@@followxiaofei I'm glad you invited me! We always have fun. There were several places where having a TON of water inside the boat kept us from flipping over a pillow rock. But we only hit the rock because the boat was too heavy to move out of the way, because of all the water. Hopefully next time we will have something better for whitewater.
I love those happy and energetic people who come to Taiwan and show us many different ways to enjoy our own country. They have many good values of life that we can learn from. This is the first first person view kayaking video I watched. I enjoyed it very much, most likely because you edited out the boring part. I went canoeing a few times in US and missed the experience a lot. Thanks for sharing.
I really wish there was much better Class IV-V rafting in Taiwan. I love a good 8000+ CFS turbine release day! Even just tubing has been pretty slow for me in Taiwan. Fun sometimes, but pretty slow. We usually trace up to Golden Grotto and raft out; that's nice. Tried to tube down the river that cuts through Pingxi because the train system takes care of that car/scooter shuttle situation. But that was SLOW and the water was pretty gross. Oh well, something to do when visiting other countries. Oh, just a note-- your paddle is upside down for a good portion of the video. My cousins and I did this on the same river about 35 years ago when a typhoon hit Kaohsiung. We almost got killed. That is an adventure we never forgot.

Well done ! It looks like kayaking is a interesting sports that require some skillful coach like Wade to lead. It is nice that Xiaofei rate the every section of many river by its difficulty, explain what equipment suit for different rate to avoid any danger in Kayaking. I think government can ask Xiaofei to help promoting this sports in Taiwan.

台灣不論淡水或海水, 九成以上是危險水域, 所以才無法強力推廣水上活動。更重要的是, 進行水上活動的人, 很多都沒有足夠的應變防備能力。幸好前幾天通過國家免責法案了 , 這表示具備能力跟信心的朋友, 可以盡情冒險而不用擔心違法了。
應該也不是不推廣 不應該用刻板印象解讀
而是台灣河流湖泊雖然算多 但很多都是急促短距離
實際上比較安全能推薦給大眾的 實際上也沒有這麼多
反而是溯溪之類的熱門度一直都不錯

我不覺得欸，台灣天氣變化很大
通常是經由社團帶領獨木舟活動，裝備也和飛行傘類似，價位並不普級，居住空間無收整條件。偶有入門體驗活動，那會在極安全水域。稍有問題或意外就會被消禁撻伐，承擔責任和風險都很大，消退意願。等等，國情，民生居住條件和大環境.....之類之類等等等等....
我們是海島國，但是住著一堆旱鴨子，所以不興盛，十分可惜。

謝謝小飛與大山。以前的荖濃溪泛舟是縣政府主導推廣的活動，比秀姑巒溪泛舟更刺激，可惜88風災後河道地形變化很多，政府後來也沒繼續推廣了。
謝謝小飛，過去荖濃溪每年都有泛舟的商業活動，開始前會先請怪手把河道濬深跟清除建築廢棄物，像是鋼筋、鋼板、漂流木、竹頭、混凝土塊，以增加泛舟活動的安全性，大家可以看11:49，就有一塊大鋼板。另外荖濃溪泛舟是需要跟茂林國家風景處申請的歐~ 大家除了注意安全外，也要注意合法性歐~
在11:49水中的物體是樹的一部分. 但你時對, 我擔心會有水中的金屬。 根據我對應用程序網站的理解，它僅適用於業務運營商，而不適用於個人。

今天在路上與你擦身，當看這輛車時很興奮，真棒
年輕時曾經在一次颱風過後到花連的秀姑巒溪泛舟、看著滔滔急流本想打退堂鼓、但參加者眾有一百多人、大家興奮溢於言表！有不少人還參加過數次、尤其以颱風過後超刺激更引人入勝的說法、讓我們也鼓起勇氣加入泛舟行列、沿著蜿蜒曲折的湍急河道、既驚險又有趣！一行人均驚叫連連！而且我也被別的搗蛋鬼所泛的舟撞下溪中、也有其他落水者、因我們都穿著救生衣、掉入湍急的溪流彷彿站立在水中滿有趣的、但旋即被旁邊隨行的救生艇拉上舟、秀姑巒溪沿岸景觀美不勝收直到出海口！
感謝小飛喚醒塵封的記憶！年輕時我也是中量級登山客！小飛去的山有些也爬過！但朔溪卻未曾有過！自己的體力目前可能無法勝任較為難行的瀑布之旅！
「仁者樂山、智者樂水」小飛兼俱智仁勇！經過他的畫面才發現我們未曾開發的觀光資源、歐美遊客應該趨之若鶩吧！
花蓮水濂洞的行程也是在太魯閣國家公園裡面、一窪一窪的溪水有如藍寶石般清澈而美麗、以前也曾在那如人間仙境般的地方露營過！屈指已經是三十多年的往事。⋯經過多次的大地震、不知水濂洞無恙否。⋯小飛俠可否一探究竟呢？
我想在太魯閣探索更多...我發現許多有趣的地方有衛星圖像......但因為它是一個國家公園，我們被禁止探索河流。

荖濃溪泛舟十年前就有了，不過都是以六龜區那邊的發展居多，甚至還有帶人泛舟的公司在那邊經營，後來因為莫拉克風災之後整個停擺，蠻可惜的。

小時候會去"大甲溪"玩,大部份是去釣魚.
但,每次回家,父母都會大叫,很危險.
台灣小朋友從小被教育要遠離危險
以後會去大甲溪玩獨木舟. 下游有很多水壩但梨山那邊很棒
我自己很愛遊山玩水，有了孩子後，大概在他們5歲左右的年紀就開始帶他們到處玩，而我老婆也總是緊張的要死 XD
例如浮潛，我會挑選安全海域，並且幫孩子添購合適的安全裝備，下水前也會告訴他們要注意的事項，在確保安全的前提下，台灣的山、海及溪流其實沒那麼可怕。
此外，藉由戶外活動拉近親子距離，教育他們珍惜自然、愛護動植物，體會到人與大自然的關係，這是在學校及城市中都學不到的美好經驗：)
我小時候爸媽倒是很常帶我們去溯溪走祕境，很棒的體驗，長大才發現我們跟其他人的童年不一樣，台灣小孩都被禁止上山下海xD
