I love and respect your dedication to hair. I we had more of you, the salons would be packed like hell. It is hard to get someone who is not scissor happy too. You actually went through her hair and analyzed the type of split ends she had. Vs just chopping off. As usual, excellent informative video.
millib09 Thank you, I treat other people's hair as if it were my own. The same TLC I give mine is what I give to others. Taking the time to not only style their hair but educate as well. That is what being a "Cosmetologist" means to me. Not just being able to do hair but understanding it and helping your clients to know their hair better as well.

Excellent video!!! I really like the way you took the time analyze the strands and not chop her hair off because of the splits. When I am ready to big chop again I will come to see you for that education...
Nachann Offutt I was thinking the same thing. A lot of hairdressers don't do that. Heck, I've had someone let me leave the salon with OBVIOUS ragged ends. And for me to say they were raggedy, that means they were a hot mess. I just cut them myself.
This is so awesome! I love seeing YTers get together and support each other. You slayed her hair. I've been watching you for a really long time too. I remember a video when you were experimenting cornrows on your friend's hair. You've come so far. Be blessed.

If her edges maintain it's integrity; I am coming to see you, for real. Great job! two youtube celebs in the same video. I am a subscriber to you both. Infact, I saw Toni and the Boy at the world natural hair show. They both gave me a huge.
wanna benatural Thank you! Her edges are fine. I don't pull out edges. I actually grow and repair them. I have repaired a little girl's hairline twice now after her mother took her to a family member that thinned them out. I flat twist her edge as well. The thing with flat twists vs braids is that twists actually loosen when it is released which is why I am able to do them on smaller sections without creating excess tension on her hairline.
i LOVE how you take the time to ask your clients questions!! i feel like you dont see many stylist do this at least ive never had a stylist do this to me. i like how you take the time to understand your clients regimen and how it effects their hair!!
