The Alberta liberals will not be re-elected. Boissenault; remember, suggested that Albertans switch to heating oil to redeem the same carbon tax credits as the Atlantic provinces. Not his dumbest statement but his riding, Edmonton Central, has had enough of his loyalty to a party whose main objective is to destroy Albertans advantage as the most productive province and has afforded them a high standard of living. This summer is different from past summers because many Canadians are working multiple jobs to pay bills. Now taxpayers learn elected politicians have privileges either winning or losing their jobs , politicians continue job security, permanent pensions, benefits.... that not just ANGER 99% working class Canadians, they are SPEAKING OUT.

I'm from BC and Christy Clark ran her course before losing to the NDP. I never considered her a 'Liberal', but more of a Socred which is a hybrid conservative. Basically the Liberal party here was populated by Socreds. Socred: Social Credit Party member. Frankly, I don't think I could take another 4 years of her antics. In addition, I don't think she has the wherewithal to run the country. Just because you can win an election, doesn't mean you can govern. Trudeau is a good example of that. By the way, if you didn't see Biden's decline you've not been paying attention. That debate went exactly the way a lot of people thought it would go. If you look at a film of him in 2020 and compare it to his press conferences the difference is alarming. Even the video of Biden accepting the debate challenge had more cuts in it than a feature length film. Trump might be a protectionist, but when he had the oval office Canada and the world were safer. In just 3 years look at the wars that have sprung up under Biden and look a the decline of their military. Our military is in the same mess under the Liberals only a thousand times worse. Right now the world needs conservatives in office to restore the damage done by the liberals and progressives here in Canada, in the US and in Europe. . It's happening in Europe right now and it will happen here as well and it doesn't matter what name is under the conservative banner, Trump, Le Pen or Poilievre. We can always work out our trade differences, but there are things we cannot work out if left too late.
I remember Christy Clark. She stepped back from politics for a few years and was a radio host for CKNW.
When Gordon Campbell lied and changed the GST and PST to an HST, he tanked in the polls, reaching Trudeau like numbers.
Christy Clark hinted on radio that he should step down, only to be asked if she would run. After humming and hawing for a few weeks she ran and became the new leader of the BC Liberal party. She then won the next election with a majority, then won a minority in the next election but failed to hold power when the NDP and Greens formed a coalition.
So, to sum up, she took over a Liberal party that was deeply unpopular because of one tax that was introduced (Carbon tax) and one tax increase (HST, but offered rebates to make it revenue neutral), and a leader with a history of scandle (like a DUI while in office when he was on a vacation in Hawaii). The party was in office for 10 years and showing fatigue. Clark kept that party in power for 6 more years.
Christy Clark keeping a ten year long Liberal party in power following a bad leader, unpopular taxes, and a history of scandle is what she does.
PS. She never cancled the carbon tax in BC. when she was Premier.
