Thanks for posting this video. I have been following this American Sisters of Mercy tour online thanks to the concert goers who have posted the videos on TH-cam.
I felt an odd emptiness when the American dates had all been played... I think it was a success? i hope? I don't have access to their books, so can't say how it worked out for them financially... But it certainly didn't seem like I was the only one happy to be seeing them in Pittsburgh.
First thing: This sounds great. And even more so coming from the great state of TX. (Never been but I do love ya!) No reason to give for thinking they might be the best band ever, but the last two years have shown me I'm not alone in thinking so. (The only band I watch for an hour each night because I can tune in and on but I cant ever seem to turn it off. Smart but not boring, almost metal but not too dumb (or too smart) for its own good.)
I know its not what he meant, or claims to have meant, but the chant at the end is like "F*ck me, drop the bombs already. At least something would be different."...
@@archstanton3468 They never had a drummer from day one but their live performances definitely need a bass player. There is too much programmed stuff going on live. That’s a classic case of Andrew Taylor cutting costs.

The sound is better than in 1985 at Zeche in Bochum.

WOW! There she is again.
I can't breath..., wish she was my sister.
Bloody awful, get a live drummer(and bass player)...I'd want half my money back after buying a ticket for this!...
