    The commentary through the video is a great addition. It really brings your message out visually and verbally. Probably twice the work on your end though so much appreciated!!

    From the first episode I’ve learnt that when my pup was this age I accepted a lot of behaviours that I shouldn’t have . Really liked the commentary over the video and a nice touch at the end . Well done 👏 👏👏👏

    She so reminds me of a springer ! She’s full of beans just like my Reggie was as a puppy , she had a lot of character! So looking forward to follow her journey! 🙌🐾🦅

    Glad your doing this new series! Just got a lab pup a couple weeks ago. Its refreshing to see the beginning process and the mischievous stuff that the pups do, and how you handle it! We started place training with her a few days after she got home and seeing almost the same kind of behavior but slowly making progress. Btw, that pointer is beautiful!!!!

    Hey, really looking forward to seeing the series, i followed your earlier videos as i love your calm way with the dogs but being a GSP man they weren't "really" right for me, now this series is right up my street 👍🏻 Cheers Jimmy

    Thank you for the videos. What are the benefits of a raised place for your pup? Is it just for a more defined border?

    • @DogBoneJeremyMoore
      @DogBoneJeremyMoore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it makes it very clear to them. You're either on or your off, theres no grey area! I like a raised platform for little puppies as well because it is almost daunting to them to step off, and aids me in the place training process.

    This is a great series for me. My previous bird dog was a lab. My first pointer, a setter pup, is due this summer. Looking forward to the journey!

    Hey there! This is such a great series and I’ve started to watch these videos through to truly understand what it takes to train a puppy. I’m enjoying the concepts - what I would like to know where one can find the raised bed you use!

    I know teaching them to be calm is important, but I'm trying to understand the eventual end goal of this training. I know place training and conditioning a prolonged stay in their place is important. But what's the end goal of this training here, is it just to have her be calm on her bed, or to have her always stay there until you release her? What's the commands that will eventually come into play with this?

    • @DogBoneJeremyMoore
      @DogBoneJeremyMoore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s teaching them to understand that they cannot free roam (where they typically find themselves getting into trouble. This is safe spot that the pup can move around but only writhing the boundary of their place. It’s not a strict or demanding as remote sit. My pups have 3 options, with me under 💯 supervision, in their kennel or on their place. That ensures they don’t have the opportunity to make mistakes and form undesirable habits.

    What is the concern about her barking at her reflection in the glass? Seems like a normal response from a pup who is startled or uncertain. Do you have rules as far as dogs not being allowed off the beds in the house unless on command? And no barking?

    • @DogBoneJeremyMoore
      @DogBoneJeremyMoore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      She’s not startled, she thinks she’s challenging another dog not realizing it’s her in the reflection. It’s not an acceptable behavior for me. Cute today will become a pain tomorrow. I don’t like dogs being vocal. My dogs earn their freedoms when they get to anoint where they understand what’s acceptable behavior. Pups have a couple options. 1-in their crate. 2- on this place. 3-with me under 💯 supervision. (Weather permitting I will put a pup outside in a small puppy gate area or tie out)
