTOYING under Dyche...And what made it even worse was his bumchums and mates in the media who forever made him out to be the Messiah but they didn't watch his football every week..!!
Ewan: it's designed to be in keeping with the looks of most of the brick warehouses in the area, which had and have vertical lines of black windows, examples of which can still be seen at the Albert Dock, Titanic Hotel and the old Tobacco Warehouse. Windows at the lower levels would be an irrelevance for the vast majority of the stadium as they hide only room walls, corridors and stairways. So, the panels are perforated for ventilation, wind-mitigation and obscured views, with much less cost and less maintenance required. The only thing that is different from the geometrically uniform positions of windows in the examples given above is that the strips of panels are irregularly patterned horizontally. You will find that at least one of the new apartment tower-block builds in Liverpool Waters nearer the city centre also has the same trajectory of the regular vertical warehouse window patterns up the horizontal floors.
Wheres the character ??? All i see is some bricks and a silver roof.... The best complimant i can give it is, it blends in well with the filthy dock yards, imagine designing a new stadium and this is all you could come up with 😂😂😂
DISABLED SPACES: This sounds terrible, and I apologise in advance if people are offended, but why are there so many disabled spaces at the new stadium? There are more disabled spaces (279) than in any other stadium in the country. Plus the disabled bays seem disproportionately large. Also there are 95 baby changing facilities. 95! Come on 🙄. Do they think there are gonna be 95 babies getting nappies changed in the stadium AT THE SAME TIME!?
Yep, you’re right. It sounds terrible, I’m not offended though, just a little perplexed why you think 279 is too many in a stadium that will hold 57,000 plus. No other stadium in the country has enough disabled spaces so Everton have got it right. Some disabled people need more space to move around and stay safe, it’s not rocket science. I don’t think the baby changing facilities have to be in constant use to justify their existence, just like the faith rooms, or even the fire extinguishers.
When considering facilities such as disabled areas, baby changing and faith rooms etc I think one has to remember that the stadium is designed to be multipurpose. You may not need that many facilities for a football match but what about concerts, conferences etc??
For context, doing the maths, each disabled space takes up the space of 5.8 standard seats. (Taking the pitch-side lower east stand disabled section as an example, this has 51 spaces including disabled & companion seats, while the same area would fit 296 standard seats.) So the 279 disabled spaces at the ground is equivalent to 1619 standard seats. Therefore it’s not just a case of the more disabled spaces the better, for each disabled space that is added 4.8 Everton fans are missing out on a seat.
I love that people stop you and have a chat it's great and another fab video m8
Thanks Phillip, I enjoy chatting to people too 👍🏻
I like it when we hear people approach you or car horns beeping etc. It gives the uploads an even better atmosphere about them .
It looks amazing! It’s been amazing to follow the project from scratch. Here’s to many happy days and nights in the stadium when it opens.
16:45 - What a beautiful shot!
Thanks Mr D, every time I see the stadium it impresses me, its brilliant
The pitch is looking good and the screen ultra 4hd brilliant. Top video Mr. D. 🏐🇮🇪👍🏻C. F. C.

Still sceptical that the pitch will be ready for February’s first 24:16 test match, I’m sure it will. Great content Nick 👌🏼
Getting famous now all those folk wanting pics!!
Another great vid
Cheers
Great update yet again Nick 👏
Great vid as always got me efc stone made up x

Blue sky and sunshine. it must be photo shopped. 😂
Why haven't the external temporary barriers on the road side been removed?
great again
Another great video Nick 😊 UTFT
That is one great photo
Hi Nick
Great video’s. Have they started laying the Everton way yet.
Bought one for my dad Ronnie Wilson who passed away. Big Everton fan.
Hey hey there Mr blue.

Yes, correct re the location.
Once we’re in the stadium will you be covering the demolition and future work of Goodison Park. It would be interesting to see what happens. Great videos as always
Yes mate I will be 👍🏻
Those gates in the fence are for calamities not allowed to seal off a whole area.
The picnic benches are for the scran van for the workers on site
Could listen to her Dublin accent all day.
Thanks Nick, yes the black line around the edge are the advertising boards. As Skies got a closer look last night.
Thanks for taking a look.
Lol 😂😂 burger 🍔 off
Great video again nick, I wonder if the North east corner work is to do with the drainage system off the roof. Seems to be alot of work being done. Wonder where the everton emblem is going to be located on the ground.
Im a red but i will miss ur vids on this
Black box attached to turnstile area is work access turnstile
Hi Nick (again)
Could these gates, be for emergency egress, as part of the Health & Safety plan, ensure the stadium can be cleared asap
Thanks
Stephen

@davidbadcock2225 Ahh.
There trying out the plugins for out door events
Just my personal opinion but I think the main entrance black box should have been a little larger/wider. I absolutely love the stadium btw so no hate here.
Quite a lot of turnstiles either side Craig.

Great video Nick and on the blue lights on the North West Corner the seventh blue light still isn't working will they fix it
Of course they’ll fix it
They are waiting for Bob
Are they definitely putting advertising boards on the bottom of the 2nd tier like in the renderings?
Are the Dock wall gates open
If you mean the Regent Road entrances, No. If you mean the gates from Nelson Dock to Sandon Half-tide, yes but with control valves in place.
Which stand looks the best to watch a game or are they all the same?
Lee - there is an app that you can download to see the view from every seat, very easy to use too.
Going down!!
Mybe there for emergency services for quickness
Dint like placement of ad boards.its a barrier between players and fans
Yep the whole "fans closer to the pitch" talk is pure BS.
Re last night's night pics and the glow from the lights on the pitch. Amazing how many troll LFC fans are saying BM has a red glow.......since when have they played in crimson/pink 😮😂
You could see it from miles away mate, looked boss lighting the skyline up Red 👌🏻🔴
I was worried about the "red" lights at one point but it is more of a Magenta when you look closely...
@@rosse6705 you must be colour blind.....
@@mikeoglen6848all it is was the ultra violet lights on the pitch to help the grass grow, isn’t it??
@@rosse6705 your clutching at straws now 😂😂. No way was that skyline Red
