This artist and this song....criminally underrated. The lyrics are deeply moving and speak to me on another level. She deserves so much more recognition.
I think she's starting to get a lot more recognition in Korea. I've seen her appear a lot more lately on different programs. Most ballad singers don't get much recognition by international fans (just look at Davichi - hugely successful in Korea but not known that well outside) - but Koreans love ballad singers
Further to my comment. I do not know why but there are very few songs that affect me to this extent that is why I believe it has deep meaning although I cannot understand

this is crazy, i watched her higher performance on superstar k two years ago and i KNEW in my heart she would debut, come to find out yesterday night i was watching a busking video of this song and she showed up i was like “wow who is this woman she’s absolutely amazing” i listened to this song and watched the live stage not thinking much of it, and then i was watching some singing videos and hyewons higher performance came up (keep in mind i forgot about her) and i’m like woah i remember her she’s amazing i go to scroll through the comments and i see a link and click it to this same exact video that i watched yesterday. this mv. this is nothing big but wow i’m endlessly proud of her she’s doing great things
